I want us to talk about employers and how they handle the tips given to their staffs. I was reading through a thread on front page that talked about dropping your phones before resuming work. In that thread I saw a comment that attracted my attention. The person said he/she works for GT plaza. He said it is a fast food. He said the company collects the tips given to staffs. I want us to talk about this.

Dear Abuja residents..

So i have a relative who relocated to abuja as he got a job offer in the city.

He has been house hunting, he finally got a Two-bed room and one parlour apartment in Lugbe Area. He was asked to pay 980k in total.
The rent is 800k. Caution is 100k, Agent is 10% of rent = 80k

I humbly want to know if its worth paying for or should he keep looking? Abuja residents, pls help a brother out

thank you. One more thing. How was your shift like? They said we'd work from 6am to 12pm or from 12pm to 6pm

If you say 6:am to 12pm then it's 2shift,but I can assure you that you won't be able to close by that said time. If you close by 3pm then you are lucky. Because they are always rush hour during that 12pm. Oh now I understand where the 3shift is coming from, some closed by 3pm. 6 or 8pm if I can still remember while the last shift they closed by 11pm to 12a.m but they made reservations incase you want to sleep over. Best of luck with your new job.
