I strongly advise that she stays away from partaking in future elections in Nigeria to avoid stories that touch. 2019 general elections was an expensive joke. All the actors just played their part as written in the script. |

NICE ATIKU is a GOAL |
The ex parte order from the CCT is not only fraudulent but also a despirate attempt to keep all well meaning Nigerians in captivity of the evil APC. |
Official or not official, it doesn't change the fact that the FG acted unconstitutionally in suspending the CJN. If this dictatorial approach to governance isn't curbed and terminated ASAP, other future presidents will follow the same route in usurping the powers of the NASS and Judiciary without regards for the rule of law and our constitution. |

The federal government has warned against foreign interference in the nation’s affairs, particularly the forthcoming general elections. Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, gave the warning in a statement in Abuja on Saturday. The presidential aide was reacting to statements issued by some foreign countries including the United Kingdom, United States of America and the European Union, over the suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday. President Buhari also swore-in the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko, to replace Onnoghen, pending final determination of the cases against him. However, Shehu stated that the federal government condemned “any interference or perception management that promotes apprehension, citizens distrust or undermines the transparency and acceptability of the outcomes of our electoral process. “Nigeria reserves the right to be insulated from suggestions and or interference with respect to wholly internal affairs and commends international laws, customs and norms that mandate and require nations and the comity to respect this prerogative to all. “Nigeria is confident of its electoral processes and her preparation for the imminent elections and the federal government has supported the independent electoral umpire in both its independence and resources needed to accomplish our desire and insistence on free and fair elections’’. According to him, the federal government welcomes the prevailing keen interest and partnerships for successful elections and a peaceful Nigeria. He added that the government had ensured the independence of all organs, institutions and arms of government to “perform their functions in a manner that is transparent, and not lacking in integrity whether institutionally or by persons within such institutions or organs.’’ He pledged that the government would continue to do this. Full statement below: “The Federal Government welcomes the prevailing keen interest and partnerships for successful elections in, and a peaceful Nigeria. “However, we reject any interference or perception management that promotes apprehension, citizens distrust or undermines the transparency and acceptability of the outcomes of our electoral process. “Nigeria reserves the right to be insulated from suggestions and or interference with respect to wholly internal affairs and commends international laws, customs and norms that mandate and require nations and the comity to respect this prerogative to all. “Nigeria is confident of its electoral processes and her preparation for the imminent elections and the federal government has supported the independent electoral umpire in both its independence and resources needed to accomplish our desire and insistence on free and fair elections. “In addition, the Federal government has ensured the independence of all organs, institutions and arms of government to perform their functions in a manner that is transparent and is not lacking in integrity whether institutionally or by persons within such institutions or organs and will continue to do this. “Although the question of foreign interference, whether state sponsored ,promoted or otherwise has dominated recent elections and outcomes globally, the federal government assures citizens and the global community that it will fiercely and assiduously promote the will and the right of Nigerians to choose and elect their leaders without pressure or assistance from persons or entities that are not constitutionally empowered to participate in the process. “Citizens are encouraged to confidently exercise their franchise in an orderly manner with the assurance of the federal government to their security during and after the electoral process as well as the readiness of the security forces to confront any plan or attempt https://www.ripplesnigeria.com/onnoghen-dont-interfere-in-our-internal-affairs-buhari-warns-us-uk-eu/ |

Buhari's younger sister is in her 80s. Meanwhile, Buhari claims to be only 76 today. He should be thankful to the reporter who is doing him a big favour as 2019 presidential election is fast approaching.

