Yep. The US wasn't going to back down. |
I strongly believe that God created this country just for the purpose of his entertainment. Because nothing really makes sense in this country. The country only exists to serve as a joke. But the problem is no one is laughing. We woke up this morning to news that troops from Niger republic in 4 gun trucks drove into Nigerian territory. The Nigerian defence headquarters came up with the excuse that the soldiers from Niger just came to Nigeria to fetch water. Yes, you read that right. Soldiers from Niger entered Nigeria to fetch water. That's the excuse our DHQ came up with. My brain has been paining me since I read that. Like? How now? Who uses gun trucks to go and fetch water? Instead of the DHQ to admit the truth that Nigeria's border with Niger is so porous that soldiers from that side can just stroll into the country fully armed and at leisure, they came up with the dumbest excuse imaginable. That wasn't enough. In the previous week, our minister of defense, maybe after suffering from a sunstroke, opened his la bouche to say that the reason why Nigeria cannot bomb bandits in the forests is because the forests are too thick. I almost wailed in hopelessness when I read that. Where did Tinubu drag such a dumb person from to make minister of defense? In the week before that, the president called the security chiefs for a meeting. It was a meeting of sorts if you call the president sleeping and snoring through the briefing a meeting. We saw the pictures. That man is tired and simply lacks the drive and desire to take the fight to terrorists. He is seeing his 2027 ambitions go up in smoke and he doesn't like how it is making him purge endlessly. Ofcourse a week will never go by if the senate president Akpabio doesn't drop his timeless gems of wisdom. I can't help but wonder if Akpabio ever studied comedy in school. He appears very impressive at it. While berating senators who demanded more concrete action from the president, Akpabio made it known that Tinubu hadn't slept for three days! I'm sure when Tinubu himself heard that on the news he wondered which Tinubu it was they were talking about because it certainly couldn't be him. They say Nnamdi Kanu has made himself quite comfortable in the Sokoto prison and the inmates look forward to his lectures every evening. Apparently, Kanu is quite charismatic from what I gather. The sultan of Sokoto appears quite impressed and has offered to hold a turbaning ceremony for Nnamdi Kanu. He told governor Alex Otti this much. Can an Emir be in prison? Asking for a friend. Wike has been unusually quiet lately but we know he can never be so for long. The week will not end if Wike doesn't cause another drama somewhere. He will rather die than stay out of trouble. I pray God gives me the grace to not care about anything the way Tinubu doesn't care. It will be healthier. But for now, all I can do is join God to laugh at the comedy Nigeria is. |
Tinubu is not acting. Na ribadu dey feel the heat. |
symbianDON:O save us this tired worn out tripe. Are the global manipulators behind the incompetence of the Nigerian government too? |
Those drones are the key to putting this Fulani scourge in check. Two will certainly not be enough. |
BeardedMeat:You know what I find painful? That the Nigerian defense ministry didn't even put in effort to lie. Is that how poorly they rate us? If you must lie to me, put in effort behind it. Haba! |
Port8080:Becoming? Oga niaja no get level. |
Who goes to fetch water with a gun truck? |
Ribadu is the most incompetent NSA Nigeria has ever had. |
Last week, Southern governors held a meeting. On the face of it, it appeared as though they were just strategizing and discussing ways to better cooperate for the betterment of their people. This week, Northern governors are doing the same. The claim is that they are meeting to encourage unity and strategies to better the lives of their people. Hogwash. The United States has clearly made it known that they aren't playing footsie with their intention to come and clean up Nigeria's backyard. And like I predicted would happen a couple of weeks ago, kidnapping by Fulani has increased as a result. Now guess why the southern leaders met? They met because from all available indication, the bandits are beginning to move southward to escape US military strikes. In Cross River today, it was reported that bandits had kidnapped some people. I can't immediately verify this. One voice though has been silent lately. The voice of sheikh gumi. It appears he has seen the way the wind is blowing. I'm pretty sure his recent trip to Turkey was to go and arrange some comfortable accommodation for himself. That dude knows the US is going to put a torch to his as(s) and will really love nothing better than to avoid that smoke. He will lie low for the next few weeks. |
Streetinvestor2:Na wetin the SK wey you dey smoke tell you be dat? |
School girls were kidnapped in the north, the sultan didn't call for a meeting. Churches were invaded and people were kidnapped, the sultan didn't call for a meeting. Now the US has pressured Tinubu to sack his useless defence chiefs and also pressured Nigeria to use super Tucano to go after Fulani terrorists with massive hits recorded. The sultan is now calling for a meeting. Why are they panicking? Matawalle's relationship with bandits have remained murky. Some allege that he maintains links with them still. The DSS does a thorough background check on everyone appointed to sensitive positions at the national level. But they don't make decisions for the president. Tinubu would have known about Matawalle's alleged links with terrorists. Why did he still appoint him as minister of state for defence? |
If this is true then Tinubu is done with taking shi(t) from northern politicians. Nigeria finally used the Super Tucano Buhari bought and dumped today. A good number of terrorists were sent up to queue for their share of 72 virgins today. Reports from our correspondent in hell says that there is a scarcity of virgins in that side and that they didn't anticipate that plenty goat fuc(kers) will be dispatched pronto since the US started pressuring the Nigerian army to act. |
Fulani dey price market. Dem go soon pay. |
Anither563:The US does not and has never needed the permission of the Nigerian government. When a US citizen was kidnapped in Niger state during Buhari's first term, the US performed a clinical insertion of 15 Delta force soldiers flown into Nigeria in a V22 Osprey. Reaper and predator drones were flying above constantly to provide real time updates on the target area. The US were able to kill the kidnappers and freed their man. It was as they had cleared Nigerian airspace when leaving, that they called Buratai to inform him that they'd come to clean up some shi(t) in his backyard. |
