Not all Igbos are from SE. I'm not from SE!

You're not an indigenous Lagosian and if you're, you have Stockholm syndrome.

What is the Yoruba word for Lagos?

The Slave Coast will eventually be ruled by the Aboriginals eventually.
SonofLagos:
you even seem to know Yoruba history than your Igbo history grin Chinonso this obsession with Yoruba and Lagos is really getting worked up😂 and since you have the birth certificate of all past Lagos governors, pls tell us where fashola is from and the rest of them with verifiable link and not hear say and please when did the aborigines of Lagos which I belong to complain to you that we don’t want our brothers from other Yoruba states elected in positions of power in Lagos? Chinonso you have bigger problems like erosion, insecurity and Fulani herdsmen killing your people in sad yeast but you seem not bothered about that, but rather a region doing better than your cursed land is your problem….indeed this is no more obsession but witchcraft😂

If I was told even in a dream that Tinubu would be worse than Buhari who I considered the undisputed heavyweight champion of incompetence, i wouldn't have believed it.

Tinubu has taken the title as the undisputed heavyweight champion of incompetence and corruption
ravensckar:
TINUBU has finally realized that it will be his ONE YEAR in OFFICE very soon. Since he has no laudable achievement to boast of, he has resorted to all these LAST MINUTE GRAGRA to please his f00lish supporters.

How funny can governance be? As clueless as BUHARI was, he's still better than TINUBU. EVen Buhari too wouldn't believe that there's anyone on this surface of the Earth that can be more useless than him. Tinubu has really shattered all bad records of governance. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Economy - 20%
Poverty Rate - 95%
Insecurity - 90%
Healthcare - 30% (Thanks to our many disease resistant genes as Nigerians).
Power - 5%
Education - 5% (see as children fail UTME scatter scatter).
Propaganda - 99%
Promise & Fail (I will do this, I will do that) - 99%
Blame game - 99%.

Oh! Lest I forget, this TINUBU 1 year anniversary will favour me and my family. cheesy cheesy cheesy

Lagos live on IGR? Can water within a bucket fill that bucket?

80% of the major infrastructures in Lagos were built with fg money which is majorly from Niger Delta
favor914:
Shameless Delta people, who without allocation money from The FAAC they cannot pay state workers, is who you are comparing with Lagos State were their mainstay is the IGR they generate?

Whenever I am in Delta State, I always have to take my time to educate the weak myopic minded ones, about their oblivious ways of reasoning.

Even after 25 years of voting for Pdp back to back to back that has done nothing for them, they will still blame APC for the underdevelopment in the state.

Politics › Re: Lagos To Celebrate Yoruba Week Annually In September by DMerciful(m): 3:02pm On Apr 30, 2024
There was no word like Yoruba before 1808! Infacts you guys were fighting yourself to death because you don't agree. You only started agreeing less than 80yrs ago in order to compete with Igbos.

Having said that, if Yorubas are one, how come no Lagos indigene has been governor since 1999? You use your common language to deprive indigenous Lagosians while deceiving them you're one.

The reason you've prevented indigenous Lagosians leadership is because you feel they're too liberal and might treat Igbos like other Yorubas from Ekiti, Ondo the same. This stronghold won't be for long. Tinubu wont be there forever
SonofLagos:
please try and type in pigin if English is difficult to write and who mentioned violence in my post? Chinonso it’s non of your business if a Oyo or ekiti man becomes governor in Lagos, Lagos is Yoruba land and so are the other state you mentioned. Yoruba are one and we don’t practice your primitive culture of Osu where some ibos are slaves or where an Anambala man sees himself has superior to ebonyi😂 as long as it is not Chinedu from a cursed land come to seek power in Lagos, then we are fine with any Yoruba man out side Lagos…Yoruba is one, please be worried about your backward region.. I really don’t know the problem of a migrant Igbo with how Yoruba people govern themselves grin

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Is Truly The Most Annoying Person - Dr Nku by DMerciful(m): 2:54pm On Apr 30, 2024
I'm also from Delta. Doesn't matter what the Delta State govt colkects, we need the state resource control to create the necessary competition for development.

Incompetent leaders are easily voted for because generation of resources does not depend on the capability of the state governors since the resources is shared from Abuja. If there is no resource from Abuja, any state that elects an Incompetent governor like Tinubu will suffer
favor914:
I am from the Big Heart State, & despite collecting the highest allocation from The FAAC in the last 10 years since the tenure of Emmanuel Uduaghan, there is nothing on ground in Delta State to show for the vast wealth collected from Abuja.

