fraymite:It depends on the the school you applied for. Send a mail to the school you applied to if the result is out. |
تقبل الله منا ومنكم صالح الأعمال وكل عام وانتم بخير Taqabbal-Allahu minna wa minkum saalihul-a'maal. Kullu 'aamin wa antum bi-khayr. May Allah (SWT) Bless you & your family members with a restful mind, useful soul, acceptable worship, & a successful end. May He beautify your tongue with truth, heart with sincerity, and count you among the dwellers of Jannatul Firdaus. Blessed Eidul Adha |
R0LL0N: R0LL0N:If you say you plan to stay in London when your school is in Birmingham then your visa will surely be refused. Go to spareroom,co,uk to search for accommodation. Choose low price filters. You can get a conducive house share accommodation for £300 per month with all bills included. You can even get a not so conducive accommodation for £60 per month with only wifi included. For example: £60 per month accommodation: https://www.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/flatshare_detail.pl?flatshare_id=15306113&search_id=984049935&city_id=&flatshare_type=offered&search_results=%2Fflatshare%2Findex.cgi%3F%26search_id%3D984049935%26offset%3D20%26sort_by%3Dprice_low_to_high& £300 per month accommodation: https://www.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/flatshare_detail.pl?flatshare_id=15312777&search_id=984049935&city_id=&flatshare_type=offered&search_results=%2Fflatshare%2F%3Foffset%3D10%26search_id%3D984049935%26sort_by%3Dage%26mode%3Dlist& Good luck. |
jadepinkett:Follow mimilyrics advice but another suggestion is to obtain PTA to collect dollars or its currency equivalent at CBN rate before you travel. Do not use black market: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nigerianbanker.com/forex-requirement-for-personal-travel-allowance-and-in-nigeria/amp/ You can then use your Nigeria online banking account to pay your school fees through FX transfer. |
arhyur:Do you know immediately that very moment of the exchange rate or later? |
thofunmie:Stanbic |
girlsupersonic:Stanbic bank. Pay your deposit and tuition fee using Form A |
Deelaw13:Do your research by yourself. Everything is written on the website. You should be wary about the total tuition fee you will pay after your scholarship. Some courses and schools with tuition fee of £18,000 will offer £2000 scholarship. This is just to attract people who don't really know about the total tution cost. You end up pay £16000. While some courses and schools will have a tuition of £12000 with no scholarship. This is better in relation to finance budget. So don't just go about looking for a scholarship up and down without any idea of total tuition after deduction of scholarship. The module, as well as the total cost in relation to your objectives, is also important. |

Jarus:You will be allowed to come into the hotel and you must not leave the hotel that you will stay for the first 14 days. Since your exam is online, then there is no problem. But the main issue is when coming back to Nigeria, when returning to Nigeria, you will be required to undergo a self-funded Covid-19 PCR test not less than five (5) days before departure from the UK and must be confirmed negative. More info is given here: http://www.nigeriahc.org.uk/uploads/news/UpdateGuidlines.pdf Why not go to an high class hotel in Lagos or Abuja with top tech internet facilities and limit your phone usage for ultimate concentration. There are many hotels of such. This is the best option. |
SAMDEEA123:Check here for info: https://pos.tlscontact.com/nigeria |
Magnifque01:Simply send an email to forward your travel within one month of your deadline as stated in your visa. However, note that short term travel holiday does not worth it as you have to be quarantined for 14 days. So it is better not to travel at all. If you are in the UK, fill the form to extend your stay within July 31st. That is what hosey write up is about. |

opomulero:The OP knows what hosey is talking about. It involves all visa types. |
pretty1986:Your school offers January admission for BSc Adult Nursing. Ask your school if it will still run in Jan 2021 as things has changed due to COVID. However, before you make any decision, wait till July. Nigeria visa offices are still closed so there is no need to make any decision in a worry. They will also most likely give extension for visa applications. Good luck.

Deltayankeeboi:Undergraduate scholarship is only for Nigerian schools and not foreign scholarship |
RaheemahAro:Pay using Form A in any of the bank head office in Lagos or Abuja. This will enable you to pay based on CBN rate Dont pay with debit card as your naira rate will be based on parallel market which is on the high side. |
dupylola:Sorry sister. Please stay strong. Follow justwise advice. Sorry once again. |
LaaJiblik:You are right. Most UK or European student in Teeside university are 2.2 graduates. The brilliant and intelligent ones are in top UK schools. School fees is virtually the same so they opt for the top schools. To meet your professor, just email him. |
LiftedMan:Your course is recognised. After your studies, you can do MSc top up in some UK university where you just do Masters project to earn a MSc . https://www.othm.org.uk/university-progression.html https://register.ofqual.gov.uk/Detail/Index/37860?category=qualifications&query=Othm%20level%207%20 |
LiftedMan:There are many online courses that are not accredited by UK government education, OfQual. Any course not recognised by OfQual is fake and has no value. Let me know your proposed course so you do not get scammed. Provide the link and information so that I can help you check it from he governing body. |
Phenmeson:The person should just say I plan for university accommodation. It works 99.9 percent of time. Saying you want to stay with your brother temporarily implies that the money in your account does not reflect your true situation and you will most likely be rejected. The allotted money in your bank account for 28 days indicate that you can cater your school fees, accommodation and living expenses all by yourself. You also dont need to submit any accommodation evidence as this is not required for Tier 4 and Tier 4 dependant application. |
preciousmathias:No one cares about your accommodation in Tier 4 for you and your dependants. Just have the allotted money for 28 days and tell them you plan for university accommodation. Dont submit any tenancy agreement or accommodation documents. This is not required for Tier 4 and Tier 4 dependant application. Dont confuse Tier 4 with other UK visa application that requires accommodation evidence such as Tier 2, visitor visa, spouse visa e.t.c. |

Yemsot:Just go for any Masters degree course to bring your dependants. No one cares of your experience or background. That is the law. If you want to switch to do MSc Nursing course if you have no background related to medical science or care, Then go to the following university. They accept any first degree course for MSc Adult Nursing. The program is for 2 years. https://www.herts.ac.uk/courses/msc-adult-nursing |
Cyberknight:Note that undergraduate cannot bring dependents |
Vik15:Note that undergraduate cannot bring dependents. |
Yampotatocarrot:You can volunteer not necessarily in your field of study and it will count as experience. You can get a job without experience if you have the skills and competences. It should also be noted that Internship, Placement, Volunteerism and NYSC also counts as experience. So a graduate should have acquired experience. |
Yakeeboy:Of course, you can get a job without experience if you have the skills and competences. It should also be noted that Internship, Placement, Volunteerism and NYSC also counts as experience. So a graduate should have acquired experience. What information? Be explicit so others will benefit or no one will believe you. |
IMPORTANT ADVICE ON SECURING EMPLOYMENT No course you study will give you automatic job opportunity for PR. There is nothing like the best course to study. We only suggest you to seek shortage occupation list job because of the minimum financial earnings giving you more chance. However, this will not guarantee you any job. People that are not even in shortage lists can even get full time job and resume immediately after their studies as there are numerous examples of these. What will enable you secure job in the UK for PR are your skills, competences and experience. These will enable you stand out. For example, if there is only one position for Mechanical Engineering in an organisation and about three people reach the final interview stage. What will make you get the job is what you will add to the company that the other candidates might not add. If you have good programming and can apply machine learning and AI to improve your company, then you will most likely get the job as opposed to others who dont have those skills. Soft skills like good interpersonal and project management skills can also be the difference between success and failure. |
