Those pushing for an end to SARS are the southern thieves called Yahoo boys. These bastards have tarnished Nigeria's image beyond fix. Much of northern Nigeria has no problem with SARS cos our youth are more law-abiding. I urge Nigerians to resist this attempt to dismantle a major bullwork against Yahoo. Sometimes law enforcement agents must be brutal to contain the viruses called Yahoo boys.
The government should consider restricting internet access including on social media and forums like this one. Cos that's where disinformation gets fertile ground.
It was a good move that Nigerian ISPs no longer allow access to tor browser.

Well, you are wrong my friend. These guys charge a flat $70 for a laptop regardless of the weight. For other goods, they charge $3.5/pound. I think the best option right now is ImpexWorldwide. They can ship a laptop for less than $30, and can even ship before you pay. You can pick up at their Lagos office or they will send it to you through the motor parks. Your items are normally in Nigeria within 7 days, no more. They also do not charge for customs clearance. The main problem with this company is when it comes to consolidation. They will charge you an additional $7 for every package to be included in a consolidation even if that package is worth less than a dollar.
I have used then for like two years now I overall, I will give them a score of 8/10.

If you are, then contact me through the emails provided at the end of that post. However, N1 million is kind of too small to invest in three businesses, especially those with high returns. Mine is such. What you should consider is how much money N1 million will make you in a month, not insisting on three different businesses. Suppose you invest in three businesses that gives you a combined profit of N50K a month. If another single business will yield N100K, then obviously, the single one is better than the three. Spreading your money into different businesses increases the risk of losses more than it decreases.

If the prospects of this business are as good as you claim why have you not gone to the bank to take a loan?

Since the family house is worth N4million I would suggest you adopt a Sale and Leaseback option :- Put it in the market as a distress sale at a price of N3million - Use 500K from the sales proceed to pay rent to the buyer for 1 year, invest N1.5 million in your business then keep N1 million for contingencies.

Thereafter you may use part of the returns of N15 million to repurchase the family house or a new and bigger one

Thanks for the suggestion. The problem with taking a loan is that it is forbidden by my faith. I would rather wait ten years to save the amount I need than take a loan. If I wanted a loan I would have got it long ago.

Your second suggestion is even better. Finding a buyer with the present economic state is very difficult. Besides I do not think my family will stand for the gossip and publicity that will ensure should it get known that our house has been sold.

I still think finding an investor is the best option. I think if enough people saw this post, someone will be interested. Many people have money lying around in the bank even though they would want to invest it in something promising. The country's economy is so bad, investing in any new venture in Nigeria is almost guaranteed to fail, or at least witness very slow growth.

Thank you anyway for the suggestion. I can save up to N1.5 million from my freelancing work, but it will take almost two years to get there. This will be my last option if I can't find an investor. But I think I will.

To succeed online, you need patience, perseverance, and a willingness to learn new things. Also stick to one thing and don't keep hopping from niche to niche just because you see other people making it there. You'll end up wasting too much time without achieving much.
