Education / Re: Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, (Pictures) by dives(m): 2:14pm On Dec 10, 2013
If these pictures are truly what ABU looks like in reality, honestly ABU is beautiful and it is more beautiful than OAU. sadI am an alumnus of OAU so i know what i am talking of) sad the way the flowers, sidewalks and lawns complement the buildings is awesome! . But in terms of landscape and architectural masterpieces i think OAU is better than ABU. wink cheesy

KGB2008: We missed OBJ sometime walahi.GEJ to soft.I cant imagine all Dick and Harry calling GEJ names.Even Tinubu?
Since when did speaking the truth become tantamount to calling people names? Mr man or "Mrs woman" We are not operating a military government okay. We are in a democratic system and when the government is derailing it is the duty of the opposition party to call them to order.
Politics / Re: Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria's Strictest Leader by dives(m): 2:02pm On Jul 10, 2013
@ OP you say you are not pro or anti anybody but the title Gen.... "NIGERIA'S STRICTEST LEADER" already seems like you are taking sides. If you say you are just writing about one of Nigeria's leaders as you claim, just write and let we your readers be the judge as to whether he has been the strictest or not. If you are to write on GEJ would you write. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Nigerias dumbest president or Gen Sani Abacha Nigeria's most corrupt head of state?. You can't continue to label all the presidents and head of states and just say you are just writing on them. If you are 'just' wrting on them then you should choose your titles carefully.

kutchs:
Bigger oil boom?
You gat to be kidding me. With dwindling production occassioned by theft and insecurity in the Delta, low patronage from our foreign partners like the US and China and ofcourse with the ever pressing and demanding global recession, what booming these days.
Truth is Nigeria has more challenges and demands now than the Gowon era and everything now is done on a budget. Do you still remember FESTAC 77?

What is booming??

My broda EVERYTHING IS BOOMING!!!.

Dwindling oil prices?? At least since december last year oil price per barrel has not dropped less than $90 per barrel. Unrest in the Delta? Which unrest? At least since that same December last year also there has been peace in the Delta cos militant activities had reduced to less than 1% as at then (thanks to the amnesty programme)
Ok let's do the maths assuming we have been producing 2 million barrels per day due to "theft and insecurity"(mind you Nigeria produces close to 2.5million pbd) at $80 pb due to "dwindling Oil price" what do you have? We have a whooping $160 million PER DAY!! Now Convert that to Naira and imagine what we rake in per week and per month. My brother Everything is booming oo don't let the Government fool you into believing nothing is booming. if everything is not booming why you think sey Oga Jona wan run for 2015 by force? Na so im like to dey serve im fatherland reach? If i hear!

1) Nobody knows the lady in question (except maybe google)
2) Christianity is already seriously OVERPOPULATED so she is definitely unnoticed
3) The lady certainly contributed NOTHING to christianity so her exit changes nothing
4) She doesn't have to explain her actions cos NOBODY cares to know
5) She sheepishly ran into islam, she would certainly run out of islam.

50calibre: I saw this video on Al-Jazeera and RT, but yet to see it on any western media. They won't show you things like this.

These Syrian rebels are nothing but terrorists, and it's only Putin that see them for what they truly are.
Why would they when they are the sponsors? Where have you seen a criminal exposing his own crimes before or are you a learner?

touchmeder:

I'm afraid i find myself having to agree with you on this note. when people go to a predominantly Muslim country, they BEHAVE themselves. you don't misbehave, commit adultery, openly kiss or smooch in some of these places and people obey. when they don't you read sorry stories of people in jail for kissing or something else. in the same vein, these Muslims have to respect the law in these foreign country they wish to live in. you just got to. the french are fast losing patience, they may not be right but hey dont forget IT IS THEIR COUNTRY. You dont like it, get a one way ticket back to your father land. embarassed my sincere condolence

chidindufrank: Nairaland is a partial forum. This topic made front page immediately it was posted.smh
Partial indeed!..when the article said "islamophobic" it wasn't being partial right? Why didn't it state the men's religion or are they not ffwrs of a particular religion?. Does their religion teach them to attack an innocent unarmed pregnant woman? But if they had beards, we would not have had peace here with all you muslims at it again talks...May God comfort the woman. I can't imagine the horror of being kicked in the belly not to talk of being kicked as a pregnant woman.
