This made me remember when I was on leave in February, I was trying to woo this girl I met weeks ago then in February, we started talking and she made it known to me she was single. Then I thought I would do everything to gain her heart cuz I'm also single and to me God has finally answered my prayers.

We got along nicely, smooth conversations, started talking about being romantic, at times I would go to her office when she's free and we would gist for hours. To me, the bound was already created, I started feeling accepted by her. I would buy her food, gift items when going to visit her and even wait till she closes from work then I'd escort her home.

On a fateful day, I had planned to prepare a meal for breakfast, I didn't inform her I would be coming to her office to share some of the meal I had prepared, then I dished part of the meal in a cooler set, took it to her office in the morning as a surprise just for to know how caring I can be but to my greatest surprise, she asked me to leave quickly that she had a visitor and she wouldn't want her 'visitor' to see me. I agreed and handed over the food to her only to see a tall guy coming to her office as we were talking, this girl was so excited to see him, shook his hands (maybe she didn't want to hug him) cuz I was still around) and ignored me. I stood outside for some minutes and then decided to leave.

Afterwards, on my way home I texted her to ask why she would ask me to leave and left me out there to follow some other guy? She responded with "But you always come here anytime you like and this person came from a very far distance so are you jealous"?.

I took it as a norm. Then later that evening, when she had closed from work, I texted her how I would retrieve the cooler so I can wash it.

Lol, that's where she flared up that I'm not matured and that I'm childish bla bla BLA and that she can never date me cuz I'm acting jealous. She wouldn't even let me speak or say anything to defend myself to tell her I didn't mean it the way she thought. Well anyway that's when she stopped talking to me oh to cut long story short

I stumbled on a post on this topic and I flashed back to my personal experience some years ago. So, let me start with mine. Mind you, I am now happily married with 3 children.

Some years ago I was doing strong-head chasing for this Kogi babe I met during NYSC. She relocated to Sokoto after camp. One Friday night around 11p.m., she called me on WhatsApp:
“Babe, I just dey miss you anyhow. If to say you dey here now…”

As Lagos boy with mumu love, I stood up from my bed in Surulere. Next thing, I was at Jibowu park. No toothbrush, no ATM card, just ₦18k and the hoodie I was wearing. I entered God is Good night bus to Sokoto. Sixteen hours journey o.

I didn’t even tell her I was coming. I wanted it to be a “romantic surprise”. I arrived Saturday afternoon, dusty, smelling like conductor’s armpit, and called her. She shouted: “Ah! You no serious! I just landed in Lagos this morning for my cousin’s wedding!”

Immediately, my brain reset. I stood under Sokoto sun for 10 minutes, calculating my life. I used my last ₦3k to buy fura da nono and sat at the park. Then, I took the next night bus back to Lagos on Sunday. Roughly 32 hours on the road total. She sent me “awww thanks for trying” with laughing emoji.

Till today, my wife still calls me, “Sokoto lover” because I told her about the experience... and NEPA took light the day I tried to explain myself.

That's all I have to say

I'll summarize this as possible.

No one is perfect, yes I hit her cuz I was suspicious of her cheating. I bought her an Android phone and she started chatting with guys on FB and WhatsApp, talking about location on how to meet. I'm not always around though, I come home once in 2 days and I provide everything enough for she and our 3 daughters need to sustain on a daily. She doesn't work, our first daughter is 4, and our twins girls are 2 years old. So I believe she doesn't need to stress herself but just to take care of the kids.

Fast forward, she left a day after I beat her (I know it's not right but I couldn't hold the anger anymore) and i already apologized afterwards not knowing she had in mind to leave. I came home and couldn't find her and the kids, I called and started begging, my landlady, my friends, all our neighbors in the street called and begged her, she just kept lying that she will come back today, come back tomorrow but we never see her. I cried and cried, almost killed myself, didn't eat for days, just drinking and smoking, got admitted to the hospital, my neighbor called my wife that I'm in the hospital, she didn't care, never came to check on me.

I called her few days after I got discharged that I miss her and asked her why she didn't come to check on me at the hospital. She only gave an excuse that she has started some pos work in their street. She lives in her father's house now with her stepmom. Her junior brothers are the ones taking care of the children. Her junior sister told me all the dirty things she has been doing since she has got back to their house, like going to sleep in a guy's house overnight when her dad is on night shift. I called her dad to explain, but didn't give me the chance to explain. I called her last week Saturday to come see me, and i collected the phone she's using to do runs up and down from her. Now she uses her sister's phone to do those things now.

She called me with her sister's phone on Monday that i should move on when she discovered that I already know all the things she's doing. I have a problem moving on, I always think about her and my children.
I don't have appetite to eat even as I type this, I'm drinking royal circle. I hope this won't lead to my demise as I'm killing myself slowly. I love her. Why are women like this?

So y'all, I'm sure some of you are aware that I have twins recently, I've been looking for money, begging up and down nairaland to take care of them since I have a job that pay less than expected. Now I have 3 kids.

My salary is not much and wife does not work. So on the naming ceremony day, I was preparing to cook beans for my new kids as to celebrate their birth.

My wife, she came from a polygamous home and she had seen her biological mother in a while. The closest to us and the person she lived with is her dad and stepmom. Her stepmom took care of her when she was 5 when her biological mother ran away just because of the circumstances then according to the story I heard.

Also, I blame my wife for everything. Because before her mom came on that day, my wife would text her mother on WhatsApp about everything that is going on between me and her, there was this text I saw when we didn't have much which quotes " Mom please pray for us, to eat is a problem. And also I need baby things."

Imagine that coming from someone that's never supported the family with a dime, she does not work to put food on the table. I do everything, all bills, house rent, water, food etc.

Fast forward to now, on the naming ceremony day, her mother came with her sibling and 2 family members, and started shouting, raising voices on my wife, afterwards she fainted and anyway she regained consciousness eventually.

After all merriment, settled and then the next thing her mother told my mom is that she's taking my wife and the kids away to take care of them without any mutual agreement between us.
I flared up, I disagreed, I shouted that I can't let that happen but, my mom calmed me down to accept their wish.

They took her and the 3 kids with fights and quarrel ON THE NAMING DAY without even saying goodbye. After they left, I sent a text to the mother which quotes "I hope you know what you are doing before you break your daughter's home. May God bless us all".

After she saw my text, her dad called, I didn't pick, then she herself called 2 times and I ignored her call as well.

3 days later after they left, I got a WhatsApp call from one of their relatives saying why did I abandon my wife and my kids? I told him I never abandon them and told him the whole story that I never sent them out.

I've told myself I won't pick any of their calls for now because they hurt me. They turned the day of joy to day of sorrow for themselves. My new born twins that I'm supposed to be looking at and praying for every morning. They've taken them away.
