You cannot comprehend a small writeup because of your prejudice against Obi
Jones4190:
meaning federal hight court Kano has jurisdiction to preside over Abia matters
Politics › Re: The sack of LP Candidates in Abia should not stand by DMerciful(m): 3:44pm On May 20, 2023
What his the benefit he is seeking to gain? Destroy the party he belongs to?
ejimatic:
. As to the interest of the plaintiff ,I think as long as he is a arty member and a decider in the LP primaries he can institute the case. A non party member can never be a party in the siut.
Politics › Re: The sack of LP Candidates in Abia should not stand by DMerciful(m): 3:38pm On May 20, 2023
After accusing him of doing a first by giving his personal abalysis because you know the same applies to Obi at the PEPT and would be struck out, you're not derailing
garfield1:
We are already there.the nysc dg has made a sweeping statement yesterday
Politics › Re: The sack of LP Candidates in Abia should not stand by DMerciful(m): 3:34pm On May 20, 2023
The person that took LP to court is a disgruntled former LP member and Lamidi Apapa group. What is APC business in this?
garfield1:
Section 77 says submit register 30 days before fixed primaries.it is not talking about members in the register but a simple rule, follow it and avoid sanctions.in any case, this judgment is a moral lesson.technicalities is a double edged sword,it can swing to apc today,lp tomorrow and pdp next.so stop complaining when it favours apc
Politics › Re: The sack of LP Candidates in Abia should not stand by DMerciful(m): 3:28pm On May 20, 2023
The law does not say you cannot admit new members and give waivers after 30days before election, did it?
favor914:
What jurisdiction, LP did not field a legitimate presidential candidate, he was not on the register of members, a month prior to the primaries, so he could not have been sponsored by the party, if you like, quote all the case laws.

A nullity ab initio never existed, has no jurisdiction, Labor, pikin Mumu party, they done go enter 1 chance.
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 3:13pm On May 20, 2023
The signatories are a representative of Obi, a representative of Datti and a representative of LP. No one person can sign for financial release
iammo:
Debunked by a tweet from Aisha Yesufu who claimed she is the signatory

Well I don't believe her

Financial companies used for donations are directly linked to company Obi has shares in and linked with CHAMS
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 3:09pm On May 20, 2023
Which law did he break?
SwissMass:
Peter girigory Obi just showed that he has no respect for the law, the same law he is seeking redress for his stolen mandate given to him by Igbo inside gutter in Agulu
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 3:07pm On May 20, 2023
Appeal court is a lower court?
iammo:
Apapa's arguement is that the stay of execution is from a lower court, while his judgement was served by Federal High court
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 3:04pm On May 20, 2023
This lie has been debunked long ago. Obi has nothing to do with LP finance, he is not a party to any signatory
iammo:
cool

Stay of execution untill Appeal court gives a final judgement on the matter meaning Abure still has case to answer

What Lamidi Apapa is fighting for Is administrative control of his party , Abure is fighting for financial control

Abure and Obi misappropriated $15 million dollars party funds made from donation and sales of nominations Form

LP has come to defeat the structures of criminality!
Aonkuuse:
So what are you really saying?? Base on the comparison you have done, between PDP, APC, and LP, who is more lawful in their dealings
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 2:53pm On May 20, 2023
Which court order did Obi disobey?
pquaver:
Obi disobey a law court, you support it.. Just because it doesn't favour.. No problem.. When Tinubu will do his own and u will want to tell us how rule of law is important.. we will remind u of ur support for obis disregard for rule of law..
Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Indeed Different! by DMerciful(op): 2:53pm On May 20, 2023
So you believe the structures of criminality? The court would decide if he committed forgery
Lifestone:
OP, Abure committed forgery and LP is still following him. Lol and you guy was saying that you are different

Politics › Re: Labour Party Are Looking For Mandate Without Presidential Flag Bearer by DMerciful(m): 9:55am On May 20, 2023
This case has been senttled by a court judgment that Obi was eminently qualified.
Besides, it is status bared now whether as preelection matter or post election because time for filling petition at the tribunal has passed.
Jones4190:
Labour party are looking for mandate without a presidential candidate.
let take a look at section 77 of the Electoral Act, 2022, my emphasis will be on sub section ( 3
section 77 of electoral act statete that:

(1) A political party registered under this Act shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name.

(2) Every registered political party shall maintain a register of its members in both hard and soft copy.

