As per preparations, I think what we need to do is master our research proposals very well and do our best to convince the interviewers why our research is worth PTDF funding.

There are no awards this year, otherwise you would have uploaded it during application and you would have been asked to come with it to the interview in your invitation mail.

Hi everyone,

My dad's application was approved today. Applied on the 15th of October, Biometrics done 23rd October. Biometrics Validity letter update 19th of Dec (don't understand the purpose of this letter), Passport request letter received 20th Dec. I thank God. It was silence all through, and they stuck to the 64 days timeline. E be like say dem remain say Christmas na next week and they rushed it out.

So, for those that have used VFS Lagos, I know that someone can submit the passport for him, but can someone collect on his behalf. He is not in Lagos and I don't want him spending flight money to go and collect the passport. The VFS site states that someone can collect for him but I have heard from people that they don't allow it. Can someone with experience confirm please? Also, where can I download the VFS Consent form? I can't find it anywhere on their site.

I'm writing this post with a heavy heart

So I'm 21 and I finished secondary school at age 17 (2015) and to be honest I just got admission this year to study pharmacy while my mates are in their final year and it hurts alot because my mum keeps telling me that my cousin is in final year and is about serving next year and I'm just gaining admission to a university, she even uses her friend's child as an example and it made me go into a Little depression, I actually felt sad because for the first time a comparison actually hit me...

She claims they (my parents)are supposed to be resting and not paying school fee. That I'm stressing them and ever since I was a teenager I always vowed that I wanted to leave my father house before 25yrs of age

Now I'm studying a 5 years course (7 years to become a full graduate) and by then I'll be 28 I actually feel ashamed because this isn't what I wanted since I left secondary school
I wanted to finish on time and remove the burden from them

I've never failed jamb, my least Score was 245 but circumstances kept dragging me back

I finished my ND program in 2017 (Distinction in SLT Yabatech)

So it feels more like I'm parambulating up and down and don't know what I want for my self but I actually do!!

I need an advice or something to make me feel better or confident about my self

Good to hear this.. Would have loved to apply but there's no fund. Sir, do you know of any reputable school abroad that gives scholarship to second class lower graduate? I'm a 2:2 (3.2) graduate of Applied Geophysics.

Please I have an urgent issue to clarify.

I’m having date of birth discrepancy in my First degree, and it might be impossible to rectify, should I remove it from my WES profile, and stick to evaluating my masters.

If yes, when evaluating my masters with WES, will there be any mention of the first degree or anything relating to it.

I believe LOEs should be adequate in both cases. In this scenario, you may also add the stamped visa pages of your passport when uploading your passport biodata page.

1. No hard and fast rule. I'm sure some did as you have done. Some will put employment. Employer: NYSC.

2. After you are done.

3. Don't over-think it. I don't think it matters. I will pick the exit.

Dont think its as expensive as 46k but if u're sure u did better than ur score suggests, then call for a remark. And if u get a better score after the remark, then u get refunded ur money anyways.

Really?? 46k?? I thought the cost for Standard IELTS remark is NGN15,000 payable by Banker's draft or other appropriate means. My friend ask for remark and paid N15k. Anyway, it won't be a bad idea for you to do same. You will be refunded if your band score changes for any of the 4 sections.
However, for most people that has gone that route including my friend, it was specifically the speaking and writing they requested for. My friends got more score from those after the remark and was refunded. Just like you rightly mention, Listening and Reading are multi-choice answer type with marking scheme. The former are as deem alright by the examiner. You may give it a try, perharps, it might be no-of-count mistake
