You wont see it clearly in the micro scale but majorly in the macro scale. How many times have you heard a Fulani will not be president because of Fulani Herdsmen killing across Nigeria? Its only when it gets to Igbos that you hear an Igbo man cannot be president because of ipob. Is Ipob killing across Nigeria? Ipob is not in 5 zones yet they carry it on their head There was agitation by bokoharam for Islamic state in the North East, the was Yoruba nation agitation by Igboho in the South West, there was Biafra agitation by Kanu in the South East. Bokoharam were forgiven as repentant and given monies. Sunday Igboho was released but only Kanu has been heard in detention despite numerous courts freeing him sunboy: That’s a big fat lie! Stop thinking the whole world is against you!
I have Ibo friends that we grow up together in same neighborhood, they don’t have this mentality. |

You're not well. There's no war in the East , there's no need for the military not to stay in their barracks Jagabanbattle: All the residents must be made to understand why it’s important to report all terrorists movement to the government. If they don’t feel the fire, they won’t know how to run away from it.
That’s my own. The military must start with their elders and all traditional rulers. |

The only thing that unites other Nigerian tribes is their hatred for Igbos sunboy: Everything was great until you reach this phrase 😩😩😩 no other tribe is ganging up against you because the FG is enforcing law and order.
Let’s stop this victim card every time. Only the IBO tribe has this line even though there are over 300 other tribes in Nigeria. |

I know two persons who went to our company's branch in SA. One of them was my boss, both said south Africans are lazy. Despite working in a corporate organization, they'd leave you even when the work is not completed. Their women also like Nigerian men IronGalaxy: I'm curious, Is the word "lazy" the first English word you guys get taught in schools? because wow.. everyone and everything is "lazy". The overuse of this word to describe others but yourselves is wild!! |

That is not the reason but your natural hate for your country man is beclouding your judgment. How come the SA government gives Nigerians visas and never complains of Nigerians but the lazy South Africans who do not like to hustle? JohnnA1: If you know some of the things (drugs, fraud. Etc) Nigerians (most especially people from a certain tribe) do in South Africa you won't blame them so much.

Its to return to the 1963 constitution but tweaked to reflect states. Regional system is no longer practical. The main point of restructuring is autonomy. This autonomy will be to states now, no longer region. SonOfDSoil01: the call to restructure is to return the country back to the regional system of govt and that’s wha afenifere and most Nigerians have be calling for. You are the one getting wrong….we re returning back to regional system we if are restructuring. |

Obi won the entire South! Obi has block vote in SS and SE. Look at this latest poll from Statisense. It can be interpreted as even in SW, the overwhelming majority thinks Nigeria under Tinubu is going in the wrong direction senatordave1: Buhari controlled the core north which has the largest voting bloc plus an alliance with south.obi controls only SE the smallest

Restructuring being referred to is each state manage their affairs. The fg only controls immigration, currency, customs, military. All other things are controlled by the states, each doing whats best for itself SonOfDSoil01: So what is restructuring? |

Its not about wanting but practicaloty. States are already 36! You seems to make your submission because you erroneously think I'm from SE. SonOfDSoil01:
you are not making sense, even your leaders have always wanted Nigeria to return back to regional system of govt because that’s was still the only time Nigeria ever made progress, before the military rule when aguiyi Ironsi, an ibo due to his greed and shortsightedness lumped us all together. Regional government is even more better and efficient to manage than states…at least you all can now be able to develop your 5plot of land and build yourself your delusional sea port in a landlocked erosion land

Politics › Re: Reps Disown Trending Draft Bill Seeking Return To Regional Government by DMerciful(m): 7:26am On Jun 01, 2024 |
Ignorance will not make you read to understand! Any restructuring will be that Lagos control its resources, Oyo to control its resources, Imo to control its resources, Delta to control its resources and so on. Regions are dead and never coming back. Know this and know peace SonOfDSoil01: your inborn greed will just keep making you lots more enemies!damn even in regional govt where every tribe controls it region, you still want to go and dominate them? We know Lagos and Sw has always been your problem that’s why you lots have always wanted the state of origin replace with residency through the back door Nwanne be contented with your 5plot of land, you won’t die if you stay there and develop it |

That would require redrawing the borders. You may think that the current geopolitical zones can be used but they're not constitutional. Besides some people would wanna join their kit and kin. Secondly, one regional govt would make governance far from the peripheral communities because of their distance from the center. Thirdly, a lot of civil service job losses would occur Finally, major ethnic group would dominate the regional govts. If Nigeria is modelled like the US, dont we have 50 states in the US that have their own constitution and super courts? Afonja007: why not region if I may ask? |