Jakumo:The present pentagon leaks like a sieve. And it borders on irresponsibility and laziness not to look for information that is readily available. When the pentagon drafted plans to present to Donald Trump for a Nigerian invasion, within minutes those plans were flying through the net. The New York times is a verifiable source for a lot of information from the pentagon plus a number of other sources. And there are websites that keep a keen eye on monitoring deployments of US military assets. You can get information right now for example, on the number, names and capabilities of US naval assets currently off the coast of Venezuela. It is known for a fact that if Maduro does not step down this week, the US will invade Venezuela starting off with a wave of precision bombing runs against Venezuelan command and control centres. If you are lazy to source for information, not everyone is. |
There is no immediate plan for American drones to bomb terrorist targets in Nigeria. Currently, the US is moving assets towards Venezuela and Trump is being careful so that no negative blow back arises from that. His secretary of defense is currently being investigated for war crimes by both democratic and republican senators and Congress men. Trump will want that heat to die down before thinking about Nigeria. |
Everyone knows that the Nigerian security forces are behind the illegal bunkering of crude in the Niger delta. Let me ask you a question and please be honest with yourself. Look at the kind of houses our military officers have in Abuja and all over the country. Which other country's military officers can afford to build such houses? Only Nigeria! A past army COAS was able to buy up a 400 building estate in Dubai. Come on! |
A jet will crash in this event. Our political class copy every other thing from the West but refuse to copy improved quality and standard of life that the West gives its people. What do we need an airshow for? |
Ancecoker:They said beautiful women not beautiful witches |
seunmsg:Tompolo was not leader of MEND? Are you serious? Here's a Wikipedia screenshot below. I guess number 3 on the list doesn't look like Tompolo or is Wikipedia lying too?
|
Reno Omokri was the spokesman of a terrorist organisation. He was the spokesman of MEND. MEND killed hundreds of Nigerian soldiers and naval officers. This kind of person has no business being an ambassador. Reno Omokri is such a snake that Tompolo, yes the same Tompolo who was the head of MEND and who got a federal government pipeline protection contract worth over 150 billion naira, doesn't even want to associate with him anymore. Reno is a sellout and a snake. |
First off, I am not Igbo. They have an uncanny gift of sticking their foot in their mouth or when they aren't doing that, they are blasting off their feet or kneecapping themselves. But when we see spectres of injustice, we speak out. I'll open your eyes to a very deep realisation and you will have a better understanding of the Nigerian state. I'll ask this. What organisation was behind the first terror bombing in Nigeria? Was it Boko Haram? Was it ISWAP? Follow me on a journey. It was a cold morning of October 1st 2010. Nigerians had woke up that morning not particularly enthusiastic for the day as they should being citizens of a blessed country like Nigeria. Most observed the public holiday as they normally did. Wives used the holiday to do some quick shopping for the house and husbands delighted to take a break from the grind to catch up with the neighbourhood folks over a few chilled bottles of beer. That was to change in very short order. At around 11:19am, word started spreading. A car bomb had exploded in Abuja. Nigeria just experienced its first terror bombing. But there was no Boko Haram as we know it today, there was no ISWAP. So who or what organisation could have done this? What organisation could have violated the innocence of Nigerians and Nigeria in such a brutal way? Meet MEND. That bombing was carried out by the Movement of Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND. Who was MEND's spokesperson? Reno Omokri or as he chose to be called then, Wendell Simlin, was allegedly their spokesman. IPOB did not do a quarter of what MEND did in Nigeria. The records are available. Yet MEND and its leaders got heavily rewarded. The 17.5 trillion naira pipeline protection contract that Atiku complained about recently, is part of the deal reached to settle MEND. Tompolo is a huge beneficiary of that contract. It was given to his company after all. Tompolo was the leader of MEND. He had a number of deputies; General Boyloaf being one of them. Reno Omokri however was the one in charge of MEND's public communications. Every attack MEND carried out Omokri would announce it before it happens and then acknowledge its success and claim responsibility for MEND. Hundreds of Nigerian security forces died at the hands of MEND. Nigeria's crude oil output got cut down by over 75%. Foreign expatriates were targeted for kidnapping. Has IPOB done any of that? Why did MEND get rewarded and IPOB get labelled a terrorist group? Why is Omokri rewarded with an ambassadorship but Kanu has to rot in Sokoto? This is Nigerian justice. It calls for deep thought. |
This old man should go and park somewhere. Trump doesn't care about Nigeria one bit. |
Why are you summoning ALL of them? They are soldiers. They respond to an order from their commanding officer. Who is that officer? All this beating around the bush doesn't help. |
If dem give person that kind slap twice even him mother no go recognise am for 30 years. |
How do you keep rescuing kidnapped victims but nothing ever happens to the attackers? So the terrorists just decided to give their lives to Christ and allow the girls go? |
glolomoh:Sahara reporters was not the source of the leak. An American reporter did. But it is not like the US needs to keep an ISR operation secret. Where the f(u)ck are the terrorists going to run to? Once you have fu(c)ked around enough that your activities warrant the US sending an ISR plane to take a good look at your pretty ass, your finding out is undeniably going to go badly for you. |
Why does it appear as if Wike is hungry to eat a bullet? Him believe say him jazz too sure abi na wetin? This one don dey approach level where the whole village go cook for am. Hope say him go fit finish am |
holluwai:To hell? Una don dey GO for over 23 years now and Una never reach. Where una dey go? Na only mad man no get destination but him still dey waka. |
