What you don't know is that that toad will not be constructed beyond Lagos!
Its gonna take atleast 20yrs and will be abandoned.
agabusta: Of course it was obvious you are not living in Lagos. Millions are still here and will always give support to any govt intervention at building roads that will ease traffic.
Anyone that do not fancy the idea of building new road corridors are free to keep crying all over the Internet.
In this Nigeria, I make bold to say there's no road construction or road expansion that did not involve demolishing of people's properties. None!
All the current roads we are using, some people paid the ultimate sacrifice. I've not seen that road that was constructed without affecting personal property. I do not know why some people feel this should be different.
The so-called 4th mainland bridge even, it has been said that thousands of houses will have to go for it.
In February 2024, Maersk Terminals CEO, Mr. Keith Svendsen detailed the company's $600m investment commitment on a visit to Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, where he reaffirmed Maersk's commitment to investing more in Nigeria. pic.twitter.com/1ix15vkRCu

TURN AROUND MAINTENANCE OF NIGERIAN REFINERIES: A GIANT STEP TO REVITALISE THE OIL SECTOR AND BOOST THE ECONOMY
In conclusion of the first edition of oversight visits to Nigerian Refineries by the tenth Nigerian Senate to ascertain the status of ongoing maintenance works there, I led the Senate Ad-hoc Committee investigating the Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) Projects of Nigerian Refineries to Kaduna Refinery on Monday, April 29, 2024. During the tour which was preceded by visits to Warri and Port Harcourt Refineries, I commended the management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) led by Mele Kyari and the Management of Kaduna Refinery led by Dr Mustafa Sugungun for their efforts to bring our refineries back to life.
Speaking further at the event which was also attended by officials of NNPCL led by the Executive Vice-President (Downstream), Mr Dapo Segun, I emphasized the importance of ensuring that the refineries are fully operational and running efficiently to meet the energy needs of our country, and called for continuous support for the revitalization of our oil sector.
Generally, I am impressed by the dedication of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR to revitalize our refineries. I am also impressed by the tireless efforts of NNPCL to ensure that these vital national facilities are back to full capacity. The tours gave the Nigerian Senate through the Ad-hoc Committee the opportunity to see first-hand the progress that has been made in reviving the refineries, and I am confident that with the continued support and commitment of the federal government and NNPCL, as well as the management and staff of the refineries, the refineries will soon be operational and contributing significantly to the energy needs of our country.
The 10th National Assembly under the leadership of Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio is highly committed to supporting the revitalization of our refineries and ensuring that they are able to operate at full capacity. I believe that with necessary cooperation and dedication, Nigeria will have efficient refinery sector that will boost the economic development of the country and promote energy security for citizens.
With the conclusion of this edition of oversight visits to our refineries, the Ad-hoc Committee will report back to the Senate and disclose its findings for further legislative action.

You guys built castle in the air with Buhari. With Tinubu, you're building castle under sea.
This project will not be completed in 20yrs
9jatriot: One of the key importance of this road that I have not heard anyone mention is that it will take the tankers that go to buy petroleum products from Dangotte away from the regular express roads, for at least a major part of the road depending on where the trucks are going to.
The second question as to why they are not starting from Calabar I believe was already answered by the minister where he already said, the Calabar end will start in October also.
This project by the grace of God will succeed, naysayers can keep their negative energy to themselves.
After typing this rubbish, go and buy for 1500 with begging
AuschwitzPrefec: Because they can't point to a single legacy project or any project for that matter that their Messiah built and commissioned from scratch, they are now pushing the frugality and minimalist form of governance. This is despite the fact that Obi was far from frugal when it came to public funds. Instead, Obi sold them a dummy of investing their collective federal handout cheque into his personal portfolio.
Now they are all out condemning every project that this current government is proposing and undertaking and declaring it wasteful.
Mind you these are the people regurgitating their cult hero's mantra of moving the nation from consumption to production. To them the much needed investment in public infrastructure like roads, bridges and rail lines is a waste. Their position is that Nigerians are starving and such investment should go to stomach infrastructure.
So here we are with this duplicitous dialectic Obidient zombies kicking against govt spending on much needed infrastructure.
When you're prepared for the worst, you don't feel it as much as people with high expectations
thesicilian: I take it to mean that Peter Obi is supplying fuel to these people mocking themselves at 180 naira per litre? You guys can pretend all you want online, but we all know that the people you're mocking are even doing better than you in reality
This shows you guys know that Obi won the election of 2023 and he is still the major threat to Amoda. If this was made by Obi, you guys will be running like headless chickens on this thread

Maybe if you do use more on your governor maybe you won’t have the need to come to lagos and be a second class citizen and be bothered about who Yorubas elect to govern there affairs.
I'm Igbo alright but from Delta so you don't insult South Easterners on my account
SonofLagos: typical of your type, i would also be Ashamed to also be associated with sad yeast if was in your shoes so I am not surprised that’s why your ancestors have been so obsessed with Lagos even Azikiwe wanted to be premier😂 well I’m proudly Omo eko and I don’t need to prove anything to you just direct your frustration to your the failures you elect in your region, we are doing so much better here in Lagos and Sw and the migration trend from east to west proves that fact, so Chinonso you can focus your strength making your region more attractive and maybe you can have something like Lagos is sad yeast other Nigerian too will like be proud of and like to claim that gets you Igbos so obsessed about ragos😂
Use your head and compare like for like. California joined the United State much later. They cannot say New York people can't come to California. To do that, they'd have to breakaway from the US, then they can regulate their borders.
You cannot be within a country and say you wanna regulate your borders. If you cannot regulate your border, how then can you say its your land?
