Did you see any Fulani there who are the actual terrorists? Did you see any Muslim here? You guys are shortsighted BlakKluKluxKlan: The more reason he was lucky to get away with a life and not a death sentence.
Considering all the unprintable words and insults he has hulled at the Yoruba, he would've been handed a death sentence if those in charge of the case and whose tribe he has derided were to be Fulani or Ibo.

Kanu fled because he was attacked by the army. If he is needed, the legal thing to do is extradition. You can't kidnap someone from another country to court. Its illegal but because its an Igbo man, they bend the law Ikaeniyan0: What evidence did the Govt get illegally?
The supreme court only said he should face what he's being prosecuted for before he fled Nigeria |

Fulanis are using Yorubas to prevent the breakup of Nigeria. Yorubas will regret this shortsightedness in generations to come 11doubledee: And did you conduct any poll to ascertain that igbos are united in the struggle for his freedom or secession? Stop trying to point accusing fingers when you are supposed to be looking inwards. I hope you know 8 of the last 10yrs was ruled by buhari who is hausa/fulani,attorney General same,Binta Nyarko (hausa/fulani) the former judge from kastina on the matter doesn't sound Yoruba to me. Personally I'd prefer we all go our separate ways but until then stop trying to demonise the Yorubas when some of your lots don't really know what they want. But if you still disagree, why not form an alliance with the north if you believe they will make a better friend than the yorubas. |

Yorubas and Igbos should not be in same country if you want that country to work. Why can't Yorubas get this? You cannot get evidence illegally and expect it to stand in court. The Supreme Court wants Kanu convicted, thats why it ignored his kidnap from Kenya Ikaeniyan0: The Appeal court didn't look into the terrorism charges, they only freed him because of how he was arrested and brought back to Nigeria |

The Supreme Court sent it back because they want him to be convicted irrespective of the evidence and illegality of extraordinary rendition Ikaeniyan0: He was given the chance to defend himself at the FHC, he refused, he has nothing to present at the appeal court because he failed to defend himself at the FHC |

Did you do a poll or referendum to know that the majority are not fighting for him,? You expect the politicians to fight for him when Kanu is a threat to their political survival? Common! Yorubas and Igbos don't agree on a lot of things so the best for both nationalities is to be in separate countries. Why is Yorubas sabotaging what will benefit both nationalities in the long run? 11doubledee: The truth is what you are shying away from, agreed for a minute Yorubas are the bad ones and hausas are the true friends of the igbos. President pulling the string is Yoruba. Attorney General pushing the trial is Yoruba . Prosecuting lawyer is Yoruba. Judge is Yoruba.

Why is this not happening in Ghana, Benin Republic, Niger Republic? The conditions necessary for terrorism to thrive in the North are prevalent. 20 million out of school children, sharia, blasphemy laws, sympathathizers like Gumi and northen elites. Let us put culpability where it belongs...Northern Nigeria Vision101: What we are fighting is the international terror groups. Bokoharam, ISWAP etc are their branches. The west especially American is their number one enemy. Any mention of America attracts them more. The move in through our porous boarders. Wike's G5 member Orthom was chairman of zoning committee who threw the ticket open in order not to zone it to South East. Wike had it coming alright Biodun556: 1. Zoning of presidency to South: Wike was among the contestants in the PDP presidential primary election. Other PDP presidential candidates in the primary election who are northerners withdraw at the last minute and declared support for Atiku, claiming that there is nothing like zoning in PDP after Buhari spent 8 years. Wike felt betrayed and insisted that it was time for the south to produce president.
2.Vice president ticket: after Wike was robbed of the PDP presidential ticket, he was promised VP ticket as compensation. Surprisingly, Okowa, the former governor of Delta State was declared as Atiku vice presidential candidate.
3. PDP National Chairman seat: since Wike could not get presidential and VP ticket, he believed that his candidate should be PDP National Chairman and must be from the South. Again, northern politicians denied him, and gave the party national chairman to a Northerner.
How can northerners become presidential candidate and then produce the national chairman again?
Then battle line was drawn
Interestingly, Wike has never changed political party. He has been a PDP member all his life |

Its not called politics. Makinde thought that they were fighting Atiku and Tambuwal but when they left for ADC, Wike continued. Normally, you would have expected Wike to calm down since his enemies are gone but it became clear to Makinde that Wike has a different agenda other than Atiku which is to make sure PDP is incapable of challenging Tinubu yarimo: it's called politics no permanent friend but permanent interest . Nothing wrong in politics |
