Provide proof where Atiku said if he wins the primary, Ayu will step down highchief1: if u no gree stand by your words when u never win whrb u still need us to make u win is it when u have won and no longer need us.It was atiku that used his smelling moith to say if he wins the primaries ayu will step down for the position to be ceded to south.U ppl don’t understand that it’s south that owns pdp and should be treated with care.As d whole south don Dey decamp now make we see what’s left of pdp. |

We Obidients will never allow Obi to be anybody's running mate. Never!!! flokii: That Atiku/Obi combo is no longer feasible.. not with strong man Wike in PDP will Obi cross from LP to clinch PDP VP ticket in 2027 when party faithfuls are there.. the ashaw0 politics Obi and his minions love so much can't work in PDP. Even Atiku will meet fierce resistance in PDP come 2027.. those Southern politicians in PDP are ready for him.. with Anyanwu as national secretary, nothing North can do or say without Anyanwu's nod.
The candidates I see contesting in 2027..
APC = PBAT + VP Shettima PDP = to be slugged out LP = Obi + Datti Ahmed Coalition isonu = Atiku + Amaechi or Amaechi + El-rufai (if Atiku decides not to run). |

Wike's G5 Ortom was chairman of zoning committee. Instead of zoning the presidency to the South and then to SE because SW under Obj did 8yrs, SS under GEJ did 6yrs so naturally, it should be SE, they decided to throw it open so that Wike from SS can contest. Throwing it open now gave Atiku the legitimate right to contest and he won it. Wike, having losr out started causing trouble esp because Atiku did not pick him as running mate highchief1: ok so why did they not work for pdp.what really happened. |

That tactical team, be it coalition should pick Obi as the presidential candidate. Its non-negotiable! Igbophobia: This was my view but we should shift grounds if necessary. I do not see a northerner with the clout to lockdown the north. Kwankwanso with all his arrogance couldn't garner up to 2 million votes. Atiku has been a serial contestant and has proven to be popular in the north. Atiku locks down the north while Obi would do the same for the south and middlebelt. What we are talking about isn't just getting the votes, these guys got it in 2023. but Tinubu somehow was manoeuvred to displace them. Let's forget the strategic objective of Obi presidency for now and focus on the tactical advantage of a team capable of stopping a voracious rigging machine called APC. |

2023 election wouldn't have been rigged if there was no electoral reform that brought in IREV as there wouldn't have been IREV to shutdown. INEC promised IREV was a gamechanger and that made us lose guard. 2027, whethee there is reform or not, we don't care. We will treat it 100% manual and there'll be no going to court. Everything ends on election day and any attempt to rig will lead to revolution! doncartel: The opposition parties have disappointed Nigerians. If only they had come together to campaign for electoral reforms, we would not need to invite the US and UK to help us.
The reason why Arab countries are all about royal family is because of the low strength of opposition there. The reason why European countries are so democratic is because of the high strength of the opposition there.
So the opposition parties decide the level of democracy in every country. With the current strength of the Nigerian opposition parties, we should just be ready for the Arabian system of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves.
So yes, we may need to invite the foreign powers to help us conduct our election and stop the rapid slide into dictatorship. |

Even if you repeat this a million times, nobody believes you Obiedun: Obi of all people? You overrated obi simply because of ethnic reason. This obi is empty. He lacks good knowledge of governance. His time as a governor was a colossal failure. Hospitals, schools, roads etc neglected. He was on the news a day ago telling us the amount of money he left in the treasury. The money meant for development. |

Obi as the presidential candidate of the coalition is non-negotiable Igbophobia: Atiku/Obi - PDP
We already know this. so I wonder why the coalition is delaying.
All the public decamping of some politicians is to remove opposition to rigging. What they're planning is replicate what they did in Rivers, so a strong alliance in a strong party with serious monitoring is essential.
Rigging in the south is easier, especially by politicians.
I believe that Obi polled more than 9 million votes in 2023 but was short-changed due to a weak platform. Atiku is not very adept but with Obi in the team, his weaknesses would be covered.
A four-year Atiku presidency deal would meet every aspiration of all parties - and give the people a new lease of life. Don't say it's the turn of the south because Tinubu does not believe in the south. He showed it in 2015 by opposing Jonathan and shows it today by running a Yoruba government.
To the coalition, we are waiting... Make it Atiku Obi, even though we know that on a normal day, Obi would win any free and fair election, we must not leave 2027 to chance. |

Whether electoral reforms or not, everything will be decided on election day. No going to court. Rig and D1e Jahlivesforever: Many believe the 2023 election was rigged because INEC failed to electronically transmit results as promised, and the courts ruled that electronic transmission wasn’t mandatory. Despite this, none of the key opposition leaders—Peter Obi (Labour Party), Atiku Abubakar (PDP), or even Nasir El-Rufai (ex-APC)—seem to be aggressively demanding electoral reforms.
Is it because they’ve given up after losing in court?
Why do you think none of them are leading a strong push for reforms to prevent future rigging?
