Buhari only needs about 10% votes in SE. He will offset the poor showing with SS votes. He will win SW, NW, NE and NC.
Atiku will only win SE, get 40% in SW, 40% to 45% in NC. He will not score more than 35% in NE and NW.
Their only hope to get the presidency through BDC Onnoghen has been busted.
*Modified* Majority of the SW people here think Atiku cannot get up to 30%. So, it makes things worse for him. |

hypertension: A delta man vote for buhari. .God forbid. i urhobo and never votig for bihari. maybe ogboru..we need change What you should realize is that the Delta men in APC understand that Buhari must win or do very well at least on Feb 16th, for them to have a chance of winning on March 2nd. Also, the senators like Omo-Agege needs to win to return to the senate. Lastly, Delta state is different from most states in the sense that there are many tribes with different ambitions and alignment there. Urhobo and Itsekiri both have different interests in this current APC government and will give their votes to PMB/APC. |

kingkakaone: The Urhobos always go with the rotation policy if not Okowa wouldn't have succeeded in the last election. Do you know that Okowa won about 21 local governments in that election?
Also, one fact you and the OP are keeping out is the unified Delta North. They will root for Okowa.
Okowa has a chance of winning up to 4 local governmens in Delta Central while he can win warri South through Ejele and Isoko through Leo Of.
The odds are against Ogboru. Let's wait and see. But I believe Ogboru has never had a better chance than now. |

drtwist: Brother you're right to some extent! It's difficult convincing those from Delta central against The lifeless one because Okowa fail very well. I think Buhari will be getting some block vote from the Urhobo and Iseke land, but won't get more than 40% in delta because rigging is mostly done in the riverine area which is mostly dominated by the ijaws . For me I want Buhari and Okowa to go home and rest . They are both the definition of failure. This is what I align with - Buhari will get nothing less than 40% in Delta. Ogboru may eventually beat Okowa inthe gubernatorial election since both are not taking place at the same time. |

kingkakaone: Delta sure desires a change of government but it is very difficult at the moment because the Urhobos believe in rotation, they will vote for Okowa and expect to take over in 2023. Besides, out of the 8 Urhobo local government, PDP controls up to 4 if I'm not mistaken. Test only sure local government for APC is Ughelli north and south, Ethiope east While PDP has Ethiope West as their biggest stronghold due to Ibori (I'm from Ethiope West).
That being said, Buhari won't get 40% OP, don't allow those noise to deceive you.
APC may have a slim chance in the gubernatorial election but in for the presidential one. Why do you think the Urhobos will want to wait till 2023 when they have a good chance in Ogboru who is very popular in Delta state? As things stand and as the poster stated, PMB has a huge chance of winning Delta state because of the big politicians on his side. Omo-Agege and Ogboru alone can do wonders. Plus the fact that Itsekiri and Urhobos are rooting for PMB. |
Politics › Re: Nazism, Fascism, Buharism: Why The International Community Must Act Fast- Kadiri by disturbedman: 8:11am On Jan 29, 2019 |
[s] TheSaxophonist: Cephas Kadiri
Warning bells began to clang all over Europe in 1933, when the Nazis led by Adolf Hitler took power in Germany after winning majority seats at the 1932 parliamentary elections.
When Rtd. General Muhammadu Buhari assumed power in May 2015, right thinking Nigerians began to question the patriotism of those who helped enthrone the former junta leader. To some of us, it was saddening that some Nigerians had fallen for the gimmicks of a despot in Civilian apparel, for a leopard as we know never changes its spots.
When Benito Mussolini and his Fasci Di Combattimento marched into Rome on October 20 1922, with claims of restoring Italy to Greater heights, many Italians took his words for it. Unfortunately, in less than 5 years, free speech had been curbed and all political opposition dissolved.
When Rtd Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and the APC led Federal Government moved into Abuja in 2015, claiming to restore Nigeria to old heights with their phoney Change mantra, many Nigerians believed the deception. Four years later, the Federal Government has come hard on outspoken critics, clamping down on opposition and constantly violating the basic rights of stunch aspersers.
When communists burnt down the Reichstag on the night of February 27 1933, Hitler suspended parliament indefinitely, thus acquiring the opportunity to violate basic human rights of Germans and dismantle his political opponents at will without resistance from the country's lawmakers. World leaders refused to bat an eye.
On Aug. 2018, in a fashion mirroring that of the Nazi Schutzstaffel, the Muhammadu Buhari led secret police stormed Nigeria's national assembly in a well planned attack to execute a legislative coup. Nigerians cried out! The international community was called upon, leaving the Buhari led federal Government no other option than to revert its Hitleric plan.
The Fascist leader Mussolini repeatedly promised to fight corruption, and put an end to economic hardship. A while after his sugar-coated rhetorics, with intimidation and terror he was ousting elected officials in Northern Italy.
Rtd. Gen Muhammadu Buhari repeatedly promised to tackle corruption and put an end to Nigeria's economic woes, in less than a year we witnessed the senile autocrat pilot the country into its worst economic travails in decades. Today he is ousting constituted authorities without remorse.
Following the passage of the Nuremberg laws of September 1935, and Hitler's ensuing stratagems to systematically exterminate German Jews, world leaders respected the decision of a despot to make laws for the people. The results were more than terrifying.
Following Rtd. Gen Buhari's tacit admission to supporting the heinous crimes perpetrated by the dreaded Fulani herdsmen (the world's 4th deadliest terror group) with his carrot approach to addressing the matter as one of national security; world leaders refused to intervene, leaving helpless Nigerians to die in scores.
When President Paul Von Hindenburg passed away on the second of August 1934, Adolf Hitler assumed total political control over Germany, merging the positions of Chancellor and President; thus obliterating the sacred constitutional principle of "trias politica" -separation of powers. World leaders turned a blind eye.
Now Rtd. Gen Muhammadu Buhari has pissed on Nigeria's constitution yet again, removing the head of the country's Judiciary; and thus scrubbing off that sacred constitutional principle of "Trias Politica", world leaders have placed their jaws on their hands, with no concrete steps In sight.
In 1648, world leaders gathered at the province of Westphalia, recognizing the sovereignty of each nation-state over its own territory and domestic affairs, to the exclusion of all external powers, on the principle of non-interference in another country's domestic affairs. The rationale behind this historic treaty was the need to curb the excesses of state actors, provide checks and balances in international politics and above all, to break the winds of political hegemony.
However, taking into careful consideration the imperfection of man made laws, it would appear more than reasonable that when the basic rights of citizens are violated or threatened by state institutions who swore to protect them, the doctrine of Westphalian sovereignty recognizing the independence of such state must be overridden!
This assertion is rooted in the certitude that the law was made for man and not man for the law. With the unimaginable horrors witnessed by helpless millions around the world, at the hands of totalitarian rulers; world leaders must at all cost strive to avoid the depths of human depravity once again. Warning bells are clanging! Cephas Kadiri- is a Nigerian political activist and public commentator.