Lies everywhere Nigeria can't be restructured without changing the bloody military satanic 1999 constitution as amended that outrightly rejects restructuring. |

The American reality TV show – “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” which first debuted on October 14, 2007, has been proven to leave viewers worse than the Kardashians themselves according to a new study by the London School of Economics. 487 people between the ages of 18 -49 were selected and asked questions about nine TV shows including ‘X-Factor’, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and ‘The Apprentice’. Researchers found out that those who watched these shows regularly were more likely to be materialistic and lack empathy compared to lighter consumers of these shows. The two groups were also shown adverts of celebrities showing off expensive goods, dinosaurs and other neutral images. They were also asked about success, wealth and government benefits for the needy. Those who were shown the materialistic ads were more likely to stand against benefits for the impoverished though they only saw the ads for about a minute. The study further suggests that reality TV shows that glamorise luxury and fame turn viewers into cold-hearted monsters without empathy or regard for the poor. https://www.36ng.ng/2018/08/10/new-study-reveals-that-watching-the-kardashians-would-make-you-a-cold-hearted-monster/ |
NIGERIAN ARMY NEXT Promise those half hearted soldiers something too to make them less fearful of BOKO HARAM. |
Everything is wrong with the displayed list ranging from underage persons, misspelt or misplaced identities and even names of LIFELESS people are on the list. I feel Nigerian biometrics need to be an ongoing process to eliminate all these shortcomings so as to have better, reliable and transparent outcomes in whatever we want to do in Nigeria. |
If you own a car, you most likely want to be more cautious as there are a number of brands that seems to be loved by thieves much more than others. Even driving an older model of such car brands doesn’t make you safe! Car theft can be as much of a nuisance as—and way pricier than—getting your identity stolen. And if you think it will never happen to you, you might want to think again. According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau’s (NICB) latest annual “Hot Wheels” report, one of the most commonly stolen cars could be sitting in your garage right now. Using national vehicle theft data, the NICB identified the 10 most-stolen vehicles of 2016 in the United States. They found that thieves tend to target Honda Accords and Civics, with almost 100,000 thefts in total. Car thieves preferred older vehicles, too; 1997 Accords and 1998 Civics were stolen the most often. If you own a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge pickup truck, beware! They were the most stolen after Hondas. Toyota Camrys and Corollas, Nissan Altimas, Chevy Impalas, and Jeep Cherokees also made the list, accounting for nearly half of the year’s thefts combined. Only three types of cars were made in the last two years: the 2016 Toyota Camry and 2015 Nissan Altima and Toyota Corolla. The rest of the makes ranged from 2000 to 2008. Although this list hasn’t changed much over the past few years, the FBI reports that in the last year alone, the total number of reported vehicle thefts in the U.S. increased by 6.6 percent. The NICB says this could be because car thieves have started to use more sophisticated hacking technology, especially for the electronic anti-theft systems in new vehicles. If you see your car on the list, don’t panic. You can always make it harder to steal by locking all doors and windows, using anti-theft systems such as car alarms and tracking systems, and parking in well-lit areas. Another thing that can make you rest even easier, is to also purchase a comprehensive car insurance plan that covers the value of your stolen vehicle. This will ensure you get the value of your car back in the event of theft. https://www.360nobs.com/2018/11/beware-your-car-is-more-likely-to-be-stolen-if-you-own-any-of-these-brands/

