Wake up and smell the coffee, everybody is suffering in Nigeria.

The status quo can no longer be allowed to remain.

Obi is what Nigeria needs at a time like this
Ttalk:
Just like you are making Tinubu popular with daily insults you and your IPOB hate filled with no manners rain daily on Tinubu.

When we told you that your hate will backfire you thought it was a joke.

Now the Nortn will take revenge on your 7 years of abuse of northerners and calling their illustrious son a cloned man. You will receive the same treatment from the South West for calling our leaders right from Awolowo, to MKO to Tinubu names.

You are faced with the reality you now wanted to hide under the region to claim Yoruba Christian support, dead on arrival, go and vote for you Pandora in peace and stop attaching Yoruba to your failed presidential project
Politics › Re: Estimated 2023 election results for apc,pdp,lp by DMerciful(m): 7:57pm On Dec 04, 2022
Dont take it personal, look at the 2015 and 2019 elections...the margin of APC even though very low, is progressively on the decline in SW
Ttalk:
You are a lair just like your Peter Obi. Yoruba are so rational minded that they don't behave like you do.

None of those you mentioned will ever ask their congregation to vite any candidate.

You are not Yoruba than me neither are you more Yoruba Christian than me. Whatever your thought revolves in your brain and your brain only

The average Yoruba will look at past record and capacity with no emotion that is making you reason like a kindergarten
Politics › Re: Estimated 2023 election results for apc,pdp,lp by DMerciful(m): 7:45pm On Dec 04, 2022
Reality will dawn on you guys. The reason the Igbos did not influence much in 2015 and 2019 is because they weren't passionate about those elections
Ttalk:
That's the lie you tell to yourselves in the moon gathering in the village

Igbos makes the second largest population after the indigenes in all region. Let that sink in!

I live in Canada, it works!

You can't develop a country by paying people for unproductivity

Why do you think Nigerians in diaspora vacation in Nigeria? You think it is all about family? lol

Politics › Re: Throwback Photo Of MKO Abiola And Kudirat Inspecting A Building Project by DMerciful(m): 7:03pm On Dec 04, 2022
Igbos are technically the highest voting block in Nigeria
AlafinofEnugu:
Let Igbo use that voting power to vote obi and u will see how irrelevant ur votes are
Alimosho local government vote beats the whole of south east

Obi will win Edo State, you can take this to the bank

Politics › Re: Obi-datti Please Drop The Idea Of Hourly Rate Payment For Workers by DMerciful(m): 6:50pm On Dec 04, 2022
You cannot develop a society to world-class standards without competition and not everybody wins in a competitive economy.

You're talking about people exhausting their sick days while still being sick, how about we improve our healthcare system to make people fit quickly?

If it is working in major economies, why can't it work in Nigeria? Why are you resisting positive change? Go to government offices and see how people get paid for gisting 70% of the time
onumadu:
Some of you are just irredeemable, but some of us who know (and have seen) better owe it a duty to save innocent Nigerians in Nigeria.
When you say that your slaving system "moved entire populations from poverty to a strong middle class country", you don't say the number of homelessness in such system compared with Nigeria that is supposed to be underdeveloped.
You should simply provide counter argument/evidence rather than insult. You provided none.
Ain't gat time for kids. cool

Why do you guys akways fight reforms? Why do you always insist on the status quo even as the nation continues to retrogress!
favor914:
What of pensions, it will be paid weekly also? Nigeria that is struggling to pay monthly will start paying weekly like the United States?

With all due respect, quite obvious this clown is clueless.
Politics › Re: "I Owe No One Apology For Commending Buhari": Wike To PDP Members by DMerciful(m): 6:07pm On Dec 04, 2022
You're not the only one. Many decisions of the Nigerian state has been taken based on hatred for Igbos and thats why Nigeria continue to retrogress. To hold someone down, you've to be there, in the same vein, Nigeria holding Igbos down has to put Nigeria in a place of stagnation to do that.
Aufbauh:
Yessoooo Wike my man.

The only PDP presidential candidate I could have considered supporting because of the way he decisively dealt with the ipob shenanigans in Rivers state & his courage to stand up to issues.

If you say he has won all politicians, there's always a time to be defeated by the underdog.
Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria
TheChameleon:
cool

Bola Tinubu.. Next President of Nigeria

The Ambassadors of US, UK, France, South Africa, China and India all went to this man's private residence to pay homage.

And you think he bribed them all? grin

That's how some flat heads stupidly said Tinubu won APC Primaries because he spent dollars.

Do you know the President + Vice President + Senate President + Party Chairman all fought against him and he flogged them all? Not separately ooo.... COMBINED.

Who has fought OBJ and remained relevant?

I pray he's healthy enough and God grants him the strength & wisdom.

This is the man to fix Nigeria - Asiwaju, Jagaban, Conqueror of All Okoros Dead or Alive

Bubu is a total failure. By far the worst president in Nigeria history
tesppidd:
Borrow money and do projects is 1 million percent commendable.

We have had governments that borrowed money and was sharing it. Sharing billions for prayers, sharing billions for consultancy, sharing billions for jewelry.

