aburoburo: lool Mr 190...yes I am, now what grin

Yes there is an iota of fear due to a bad relationship I had 2 years ago sad
I thought as much, when reading your piece something emanated from my head that, you are slow in giving him your response because you are still tired to the past.

My dear, it will never work out if you continue in this light.. Two factors will never make your relationship with that guy work, that is if you eventually say yes to him.

1. You do comparing and contrasting. This is unhealthy for any relationship. Imagine, if you have not said yes to him and you are already full of this, how would it be when you finally agree? Like I will always solicit, if your present guy exhibit traits like or unlike your ex, it is in your best interest not to compare the both of them, if you do, there will always be a reason for your ex to come out on top in your comparisons, and as such, your present guy will be less of a value to you.

2. You transfer aggression from your past relationship to a potential one. If you must experience lasting peace and tranquility in your relationship, there is need for you to let go of the past hook, line and sinker and stop checking up on what went well and what did not. Feel relaxed and give this guy a trial barring any discriminating factor either from the past or from his looks.

Like what you asked if he is a player or not, no one is in a better position than your very self. He might be omitting somethings just cause you have not said yes yet and/or he might be adding up something cause you are tarrying in your reply. So, I'd say, give it a go and allow things to flow the way they ought to.

Wish you good luck.

She should be beautiful (Might not be drop-dead buh it's okay)
Any height will do cause I am 6'2" tall and as such, height is not paramount, buh shouldn't be on the big side.
Might not have an awesome personality like myself or as intelligent as myself buh she should be ready to learn.
Have a very good sense of humour

Can do without/overlook:
Eloquence
Complexion
Wealth (Wetin I wan use her wealth do?)
Romance › Re: Guys Can U Date A Lady Who Is A Virgin witout cheating on her? by dmcdad: 8:32am On Dec 22, 2012
Sure why nothuh If you do have good intentions towards her and you trust she her, then I think that would be lovely.

Moreover, is your relationship sex-based? Cause from the question you asked (Guys can u date a lady who is still a virgin without cheating on her?), one can be able to deduce that sex is a paramount factor in your relationships. Is sex a yardstick for sticking to someone?
Romance › Re: ---- by dmcdad: 8:16am On Dec 22, 2012
Hell yeah!!! That ain't no big deal. Just make sure you keep her at arm's length... Besides, you don't know the reason for adding you back, it might just be for the sake of adding, or she might be aiming for a re-union. I'd advise that she remains your EX forever.. grin

chronique: When ladies complain abt dia bfs beatin dem,all I can do is just sit n wonder. Inasmuch as I n my family knows dat I got a bad temper, yet,I havent lifted up my hand to slap any of my exes for once. I've beaten my younger ones a couple of times for erring but another man's child? hell,no. If I get so pissed off wit d relationship,d worst I'll do is break-up & leave if talkin doesnt help. I just have d feelin dat I'd end up hating myself if I beat up a woman n trust me,dat relationship would end up crashin. There's no reason why a man should beat a woman. It's beta to walk out than physically abuse her.
If Obahiagbon wrote the above, then for the first time, he has failed woefully. That sentence is an incomplete sentence when fails to take the point Obahiagbon was making to its logical conclusion. He "pontificates that save and until" we espouse certain ideals including immersing ourselves in agape love" then something will happen...but he fails to tell us what that something is.

The man must have drunk kai kai before writing the above, was misquoted or the story was made up.
You are right. I guess he was mis-quoted or something. Or maybe the interviewer failed to take cognizance of the latter part of his speech. Smh though.

In some other case, maybe he was carried away by trying to elucidate his point, that he skipped the conclusive part. Anything is possible you know....

Politics › Re: Obahiagbon On The Jubilation In Kaduna Over Yakowa's Death by dmcdad: 6:56am On Dec 21, 2012
Jaggiey: There are two issues here that I wish to address:

1. It must be clearly stated that it a senseless, shameful and regrettable act or conduct to rejoice over the misfortune of others. I stand to be corrected, there is no religion that encourages adherents to celebrate the misfortune of others. Infact, my faith says God will be angered and turn his wrath on such "fools". For me, it is an utter disregard for life and rather callous. Who says the living are better than the dead, however unrighteous we think they were? Who has made us their judges? Who knows when and how he will die? There is none righteous. Let us think about these things.

2. Beyond the jaw-breaking words and confusing blend of expressions by Obahiagbon, I have found logic and wisdom in every of his articles or public speeches I have come across. It just takes a little more careful reading to understand what he says. Really, he may appear laughable but he teaches us plenty of lessons. For one, I realise he is a studious man, he is intelligent, devoted and committed to what he believes in. He is at the moment assuming a social critic's role. He may need to come down to earth to expand the coverage of his audience/readers. I do not blame him much, it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. He has a toolbox of words in his brain and whatever he picks he uses for his communication. Finally, his communication are not merely English words but also comprises technical jargons mixed with literary characterisation or sometimes borrowing from medicine, politics, history, humanities, sciences etc. Therefore, it only takes widely read or open hearted people to understand him. If as he mentioned somewhere else, he devotes about 8 hours daily to reading, this attribute is worthy of emulation. His words are not empty or meaningless. Let us respect him.
@bolded... God bless u

Mosje: this man is just an attention seeker
Attention seekerhuh Someone who was in the Edo state house of Assembly for eight years, and was in the National Assembly for another four years, and is among Oshiomole's Cabinet an attention seeker? I don't think you know what you saying. What kinda attention do you think he is craving for that he has not gotten before? Did you hear him speak during his time at the National Assembly? If you did follow then, you would know he didn't even use much words on this