So when i am here, & hear kids like yourself talk of imaginary resource control, I know it is based on nothing but absolute sheer ignorance.

Never said you're saying it to many people. You're repeating it with some kind of obsession. It's as though someone used it on you and you felt pained and feel others will feel it too. We're not on the same level interms of intelligence, you nor reach!

There is nothing like 100% resource control but 80% is good enough. If resources from my state is used to develop and feed your state, why will you tell me not to speak about where my resources is going? If my resources goes to the center, i focus there too
favor914:
There is nothing like resource control o, only clueless children oblivious to reality, narrates such rhetoric nonsense.
Politics › Re: Lagos To Celebrate Yoruba Week Annually In September by DMerciful(m): 2:39pm On Apr 30, 2024
You said Yoruba is being taught in schools in a mocking way but you don't know how shortsighted you sound. A bilingual person always have advantages all other things remaining constant.

You can't use violence in elections for long. You should know this. If eventually we have electronic voting, non indigenes of Lagos who are not Yorubas will join with Aboriginal Yorubas of Lagos to ensure that only Lagosians like Agbaje, Gbadebo, Doherty,Jandor, Funke Akindeke win Lagos gubernatorial elections and not people from Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Oyo etc who have prevented Lagosians from determining their destiny
SonofLagos:
if you actually believe it belong to all Nigerian, why then do you need to understand Yoruba to achieve your political ambition? And how many non Yoruba do we have in positions of power in Lagos today? If the last election and the current reforms silently going on in Lagos to Limit the influence of migrants Igbo in Lagos have not thought you dolts anything, then I can’t help you grin
Politics › Re: Lagos To Celebrate Yoruba Week Annually In September by DMerciful(m): 2:32pm On Apr 30, 2024
You don't get it. You cannot be in a country and still retain your 'country' before joining. When you agreed to join the Nigerian state at independent, you give up your 'country'.

To get it back, you must secede. Your statement regarding Biafra is not making sense. You killed millions of Biafra to force them to return to Nigeria and you say they should be grateful?
Christistruth00:
Yorubaland that we already have without any Sentiment

you make us think that the way all of Igboland surrendered to Obasanjo and Obasanjo took their surrender as a gentleman if it had been the other way round God forbid and Ojukwu was in Obasanjo shoes

You guys would have claimed to be the New owners of Yorubaland
You make it look like Obasanjo and Gowon were wrong to return your homeland to you

That is how bad your behavior is !!

All of Igboland was surrendered to Obasanjo after Ojukwu fled and abandoned you
Every inch of it including Ojukwu's own hometown!!

We didn't covet your land
Gowon had the power and right to Nationalize your Land for Security reasons
He didn't!

Look at you Fathers submission

If I can speak my language and your language,
who has more advantage?

If I have enough popularity, I can be voted for just like other non Yorubas winning elections. Afterall, no Lagos indigene has been governor in Lagos since 1999. Suffice to say that Aboriginal Lagosians are actually oppressed by Yorubas from other state using the Yoruba heritage as excuse.

SonofLagos:
Keep deluding yourself, the same right you have to live and work, is the same right the aborigines have to direct how the affairs of their state is been run, reason why. They are asking you not to come out during the Oro and also the same reason why they made Yoruba mandatory in all public institutions….if you still think you have the same right with them, then you must be living in fool’s paradise, let no one Nigeria fool you, everyone Dey bear hin papa name😂

Avoid for what? Those are not credible sources! Anybody can create a moniker including those who supported your opponents to malign you.

There is abundant evidence that Obi showed workings. He won numerous awards. Go and see Obj, GEJ, NOI comments about Obi. All this politicians insulted Obi have praised him in the past. They only changed when he decided to run for president and they're afraid because he'd effectively take the feeding bottles out of their mouth if he wins

You guys started this focus on the president with GEJ. What goes around comes around.

Besides, since there's no resource control,
state govts still focus on Abuja so we all focus on Abuja. If the country is restructured to 100% resource control then i can focus on my state but how will your Osun survive without Niger Delta oil money?
favor914:
Focus more on your state government, only Almijiris supposedly filled with hypocrisy will be looking solely to the President in a democratic dispensation like ours of The Federal, States, & Local Governments.

It was this lack of legitimacy that made him take rash decisions trying to gain legitimacy and those decisions damaged his illegitimate presidency for good. He can never take Nigeria to how he met it
