Ok now, what is stopping Nigeria from restructuring?
DeepThroater:
Idiot, without him introducing it by fiat subsequent northerners won't have had a clue .

And may I remind you that the disastrous military coup that ushered this nonsense led to military rule up to 1979!

A typical military officer sees a pyramid power structure and so this is why Gowon, Murtala (PBUH for slaughtering osus) and Obasanjo saw it as adequate for a military dictatorship.

Why Obi? What about Atiku?
famouscargo4u:
When i tell people that Obi can not win, they think í say so because í do not like him. Obi can't get this number anywhere.

Where will Tinubu votes come from?
lhordspy:
If you are antagonising Tinubu. You are fighting 5 wars at Five different front.

You are fighting:
*APC vast political structures. Spearheaded by Political strategist Bola Tinubu

*APC women which involves grassroot politics. Spearheaded by 21different states First Ladies

*APC youth which involves unrelenting couragrous young Nigerians. Spearheaded by Seyi Tinubu.

* Non-political but concern Nigerian like me, who want the betterment of this nation.

* God Almighty.

How can you win?
Politics › Re: Putting To Rest Once And For All The Issue Of If Ironsi Abolished Regionalism by DMerciful(m): 6:46am On Dec 12, 2022
You're arguing blindly. How did Ironsi ensure the system remained even in death?
DeepThroater:
OSU, the regional boundaries are not an issue you dense cricket .

It was the system in place that your Zikist decree 34 destroyed.

A system whereby regions/states had full control of their resources

Be wise! Clean mess for how many years?
alanto:
gidgiddy see guy, you guys have done too much damage to Nigeria, rest while the big boys clean up your mess... Giving the country back to you will cancel all its progress
Politics › Re: Putting To Rest Once And For All The Issue Of If Ironsi Abolished Regionalism by DMerciful(m): 6:40am On Dec 12, 2022
So you believe a man has the power to change the political landscape of Nigeria in just 6 months? Why wasn't the resource control revert back to the region when he was killed?
Raf4:
Aguyi Ironsi ruled for just 6months and the 1st and only assignment he executed was the satanic decree 34 that snatched all the resources and autonomy from the individual regions and given all to a thieving central govt, thereby creating a non progressive unitary govt.
The nonsense you're defending here is that Ironsi was not allowed to live long enough to execute that destructive decree to the fullest.
@OP, apart from that terrible decree 34 can u mention any single thing Ironsi did throughout his 6 months rule in Nigeria?

Obi will go from church to church, deal with it.
femisplash:
Tinubu is not jumping from mosque to mosque he is meeting with Muslim leaders in a public hall, not going from mosque to mosque to stir up religious sentiments. Tinubu meeting with Muslim leaders is same as CAN leadership he met with last month.

Eniitankorede:
You are a joker. Nobody can wash the truth away. Tinubu built lagos. Obi destroyed Ansmbra. Atiku embezzled federal money snd sold our assets for peanuts. These are facts.

Jack500:
Don't worry, you will be surprised
Politics › Re: 2023: Over 2 Million People To Vote In Borno by DMerciful(m): 6:16pm On Dec 11, 2022
Nigerians are not fo0ls, why would they thumbprint for a party that made them the poverty capital of the world?
Benwallt:
APC believed in the thumbprints of Nigerians than Buhari and BVAS. Nigerians have chosen to plant their thumbprints massively for APC. There is nothing BVAS can do about it.
Politics › Re: 2023: Over 2 Million People To Vote In Borno by DMerciful(m): 6:13pm On Dec 11, 2022
BVAS will not allow Borno produce more than 600k votes. Where will they get the biometrics from?
Jack500:
grin
I hope the shock doesn't send you into comma, Tinubu is not getting less than 65% of Borno votes
Politics › Re: 2023: Over 2 Million People To Vote In Borno by DMerciful(m): 6:11pm On Dec 11, 2022
How did GEJ win in 2011 with 10 million votes?
trendo360:
If you think APC is evil enough to destroy Nigeria you all won't be here shouting Obi and LP when you know he stands no chance of winning a single LG in the North where majority of the votes will be coming out ...v

Let's call a spade a spade, the north has more voting power than the south.
Politics › Re: 2023: Over 2 Million People To Vote In Borno by DMerciful(m): 6:10pm On Dec 11, 2022
There's no longer incident forms! BVAS has been introduced but urchins still liken the next election to previous elections. You guys will learn when its too late!
adioolayi:
IDP camps or Super Camp votes na for rulling party...know this and know peace.

GEJ couldn't believe the figures from Borno in 2015...

Atiku and PDP couldn't believe same in 2019..

Nothing will change, that's some huge votes ahead for Tinubu and Shettima..

It is what it is.

Abdul05:
The yiibos will never receive sympathy from other Nigerians due to their behaviour. ..

Once you criticise obi they will exploit all means necessary to disrespect you with rancour. .

Seeing this behaviour, l believe many Nigerians will not go along with obi. .

Even at that did Abiola became president? NO!
JASONjnr:
There can never be unity in APC...

The same fate ticket alone has destroyed the chances.....

Also, the candidate is incoherent...

Lastly, the flagbearer is working with only Yorubas while pushing the north away and not giving them the chances to be part of his campaign...

Tinubu thought that the election will put him forward and he will receive massive ovation the exact way Abiola was received...But he miscalculated... Abiola had good relationship and good rapport with the power brokers in the extreme north and he listened and carried them along....

But Tinubu is tribal and senile.....

But you're campaigning for a corrupt sick fraudulent man Tinubu?
OsunOriginal:
Wish an incompetent man success? I'm a patriotic Nigerian and therefore won't do that. My job is to run him down by all means to save my country.
Politics › Re: What Electoral Benefit Is Obi Expecting From A Speech At Chatham House? by DMerciful(m): 4:22pm On Dec 10, 2022
Are you genuinely showing a better way for Obi to campaign because you want him to succeed or you're being mischievous?
OsunOriginal:
For Tinubu, while the outing at Chatham House might not necessarily have any impact on his already successful campaign and acceptability across the country, it has however proved the naysayers wrong about his competence, health, etc. It sent a powerful nerve-calming message to many around the world about Tinubu, the most likely person to become the next president of Nigeria.

For Obi, however, many are still wondering how a speech at Chatham House would turn the table in his favor in critical regions like NW, NE, SW, and even SS. Most of the voters don't give a damn about the media talks and speech delivery obsession by the elites who are less than 10% of the voting population. Obi and his handlers should probably invest their time and resources in productive ventures and activities that can add real value to his electioneering efforts.

How a speech at Chatham House would make his VP win his Tundun Wada ward in Zaria is what I don't know

Look how the acclaimed respectful people talk...so disrespectful
Britishpea:
Pathetic lot. So greeting which you said it is normal in Yoruba land is now eye service. Lack of proper education is synonymous to nyamiris.

And what type of English is ‘old old elder’ elder is elder. What’s old elder? You didn’t even stop there you went ahead to disgrace your generation by saying old old elder!
Politics › Re: Ifeoma Nwankwo Knees To Greet Tinubu At Chatham House (Photos) by DMerciful(m): 7:49am On Dec 10, 2022
Isn't it ironic to say you're from a respectful culture yet call people ape?
Gbagura:
You can't understand what you don't practice. We greet those we deem respectful and worthy not people from a culture that kicks their parents from bed. We don't shake our parents here like you do in the east. Yorùbá will continue to embrace the culture of respects. We don't behave like apes. Lol
