Like the above poster said, why don't you confront him first before taking any decision....? |
mazaje: Why are Nigerians too superstitious and believe too much in this juju myth?. . .Hey! I am really against superstitions but then the aforementioned ain't superstitions. They are as real as you and I. the earlier you believe it, the better. I don't know if you are a Nigerian, and if you are, did you live here for a considerable period of time? Unless you live here and experience certain things yourself, or get facts from the horses' mouths, then you might find it hard to believe in them... Juju is as real as the heavens and the earth. Even as Christians, we all know it exist but then, we know we are safe because we are in the hands of the Almighty One. |

With the way infidelity is rocking the world today, it would be biased and sentimental to pin-point a particular part of Nigeria to whine about.. The thing is, this is a problem with women in general, and not just the edo women. Infact! It's a problem with both sexes irrespective of the tribe or race. If you agree that edo women are all flirts, you would also be tempted to agree on the assertion that ALL MEN ARE THE SAME, which is a wrong assertion.. So, it is better to judge people based on their individual self and not by mere generalization. Personally, the kinda edo women I know of ain't anything like that.. I have also seen countless number of ibo women who flirt to the core.. So also, I have seen yoruba women, not to mention the calabar ones I have seen before.. C'mon! This is a general thing, and not a one-tribe menace. Though, some parts might be worse than others, that doesn't call for whining about such part because this is a general problem today and not just of the edo women. |
laykhorn: Thanks for that. I'm studying Comp. Engr. and I think its part of our academic calendar, maybe year 3 sha.I would have been CCNA certified by now buh certain things are just slowing me... |

Localamos: Sorry dude, but you sound egotistic and so empty... I'm yet to see a truly intelligent person who blows his own trumphet.Try to know one before u make assertions that are uncalled for about the person. Don't be judgemental. You don't know me |
Localamos: Sorry dude, but you sound egotistic and so empty... I'm yet to see a truly intelligent person who blows his own trumphet.I think u might have a bit of a probs with comprehension. What do u think is the purpose of the thread? It gives u the previledge to kinda divulge the most important trait latent in u. Besides, if one could highlight other attributes, what stopz one from doing so with intelligence? Maybe ur mind was be-clouded and as such u couldn't keep an open mind. Man, I'm not a braggadocio. If that's what u called what I did, then I think the one that I accorded the glory to knows me hook, line & sinker and he knows I wrote that not to pride myself buh to re-acknowledge his work in my life. Take it or live it, I'm very sincere. |

laykhorn: You're somehow right! But we see things from diffrent perspective.. I dont believe having a GF this moment would benefit my education and career.. Things may nt be as i think thoughI didnt say thats how I see it but rather maybe thats the way these so-called-friends see it. Definitely I dont see it that way. That would be awkward of me to have such a mentality. |
laykhorn: My sister, its not only lady thing, its happening to me too. My silly roommate, my friends, classmates... They're all pressurising me to get a GF. I wonder what they stand to gain if i av oneTrue... Same on here. Sometimes I think it's just for the purpose of bringing balance. Make e no be say na only person own wan lost. lol |
hypeman: Definitely has to be my doggedness and ability to always make something out of nothing...I think we all need it as there is no level of perfection that can make someone stop trying to be better.... |

They transport me around and help me walk...@bolded, you didn't specify if it's as straight as mine or it's just long and.... Just saying. Lol |

. . .How can an educated person reason like this?. . .Many people I know here still believe that evil spirits and witches still spread diseases around. . .Many educated Nigerians believe they can use juju to get money, get women/men etc. . . .Just recently I was watching discovery science and they were doing a show about a bra that can detect cancer and notify the woman wearing it while Nigerians are busy blaming cancer on witches or evil spirit somewhere. . .How can we move forward when the educated ones still hold unto expired age long mythical beliefs that can never help us solve any of our problems?. . .
...oh sorry you said what i lyk MOST...just got carried away
Just saying. Lol
