I don't know which section of the country this happened or even when it happened. But I no certainly it is not in the East or the West. https://youtube.com/shorts/vPcoUlYsigo?si=z9ENtHTEG9OqE8lx |
djseanjohn77:Nigerian army soldiers are not up to 70,000 and of this, less than 35000 are infantry. |
The ignorance of the author of this article is shocking. Nigeria doesn't possess the capabilities to rescue those soldiers even if it wanted to. Our military isn't as capable as you think. Our soldiers are just little more than boys scouts in uniform. |
The military needs to start being proactive. Locate the camps of the terrorists and target them. Hoping to keep repelling attacks is only giving the terrorists more room to re-strategize and plot out your area of weaknesses. |
When Dr Paul Enenche went to Pakistan and actually held a crusade na dat day I confirm say him own dey him body. The crowd turn out was so massive the government of Pakistan had to shut the crusade down the next day. There is a vibrant Dunamis church there now.

For him to deny and give a rebuttal to the report, means he is somewhere where internet is available. Because it was just yesterday or so that the detailed expose of Matawalle's involvement with Turji got posted by Sahara reporters. His audio message was posted on a platform and dessiminated from there. Who are the people behind that platform? They know where Turji is. If the DSS wasn't too bothered about replacing policemen as escorts to VIPs, perhaps they'd have spared men to solve this debacle. |
This senator has watched too many movies. The Nigerian army can't even handle the insurgency at home is it Burkina Faso far away it can handle? We have less than 5 C-130s. Burkina Faso just ceased one and I doubt if the remaining are fully functional. So how will Nigeria then be able to transport troops to Burkina Faso? Portugal has denied that any Nigerian Airforce plane was scheduled for maintenance in their country so exactly why did Nigeria send that plane to Burkina Faso? I'll hazard a guess as to what happened. France was pressing Tinubu to send troops to do an insertion in a country of choice. France wanted to see if Nigeria could pull that off. However, taking a propeller driven plane for a covert mission , was very stupid. Radars everywhere will pick the plane. The threat of anti-air guns convinced the pilot to land that plane. |
Kobojunkie:Why you too like to dey off your brain before you post? |
Gotocourt:You need someone on the ground close to the terrorists to plant the laser. A laser designator keeps a laser shining on the target for the sensors on the bomb to pick up and home towards. Modern bombing has gone a step ahead of that now as most missiles now are created for 'fire and forget' functionality in place. |
obeegee:I wonder |
Nigeria is a disgrace. Where will you see the US army making its men available to guard any musician? Which Nigerian army commander made his men available to guard an ordinary musician? What kind of nonsense is this? Psquare left Jos in bad blood. They really don't have positive vibes in that city. The backup dancers they started with that they used and dumped, their Alma Mata, St. Murumba College Jos which was very instrumental in making its hall available for psquare to shoot their early videos free of charge (I should know, I was there as a student), not once have psquare remembered the school that was there for them. 2face still visits MSG in Makurdi and relates very well with the students. Psquare are users essentially. They will find Jos a cold indifferent embrace. |
Who has time to waste watching the embarrassment the Nigerian national team is? No one cares to watch those failures. |
ImIfeyinwaWj:What is the bigger picture? |
"Osatimehin, however, noted that the organisation was ready to provide protection for the important personalities, as his men had been offering such services long before the latest instruction." What is wrong with the DG of the forest guards? Your job is to guard the forests. What business do you have with VIPs? |
Is he indirectly saying he is more qualified for the presidency than Tinubu? |
Imagine! Government that hasn't in anyway contributed to my life now wants to dip its hands into my bank account? Am I the one who pushed Amoda into cocaine? |
The author of this article is mad. Obasanjo went to Aso Rock Chapel for a Christmas event. What is Tinubu, a Muslim supposed to do? And hasn't general Yakubu Gowon eaten enough Christmas? What is he doing there? Plateau people! Make una tell una man say him don too tay for dis side. |
So what's your point? If more Muslims have been killed so what? If Muslims are okay killing each other that's their business! Christians should not be exposed to that and we are saying we have had enough. |
Truths9ja:English offend you? Which kind murder be dis? |
CorperKola:When they say money na water what do you think they mean? There is a reason why Nigeria struggles to meet its OPEC approved production volumes. Crude bunkering on a large scale is a primary reason. A governor of Rivers state will surely have a cut of the pie. Imagine one who has no scruples and has been on that seat for 8 years. We are talking several hundred millions of dollars paid into escrow accounts before the ship even arrives Nigeria to steal crude. There's a reason behind Wike's arrogance. |
BarrElChapo:And Tonye Cole hates Wike with the ferocity of the sun. |
richmond500:They better teach him o. His sme sme is too irritating. |
Let's consider this. Nigerians engage in businesses that defy logical explanation. Why is hoarding, a deliberate attempt to manipulate prices artificially, even a business in the first place? Hoarding needlessly creates scarcity so that prices can rise. The true economic value of perishable products is not known and people are forced to pay through the nose for items that would have been far cheaper if the normal equilibrium of demand and supply is maintained. I have no sympathies for anyone who has lost money doing produce business. They are the reason why Nigerians have suffered over the years. There is no reason why local rice shot up in price the way it did. The activities of greedy Nigerians pushed up the prices. I pray that Dangote takes an interest in the rice value chain soon. Make everybody get sense by force. |
malali:I disagree with you here. Flag hopping is very common in the maritime industry worldwide. Nigeria is not an exception. There's very little most governments can do about it. |
On the face of it, this should be a genius political move. If fubara plays it right, he becomes Tinubu's point man in River's state. This will effectively clip Wike's wings. But fubara lacks gravitas and chutzpah. The kind of thing that made Tinubu seek out Wike. The APC machinery in River's state is Fubara's to control now. Does he have the ability? Will Wike control the machinery of both the APC or the PDP? If he does, then Fubara's decamping is useless. |
What do you mean by dullest and laziest goat? Do you expect it to solve differential calculus or Newtonian physics for you? |
Fulani terrorists kill 17 locals and dispossess them of their land. That should be the correct heading. |
Pardons are the prerogative of the president. The supreme court overstepped it's bounds here. |
The crazy thing is that transport fares will still rise this season. Nigerians enjoy nothing better than ripping each other off. |
Primate don cast. Person that his prophesies have never come through. |
See finishing. Fubara is the weakest governor in the history of this country. |
After a 17.5 trillion naira pipeline protection contract? |

. it locks a location for an aircraft to come and blow the living daylight of terrorists.
