CHRISTIANS AND TRADITIONAL WORSHIPPERS CLASH OVER CORPSE IN AKWA IBOM COMMUNITY

Christianity and Traditional religion embark on a test during a funeral service today in Oruk Anam Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

Fight erupted when the set of masquerades entered into where the burial ceremony was held and chased away christians describing the deceased as their strong member

Masquerade chased Church members away and took over the funeral service today.

The funny part was that, the man with white Underwear approached the Pastor to handover the corps peacefully to Ekpo Masquerade, using Mark 12 :17 “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” but he refused. The Commander ( Obong Ekpo) then ordered Ekpo Masquerade to chase them away, where he ( the pastor) ran away along with his members but couldn't go with his Bible because of fear.

The claims of purported linkage of Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State to any cultism-related organisation has been described as false by the founder of The Grace Family, Rev. Patrick Henry Edet.

He made this statement while responding to the false conclusions drawn from a video clip of his message.

Rev. Patrick Edet said that for his response to the false and malicious claims in the now viral video clip was because it is part of the privilege and honour of Governor Udom Emmanuel to be presented in the right light because of his established stand on support of justice, truth and honour.

“I’m addressing this because the name of an individual is involved and this individual is currently the number 1 citizen and has the legal authority of governance in Akwa Ibom State…

"The Governor of Akwa Ibom State must be presented in the right light because he agrees with justice, truth and honour.”

He refuted the claims that he said the governor was a member of Freemasonry, strongly stating that this was completely false.

“The claim that I have spoken or alleged on that video that Governor Udom Emmanuel is a member of Freemasonry or any other occult or that he is a sponsor of them is absolutely false.

"I know and believe in Governor Udom Emmanuel as a Christian. I have done this publicly for years and consistently. In private conversations with people, in private conversations with him, in public presentations he has been in attendance on a number of occasions. Whoever knows me and is interested in knowing me would know one thing, I am not moved by people's opinions, I'm moved by convictions."

The founder of The Grace Family asserted that he has a long-standing relationship with the governor which has been well-known public fact across the state.

He also stated that he is convinced that Governor Udom Emmanuel is a Christian who has shown that he loves and puts God first always by the way he consistently hosts men of God at the Government House, solemn assemblies in the state, vigils with people in his cabinet, and frequent prayer meetings.

“I know and believe in Udom as a Christian and I have done this publicly for years and consistently in private conversations with people, in private conversation with him on a number of occasions.

"Whoever knows me knows that I am not moved by people’s opinions, I am moved by convictions.

Rev. Edet also said that there would be no reason for him to be provoked to speak ill of the governor seeing that he had a cordial relationship with him and was strongly convinced about his faith in God.

“I could not have stood on this ground of personal conviction about his Christian faith and in a time like this, without provocation or reason, I would now say, ‘This same man is a member of this occult group or that secret cult’. While making reference to some of the outstanding projects of the Hon. Minister, the state coordinator applauded the minister for his achievements, from his days as Governor till date and maintained that he is convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if offered a higher platform Senator Akpabio will do more and position Nigeria in the world map just like he did to Akwa Ibom State. “Akwa Ibom state is known to us in Benue because of the legacies of Senator Akpabio, I have been to the state and indeed, I can say that Senator Akpabio deserves a chance to Lead this country to its promised land, Today we are taking it upon ourselves as representatives from the 23 Local Government Areas of this state to match in solidarity as we seek for a credible candidate for 2023 presidential elections, Senator Akpabio we all know has delivered and is known all over the country for his good works. Also Speaking in response to the Benue state Coordinator of the ONE NIGERIA MOVEMENT FOR GODSWILL AKPABIO, Abasifreke Ekanem (Spencer Ekanem), the progenitor of One Nigeria Movement For Godswill Akpabio noted that the movement has witnessed massive acceptance and today Benue State has shown readiness to be part of this Uncommon movement seeking for credible leadership.

It can be recalled that the youths of Kebbi state had earlier declared the Honorable Minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio Wanted for the post of President after which Sokoto state followed same. On the news, Cross River state from the south have called on the minister to join the race and today in North Central, Benue state youths have shutdown the streets of the state capital calling on the Honorable Minister to join the race for Presidency come 2023 General elections.

“We hereby urge the Minister to respond to this CALL TO SERVICE by declaring intentions for the post of president in the next general elections as we shall not stop yearning for good governance and a taste of Uncommon Transformation in Nigeria.”

Man sees dead wife with another man in Yenagoa���������

One Mr. Tamuno Douglas from Rivers State caused a lot of traffic today at Opolo-Elebele Road.

