Anyways, lets just restructure the country to full federalism but preferably confederation.
Make everybody rest!
PureFace1:

Igbo from Delta, fair game.

Till now South West remain the economy and education power house of Nigeria just like during the regional government that even Ibadan was the most developed place in Nigeria.

Business / Re: Naira Loses ₦‎79 To Dollar by DMerciful(m): 6:37am On Apr 30
The machinery for industrial production are imported so has huge impact on the cost of production. Many raw materials and fnished products are also imported.

Unless you obey Obi and move the country from consumption to production
Lumarstone:
Why do our economic mangers attached much value on dollars in this country when we know that it's not our official currency?

I'm Igbo from Delta
PureFace1:

You are not even Igbo but enjoying pitting Igbo and Yoruba against each other
Politics / Re: Ibadan Lady Defends Her City From Mockery By Other Yorubas (picture) by DMerciful(m): 6:10am On Apr 30
That was the problem. You guys became lazy and we overtook you in the late 50s and 60s and you had to gangup with the rest of Nigeria to fight Biafra out of envy
PureFace1:

Nobody is competing with a tribe of cannibals that just came out of the bush recently and we civilized.

Your inferiority complex is making you delusional.

One Yoruba sub tribe like Oyo, Ijebu , Ijesha, egba is more successful than Igbo not to even talk of the whole Yoruba.

Without Yoruba majority of you would still be dwelling in the bush and on top of trees, we were the one that taught you how to write and read and civilized you even your educated and successful people like Nkojo Iweala and Chinua Achebe completed their education in Yoruba land and in the same Ibadan you insult.

Politics / Re: President Tinubu Performs BRILLIANTLY In Discussion At World Economic Forum (vd) by DMerciful(m): 4:50am On Apr 30
He was actually carrying those then
OAFMods:
But we have seen you n your obidient ipob tribesmen claim Tinubu is being disgrace among the International community. You claim he cannot speak English that he carries wee-wee n poo-poo bag inside his Agbada so what is going on here.

Politics / Re: I pity Youths that are selling themselves To Yahaya Bello by DMerciful(m): 2:57am On Apr 30
When Tinubu appointed him, there was nationwide uproar that he is not qualified but the certificate forger insisted.

Now breeze don blow, fowl yansh don open. And this goes for most Tinubu appointees.and himself; very incompetent!

Master strategist with NO strategy grin

Politics / Re: Gabriel Suswan: Tinubu’s Ministers Lack Capacity, They Have No Value by DMerciful(m): 2:47am On Apr 30
This is what agbados always do. Compare tragedies as if they rigged Tinubu in to maintain the status quo

Thank you Gabriel Suswam for your observations.

Now tell us how competent you were as Benue governor for 8 years. Let us start from there.
Politics / Re: Gabriel Suswan: Tinubu’s Ministers Lack Capacity, They Have No Value by DMerciful(m): 2:45am On Apr 30
Its Tinubu ministers. If you put people with proven track record of success, they wouldn't wanna tarnish their image
SoNature:
It's not about Tinubu's ministers; it's about the attitude of Nigerians towards public service. Nigerians don't come to public offices to serve - they come to lazy about, gossip and loot.
Politics / Re: Tinubu Is Simply A Big Mistake, Stop Defending A Failure Worse Than Buhari by DMerciful(m): 2:38am On Apr 30
He lacks capacity and integrity to govern Nigeria
vanitybutiwanti:
I don't believe he's a mistake, he's doing his best, talk Is cheap and it's easy to seat on a high horse to criticize. Do you know how big Nigeria is? Do you know the kind of information the President is inundated with daily.

Your unity started in the 40s when Igbos started dominating everywhere.

Before then the British forced you to unite under colonial Nigeria else the troublesome kings will be sent on exile
chopnaira:

So we united after the kiriji war to compete with a tribe unknown to us. When did ibos? Start moving of their hinterlands to the SW, aside the ones sold into slavery that ended up in Freetown.
Politics / Re: President Tinubu Performs BRILLIANTLY In Discussion At World Economic Forum (vd) by DMerciful(m): 2:31am On Apr 30
I'm not even from SE. Truth is you guys use IPOB when you run out of points.