(3) Each political party shall make such register available to the Commission not later than 30 days before the date fixed for the party primaries, congresses or convention

By interpretation of section 77(3) of the Electoral Act, 2022, obi was still a member of PDP at the time he was sponsored by the Labour Party and was screened as one of the party’s presidential hopefuls in April 2022 while labour party might have summit it registered form to inec without obi and Yusuf names on it.

“Obi and others resigned their membership of the PDP on 26 May 2022 and joined the Labour Party the following day being 27 May 2022.

“(Labour Party) conducted its Presidential Primary on 30 May 2022 which produced (Obi) and datti as the candidate it intended to sponsor in the General Election That is to say, the said register of members must have been submitted to (INEC) on or before 30 April 2022 and obi name might have been summited by PDP.
Whereas, by the mandatory provisions of Section 77 (1) (2) and (3) of the Electoral Act 2022, a political party shall maintain a register and shall make such register available to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not later than 30 (thirty) days before the date fixed for the party primaries, congresses and convention.
conclusively this is to says that obi was not qualify to contest under labour party and labour party are looking for mandate without a presidential flag bearer.

Oshiomhole was removed as national chairman of the APC when he was suspended from his ward. Ayu was also removed as the national chairman of the PDP when he was suspended from his ward.

So, the structures of criminality thought they could remove Julius Abure following same template. The recent stay of execution order by the appeal court against the Abuja high court exparte order has removed all restraints on Abure from performing his constitutional role as the substantive national chairman of the LP. If you watch the recent body language of Apapa, you'd see a defeated man.

Another key factor that threw the Lamidi Apapa renegade group into confusion is Obi's total disregard and unrecognition of their existence, how much more having dialogs with them. Obi is focused and cannot be distracted by jokers.

LP is the vehicle for the new Nigeria that is POssible, so the youths are encouraged to register enmasse in LP especially as we are certain to retrieve our mandate at the Supreme Court.

Peace!
Politics › Re: Ganduje Laments In Leaked Audio: Tinubu, Unfair To Me For Meeting Kwankwaso by DMerciful(m): 9:05am On May 20, 2023
Tinubu will be removed this year
festacman:
Nigeria is dire need of a leadership that will make the economy more productive. President Bola Tinubu after inauguration will have four years to show a clear vision as well as good policies and programmes.

One thing I know is that President Bola Tinubu won't get 2nd term if his 1st term failed to be impressive. No amount of political realignments will save him. Recruiting Kwakwanso and sacrificing loyal allies won't save him. What will save is good performance in office. He won't be as lucky as Buhari because Nigerians especially the electorally majority youth are becoming politically aware and highly intolerant of bad leadership.
Politics › Re: The Judgement Is A Complete Waste Of Time - Otti Reacts To Purported Sack by DMerciful(m): 7:47pm On May 19, 2023
So you can file a petition against a primary after the election? Also can you file a case in kano for an election in Abia?

The court keep making a mockery of themselves
lhordspy:
I listened to Yunusa, Peter Obi's spokeperson reaction to the nullifcation earlier. He said same thing Alex Otti is repeating now.

Alex Otti is saying:

It seems Alex Otti, Labour party and Obidient in general don't understand the judgement order, legal proceeding, and the declaration of this particular judgement.

Let me explain it for you guys. This particular case was filed not by the opposition, but by a labour party member in Kano, an ex-chairman, Haruna Ibrahim . So the defence of the petitioner not having a locus standi to initiate a suit is dead on arrival. The case was filed by a member not PDP not APC. It is LP vs LP.

An aggrieved card-carrying Labour 'parry' member, Haruna Ibrahim filed the suit and tagged Labour party and INEC as the respondent. Peter Obi and Abure failed to send lawyer to represent them in court.

Alex Otti is a goner. Peter obi and Abure just fried his governorship ambition like Akara.

citygarden:
LP only play politics with emotions. They don't know the game at all. The only person cashing out of lp is obi because he know want they want to hear. He knows how to press their mum botton. He only using lp to become more popular to negotiate with the ruling party. He knows he can win the game in court.

The truth is only Igbo cannot make themselves president.

Tinubu ignore Igbo and liace with an Hausa man to become president, it is now left for Igbo to liaise with either yoruba or Hausa man to become president....

Most of the Hausa friends of mine are openly saying Igbo man is not yet ready to become president of Nigeria