How friendly is your smartphone when it comes to cancer risk? If you are a male rat and you use your 2G or 3G cell phone for over 9 hours a day, you should be worried about Thursday’s National Toxicology Program (NTP) announcement. But what if you are a human? The NTP announced the following findings from a set of $30 million studies that took over a decade to complete: *Clear evidence that high exposure to RFR used by cell phones was associated with tumors in the hearts of male rats. The tumors were malignant schwannomas. *Some evidence that high exposure to RFR used by cell phones was associated with tumors in the brains of male rats. The tumors were malignant gliomas. *Some evidence that high exposure to RFR used by cell phones was associated with tumors in the adrenal glands of male rats. The tumors were benign, malignant, or complex combined pheochromocytoma. In this case, RFR is not a sound that Scooby-Doo makes but stands for radiofrequency radiation, the type of type of non-ionizing radiation that cell phones emit. The studies also found that rat mothers and their newborns had lower body weight when exposed to high levels of RFR during pregnancy and lactation. But before you toss your cell phones into the garbage (which you probably wouldn’t do regardless), there are some caveats with these findings: 1.The study exposed the entire bodies of rats to the RFR, which may be different from how you use cell phones, unless you have a gigantic cell phone or routinely cover yourself with dozens of cell phones. 2.The amount of RFR exposure was significantly more than what you normally would get from a cell phone. 3.The studies mimicked the RFR from 2G or 3G cell phones, which were used back when Justin Timberlake was part of N*SYNCH and you likely don’t use anymore. 4.The study did not find as clear evidence for female rats and male or female mice. 5.You are probably not a male rat. Biologically. The results of this study should not make you panic. Unless, of course, you are a male rat, because there are other reasons to panic if you suddenly find yourself to be a male rat. However, these findings do further emphasize that RFR is not completely harmless. It is easy to forget that your cell phone is a machine and not a person, even though nowadays your cell phone can talk to you, entertain you, and even comfort you. But just as you wouldn’t hug a microwave, you still have to be wary about how you interact with a machine. Moreover, the advances and use of cell phone technology have far outpaced understanding of the potential health consequences. As the NTP study showed, it can take a while to measure the health effects of RFR. The technology has changed vastly since the beginning of the NTP study. Before more definitive statements are made in either direction, there is a need for more studies on the potential risks of cell phone use. Remember that cell phones have not undergone anywhere near the same amount of safety testing that things like vaccines have. Using a headset is one way of reducing your RFR exposure. (Photo: Getty Images) In the meantime, you may want to take the following 10 precautions: 1.Carry your cellphone as far away from your body and head as possible. Don’t keep it in your underwear when you are wearing that underwear. There are other ways to look bigger if that’s what you want. And don’t strap it to your head, because there are other ways to say, “I am an idiot.” 2.Check where your cell phone is before you go to sleep. A cell phone can be like a rock bottom one night stand. You don’t want to wake up and realize that it is next to you. 3.Use a speakerphone or a headset whenever you can. This will help increase the distance between the phone and your brain. Plus pushing an object against your ear is never comfortable, unless you are in to that kind of thing. 4.Try to avoid using your cellphone when you have a weak signal. When the cell signal is weak (only one or two bars are displayed), the phone amps up its RFR trying to connect. This will also help you avoid asking, “what”, “can you hear me”, or “did you say ‘love’ or ‘glove’” so many times. 5.Don’t use your cell phone to download large files or stream videos. This also pushes up the RFR emitted by your cell phone. You can wait until you get to your computer or other Ethernet or Wi-Fi connected device to download that video of cats falling off tables. 6.Push for more clear labeling and information about RFR exposure on products. Different devices may vary in what they are emitting. Do you ask about such emissions when choosing a phone? 7.Don’t wear your headset when you are not taking a call. Sure, you may want to look like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible. But headsets do continue to release small amounts of RFR even when you are not “using” them. 8.Put your phone on Airplane Mode or better yet turn it off whenever you can. A cell phone is like a toaster. If it is turned off, it is less likely to hurt you. 9.Be skeptical about RFR shields or other devices that claim to reduce your RFR exposure. Surprise, surprise. People are trying to sell you junk that doesn’t work. Many of these may even increase the RFR. 10.Stop using your cellphone so often. A 5-year old does not need a cellphone. Who the heck is he or she going to call? A stock broker? There are many alternatives to using a cell phone, like actually talking to someone face-to-face. You can cut down your cell phone use by reducing the length of your calls. Telling someone that you “love him or her” 50 times on the phone isn’t going to compensate for the fact that you forgot his or her birthday. Technology in itself is neither good nor bad. In the words of Eric Clapton, “it’s in the way that you use it.” Remember to be smart about smartphone usage. https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2018/11/03/cellphones-and-cancer-risk-how-to-use-your-cellphone-more-safely/
