And about the abdominal influenza thingy, well, it's not a flu like one may have with the kind that affects the human respiratory system (nose, lungs and throat).

This one affects the intestines (large and small) and causes abdominal pains/cramps, diarrhoea, fever and vomiting.

It's known more appropriately as Viral Gastroenteritis. Abdominal influenza is just another way to term it.

Stomach flu is kinda the easiest layman definition for it.

The mistake is he used "a plural subject with a singular verb" "parents is plural and gives is singular"

So it's "parents give us" or "parent gives us"

Remember when dealing with verb words ending with "s" are regarded as singular

The cover is much thicker and heavier than what you are assuming from that picture and most importantly, they are sealed. The thieves usually come with equipment to break the seal.

Saw it, still too light and yes, for those round ones, a 17 years old can, by making use of thick ropes and Iron, it can be removed, by two people about that age

The third picture shows workmen trying to cut through the area around the manhole and the fourth picture shows the warning tape (to warn motorists about the danger) before the manhole. There's no cover.

yes, view that second pix again, and zoom into manhole, you will see how it was constructed to hold the cover, that's what am talking about,