No way you gon twist this, Buhari did very very well in Infrastructure.

Most people dont know because they're not true but propaganda. These are not the promises of APC! APC failed woefully so they're co-opting private companies as their achievements
commoditiesnig:
Good job @ Lexylaw40 in bringing these information to our knowledge.. most people don't know the FG did this much.

As someone rightly posted, FG has done very well in infrastructure, bailout, salary payment, Social intervention programs.. but poorly in insecurity (not being proactive), lack of regular Power supply, Economy and some lopsided appointments.

In all PMB govt has performed slightly better than average.
Politics › Re: Buhari's ACHIVMENTS IN 8 YEARS ( PICTURES) by DMerciful(m): 10:28am On Nov 30, 2022
Projects with 100% borrowed money that other govts would pay. Credit should go to whoever pays. Many of these projects cannot even pay for themselves till eternity cos they were done based on tribal or regional sentiments vs sound feasibility studies
tesppidd:
My honest assessment of the Buhari Presidency.

Good Sides.

1. Projects and Infrastructure delivery.
2. Nation wide incentive schemes like trader money and N power.
3. Payments of salaries, gratuities and pension.

Bad Sides.

1. Couldn't tackle insecurity.
2. Couldn't salvage the economy which was a global problem. Nonetheless he is the President and must take responsibility.
3. Nepotism. Buhari's regime has been very very very nepotistic.
Politics › Re: Buhari's ACHIVMENTS IN 8 YEARS ( PICTURES) by DMerciful(m): 10:24am On Nov 30, 2022
Celebrating mediocrity! Bubu failed woefully
tesppidd:
Not to forget the bail outs he gave many states to pay salaries as soon as he was sworn in in 2015.

Sentiments aside, Buhari tried.

He was marred by armed struggles in the North and South East,

COVID 19 problems across the world,

Niger Delta Avengers early in his tenure.

sreamsense:
What is not working in Nigeria than lazy people like you who refuse to be part of the solution and not just complainants? Who is deceiving you that obi will be the solution you are looking for? Is the governance ruled by mouth? Obi doesn't have enough experience and track record of performance to rule this country at moment, stop packaging trial and error for us. You can't see any development in Nigeria because of hatred in your heart towards Buhari, APC and Tinubu. Because you don't hate obi, you can't see his weaknesses and his incompetence. Go and work hard legitimately, no government will solve all your problems

We're not going to tell you to vote Obi since you're not tired of the current sorry state of Nigeria.

You found your voters card for a reason
Keepamsafe:
Hello All.
I finally found my voters card after misplacing it for about 6 months now.
My sister found it in the family old shelf. Im not sure how I left it there.

But, there’s even a bigger problem now. I’m confused on who to vote for. Im pragmatic and open to any choice as im not sentimental. Im about the progress of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Among the three forerunner;

Tinubu

Peter Obi

Atiku.

I sincerely don’t know who should have my vote.

Hopefully, Nairalanders can help me with a better choice and reason to vote for the said choice.

PS: I will only vote for a progressive candidate that is all and about the progression of NIGERIA.

Hope this was your position when GEJ and Mama Peace were vehemently insulted.

Besides, the younga was stating a fact!
FreeStuffsNG:
Democracy is not part of insulting your mother sir. Democracy does not give license to criminal malicious defamations. Many hiding behind monikers here to make criminal malicious defamations too will someday be picked up and prosecuted.

As we type here, the social media bill to fundamentally stop these toxic and dangerous recklessness on social media platforms is before the British parliament.

Nowhere in the world is society built to allow any reckless behaviour go unchallenged. That ill-trained boy has grown to the age of accountability for his recklessness and lack of self control so should face the music. Only a foolish child brings disgrace to his parents. He is a foolish boy that needs to be corrected especially by the law. They should not stop at him, all the other reckless accursed youths who insult and disgrace their parents and those old enough to be their parents/grandparents too should be arrested and prosecuted.

Platforms must be prosecuted too, especially that employee and owner of the platform with the responsibility to remove toxic contents need to be arrested and prosecuted too.

Nobody deserves to dump his bad behaviour and lack of home training on others whether offline or online. Most of the youths are already destroyed with curses because giving honour to anyone old enough to be your parent comes with a promise that it shall be well with you.
It is already not well with him and other youths who have ever mocked or insulted a parent online. It is not a curse, it is God's word and it never returns void.

This is what Pastor Oyedepo meant.

Do you like the way Nigeria is going? You're glorifying the old ways, is this the kind of country you wanna leave for future generations? You think you're doing anybody?
sreamsense:
Keep asking question with no answer; that's what is called structure that LP don't have. If LP also have governor or local government chairmen, they can as well make that boast for their domains. He knows people he governs more than you, obi can only get about 5000 votes similar to Osun/Ekiti experience because Obi can't win any local goverment. All local government chairmen will also want to deliver their respective domains. Structure will do half of the work without campaigning, unfortunately; Obi doesn't have any structure in place except social medial structure based on sentimental noise
