I slumped when I heard the news at 8am as I was about to resume work. then I cried like a baby...then drove with tears in my eyes to see my dad...and he was crying! I could have passed out. The worst was when as tradition demands I go and identify her (being her first son) at d mortuary. For the first time in my life my mum wouldn't answer me when I called....they say Jesus wept...I went beyond weeping o.

naijainstinct: thanks sir......also I forgot to upload my primary school certificate before I submitted my final application, although I uploaded my degree certificate, nysc discharge, birth certificate, waec result and local govt attestation. I hope the omission of the primary school won't affect my application?


Fellow applicants, please ensure you are financially prepared to accept the admission when offered. I was forced to forfeit my admission last year because I could not raise the total tuition fee and some extra charges that accompanied. Whatever the tuition of the department you're applying to is, make sure you budget an extra N50,000 or more for extra charges like departmental fee, PG school levy, etc. The obligatory fee for last year was N61,500, this fee does not include tuition fee which could range from N75,000 to N150,000 or more depending on the department.
Please note that Unilag does not accept installment payment for full-time students and you cannot be allowed to defer without paying the full school fees. Wish you all the best!

Tesiday: thank you DMAINMAN for the prompt assistance you are rendering here. I have already applied and submitted my application for a PhD
programme in History and Strategic Studies, i want to know if i need to submit a copy of the application and photocopies of my
credentials to the dept as well.
secondly, i finished my M.A History in the same dept this year, i have the statement of result but the certificate is not ready yet,
infact i couldnt fill my Masters degree details during the online application because year 2014, my graduation year is not available in
the selection bar. Will affect my admission process?
Thirdly, after completing my application, i tried to view all my uploaded certificates, but it will not show, i guess it should be a
technical problem on the web page, whats your view on that?
I also downloaded something like an exam slip, will PhD applicants write entrance exams as well?
Lastly, how much is the fee for PhD History?
