Politics › Re: Anambra People, Take A Look At Imo State And Vote Wisely by Dkobo(m): 9:08am On Oct 01, 2013 |
Onyegecha: It is often said that one should look at the mother of any girl he wants to marry. If he likes what he sees, it's a green light but if not, he should run as fast as he can. If Okorocha is the one that is out to install Ngige as Anambra governor, then it stands to reason that he will be part of the administration directly or indirectly. To that extent, Anambra people have an advantage that we in Imo did not have. We did not understand the implications of the twin evils of Rochanomics and Rochacracy before we jumped into the crazy boat. Anambra people should take a peep into Imo and decide what they want for their state.
Do they want our kind of heath care? ?(No single public hospital that is fit to treat a human being in the entire state) Do they want our kind of school system? (Near-zero education passing for free education; a big fraud) Do they want our fourth tier madness?( A recipe for chaos and confusion that has yielded nothing but rancour) Do they want our dry taps or dirty streets and markets? Do they want our kind of civil service? (Corruption -infested, Workers are defrauded, sacked arbitrarily, not motivated.) Do they want our style of contract awards?( Not documented, planned to defraud contractors, substandard works everywhere) Do they want our local government system?( All 27 LGs in critical comatose state) Do they want our youth empowerment strategy? (No employment, defrauded, deceived, used and dumped, pushed into crime) Do they want our pension management style?(Paid 12years arrears on radio, fed with lies and starved to frustration and death) Do they want our policy somersaults, now a culture? Do they want our government by promises? Do they want the regime of vindictiveness?( bulldozers pulling down houses and establishments of perceived enemies? Do they want this penchant for wiping out the projects and legacies of predecessors? Do they want a regime of utter wastefulness and profligacy? The ball is in their court. dat rochas fail imo dnt mean ngige will! |

biafranqueen: I am impressed with what Fashola/Tinubu and team has accomplished thus far, he is a great example of how his progress has Ben recognized in the international community. His strategy has given comfort to investors, therefore as you pointed out bringing in unprecedented capital and cash flow. If you know Obis family background you know how do I put it mildly, that you can only do what you know. I must admit that I don't know Chief willie family like I know Obis but what I do know from researching his background, he is a very diplomatic individual to rise in the ranks of a multi national Corporation like Texaco and then go and turn around Fidelity, means you know how to deal with the Nigerian mentality of gimme gimme, pleasing the masters but also progressing the bottom line. Working for a multinational company in Nigeria is so difficult because you have two different company cultures. For him to navigate those stormy conditions means he will please his master with losing sight of the bigger picture. If he changes our state around he has much more to gain in the international community, he will be a hot cake and a candidate for a super global position in finance. I know that Willy will surprise me if given the chance. go to hell with dat ur chief willy! |

eGuerrilla: Ifeanyi Uba Live
***On his decision to contest ***
It is very important for us to change the trend of politics in Nigeria. It is time for business men to get into politics... the governor of New York. Anambra needs a strategic business vision at this point in town
...most of the politics in Nigeria is sponsored by business men
I care for my state - Anambra state. And anyone who cares for the state will always help people
You need to take the bull by the horn - this why you find Uba
** Difference between politics and business ***
Politicians say things they don't do, business men say things they do - this is the difference between politics and business
The most important thing is: what is you manifesto. Let people see your manifesto and articulate it I am in Anambra to raise the bar. We need to give Anambra people a new sense of live Anambra is very strategic to the world.
*** Why is Anambra important ***
It is the head of the South East. It is Igbo. If you look at page 3 of my manifesto, you will see so many people [Anambra illustrious sons]
*** Are you from Anambra or Imo **** I am a core Anambrarian.
***What are you plans for Anambra *** I am a pratical human being. Anambra needs to be rescued.
You will tell people Anambra does not need story tellers. It needs people who can fix problems
You can look at my manifesto You can go to www.ifeanyiuba.com
I am the only politician in Anambra who has 326 offices in Anambra state It is unprecedented We have an 8-point agenda
240 million toothpicks still being imported into Nigeria. One community in Anambra can address this. guy u are dia! |