Mr Douglas said he came into Yenagoa yesterday for an Interview at a nearby Hospital and decided to move around to see how Yenagoa looks like.

He was walking around Opolo Round-about when he sighted his wife that died 3yrs ago in his home town...

According to him, "My wife died of asthma 3yrs ago and had since been buried but am surprised to see her with a man conveying her in a keke, at first I hesitated, then I summoned courage and called her by name, she turned, look at me and disappeared".

The man who carried her fainted twice...

After he was resuscitated, he narrated his story saying he had lived with her for more than a year.

He also said they met in church and he later proposed to her and she accepted...

WORLD'S DEADLIEST SNIPER ARRIVES UKRAINE, TO FIGHT RUSSIA:

One of the world's most fearsome snipers has joined the fighting in Ukraine after answering President Volodymyr Zelensky's call for foreign volunteers to help defeat Russian invaders.

The marksman, known only by the nickname given to him in Afghanistan, 'Wali', has previous combat experience from fighting in the Kandahar theatre during the Afghanistan War.

The 40-year-old, who later took it upon himself to travel to Iraq in 2015 to help fight the Islamic State's forces, said he answered the call like a firefighter responding to a blaze would do.

Reports suggest Wali was the member of the Royal Canadian 22nd who fatally shoot an Islamic State terrorist in 2017 from more than two miles away - a 'world-record' for the longest ever kill shot.

Wali said he was contacted by a friend on Friday who had been organising "neutral convoys" of humanitarian aid for several months to bring food to the occupied Donbas region.

Wali, who fought alongside the Kurds against ISIS in Syria, told French-Canadian publication La Presse: "He told me they needed a sniper. It's like a firefighter who hears the alarm ringing. I had to go."

He leaves behind his wife and baby son, who will celebrate his first birthday without him next week.

"I know, it's just awful," he said. "But me, in my head, when I see the images of destruction in Ukraine, it is my son that I see, in danger and who is suffering.

The General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry in Effurun, Delta State, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, on Sunday gave cars to two Nollywood veterans, Cynthia Okereke and Chinwe Owoh. He also gave them N2m for fueling of the vehicles.

He took to his social media to share the pictures and wrote

“It was a great and glamorous service today, as Prophet Jeremiah surprised two veteran Nollywood actresses, Cynthia Okereke and Chinwo Owoh, with car gifts worth six million naira each with the sum of N2,000,000 cash to support the fueling of the vehicles."

A girl about 20 years old, with a big handbag boarded a taxi from Rumuokoro to Iwofe.
The driver being vibrant felt a strong smell coming from the girl's handbag. The horrible smell made the driver suspicious, who then use the light to signal the police at the stop and search point but the police were too busy to notice this.
When he got to the school main gate, he raised alarm they held the girl and beckoned on the school security to search the girl's bag. Many people were afraid not knowing what was happening. One of the security was shocked when he opened the girl's bag and found three heads in the girl's bag.

After cross examination of the heads, the school security guards found out that the heads were known heads.

It was Samsung charger head, Infinix charger head, and one Huawei charger head.

The story of a 100 Level student of university of Uyo spreading across the internet has had some contradictory and disturbing versions of report.

It is reported that she was mad and dumbed at ring road trash site by some alleged Yahoo boys.
It was later reported that she has been found, receiving treatment as diagnosed of malaria, typhoid etc.

The truth is, she was never found till this Sunday noon.
She was found and recollected from trash sites by the Man O war
She is currently undergoing medical treatment at the University hospital
She has reportedly identify her name as Blessing.

He’s SP Felix Ekpoudom, the Division Police Officer, Uruan LGA, Nigeria Police Force, Akwa Ibom State Command.

Do you remember the DPO that celebrated Christmas with suspects from in his station? That’s him. Well it appears this fine gentleman’s milk of kindness will not run dry for a long time.

This time around he has sponsored the medical treatment of a five year old boy, a victim of kerosene explosion whose parents lack the ability to get medical treatment for.

While interrogating the parents, the DPO, SP Ekpoudom observed that they came from a poor home and couldn't take the child for medical treatment. Without hesitation, SP Ekpoudom ordered for the innocent boy to be rushed to University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) for medical intervention so as to save the boy’s life, bills on him.

The young boy has been admitted at UUTH and is responding to treatment while surgical operations will commence this week.

In a country where some policemen are viewed as oppressive, it is necessary to applaud this fine gentleman for his kindness. God bless him.