Fuel at N1000 per liter is still not available.
$ is 1400 inspite of defending the naira. There is still subsidy. Minimum wage has not changed from what Bubu left it.

There is still high insecurity everywhere in Nigeria and Fulani herdsmen are coming back.

You're just idolizing a complete failure called Tinubu
Reflect7:

IPOB opinion doesn't count.

Or do you see Simon Ekpa here?

Go and relate with your 'Plime Millister' and leave us regular Nigerians alone.

Stop trying to dress a chimpazee! Tinubu is extremely incompetent and far worse than the incompetent Buhari
Reflect7:

GROW UP.

Tinubu is not supposed to be an 'Obama', to titillate you with flowery, feel-good garbage.

He's a focused technocrat that is clearly driven to succeed, and he speaks like it.

That's why he received wide applause.

Yorubas are not one historically. The kiriji wars attest to that.

You guys became 'one' recently to be able to compete against the Igbos. Else, you stand no chance. Infact, nobody stand any chnace
PureFace1:

You are just an ignoramus that think himself an intellectual.

Yoruba sub tribes from all over Yoruba land gathered to found Ibadan, it started as a war camp and it is not a no man's land, it belong to Yoruba.
Politics / Re: Ibadan Lady Defends Her City From Mockery By Other Yorubas (picture) by DMerciful(m): 2:14am On Apr 30
Always competing with Igbos wey pass una. Instead of competing genuinely, you guys result to tribalism

The wall does not cover the entire landmatk beach frontline. The coastal road does not need to start inside Lagos
opamoses1:

The Atlantic wall is $6 Billion dollars. Have you ever seen $100 in your life?
Politics / Re: So Much Ado and Unnecessary Noise Over Landmark Beach by DMerciful(m): 2:04am On Apr 30
Does it need to pass through there or even start from there?
Obagreatdatoye:

You are very dumb....so because it benefits minute people...the populace should be denied of the big gain?..
Politics / Re: So Much Ado and Unnecessary Noise Over Landmark Beach by DMerciful(m): 2:02am On Apr 30
The problem with you guys is that you're willing to take oppression but want others to take it as well. Igbos do not behave that way. They make a lot of noise if something affects them. If something affects you and you decide to be silent about it, thats your business.

That coastal road does not need to start from inside Lagos but outskirts. Tinubu is on a mission and its visible even to the blind
muhammaduyusufu:
So after all the victim mentality, crying and making unnecessary noise. Demolition is still taking place on the land mark beach.

Ironically, there is another beach (Mami Chula lifestyle) owned by Bolaji Ariyo that's also affected and several Oniru properties, but it appears landmark's wailing was the loudest.

Even if the highway did not enforce its right of way, the landmark beach would still have been demolished to make way for Eko Atlantic phase 2.

In addition, the only reason there is a landmark beach it's current location is because of of the $6 Billion Atlantic wall built by the Tinubu and Fashola administration by Hi-tech. The Atlantic wall (blue arrow) can also be seen in the picture below.

Let Oyo do their own and Lagos do their own as is being done. Why every SW state wanna shook mouth in Lagos that belongs to all Nigerians equally? grin
LegendHero:
Good. Most SW states already declared last week in every September for Yoruba day.

Even in 2023, same thing happened. Nice that Lagos is going to activate it officially this year. Ogun state should follow asap too.

This is for Lagosians indigenes grin
FreeStuffsNG:
This is a laudable way to further promote the Yoruba cultural brand that's already a global brand beyond the boundaries of a multiethnic society like Nigeria.

This week will further attract our kith and kin in Yoruba communities domiciled in the diaspora , Ghana, Togo, Benin, Caribbean, North and South American countries to invest in Nigeria.
