I got my IELTS since March(LWRS,6.5 all) , am a single, Age- 32, HND in Quantity survey (construction estimator -2234), ECA is still processing . Hello Hotstepper. Pls I am interested in my wife giving birth in Canada. We applied for visit visa to the USA and we were denied visa. Now I'm looking at Canada. Though I have a relative offering to give me an invitation letter to Canada but I want to try on my own. We have a son already that is 2 yrs old and my wife is about 14 weeks gone,but I want to do everything on time. Note also,I'm in the pool for express entry for PR so I really want to be sincere about everything. And I see this as a chance to reduce the cumbersome worries of filing for the child if peradventure we birth before getting PR

Hello all. I have read this thread thoroughly. I am interested in my wife birthing in Canada. She's 4 months already and her EDD is sometime in June. I've heard about medicals thing and all that. We have a son that will be 2yrs in January but I was thinking of planning a holiday with myself,my son and my wife. My question is when is the best time to apply so we can be there on time before she births and that will not raise suspicions at the airport

Hello House. Please I need advice. I applied for sinp OID and I was sent a mail to provide additional information and it asked me for settlement funds of about can$19000. But what baffles me is that during the application I used two fixed deposit certificates from two different banks. One in the tone of #3.4 million naira which is fixed for a year till November 2017 and the other is to liquidate end of November, 2016 which is about 3 million too. Is it because of this second one they ask for settlement fund? And if am to send, do I still need to include the one still running to another one to complete the 19000 as that #3,4 is about 15000? Please I need ur response as I have 40 days to respond to them.

Hello House. My sinp application is ready,but I was hoping for ee. Now that oid is open,can I apply to it and have my application processed on time? I read in another forum that oid is paper based,don't know how true that is? But when I went to Saskatchewan site,I saw the difference in processing time between oid and ee to be about 2 months. I had a hard luck as it reached the max 5000 before it got to my turn in the waiting room. Painful. I entered the waiting room 1:25pm as i was denied access 1:20pm,yet i was like 86437 in the waiting room. People wan really go this Canada oo

You shouldnt have any problem translating the pages, it was easy peasy when i tried, once you open 'my Quebec project' it will pop-up at the top right corner of your screen, click on translate or betterstill, click the option arrow, you will be able to open the pages in english by default. finally, check your crome brower settings if all these fails

Hi all,

The journey that started last year May has finally come to an end. We finally landed in Canada yesterday. Glory to God as we are now officially Permanent Residents of Canada. Nothing much was asked except if we have new family members and if we have any criminal record. Even POF was not asked.

Want to wish everyone with their applications still in process all the best. For those that are still awaiting ITA and PNP, God will perfect it and finally for those who are contemplating on starting this Canadian PR journey, please start as soon as you can, you have got nothing much to lose.

I will still be on the forum to answer any questions you may have but I won't be able to answer any job related questions as we are only doing short landing. We will be travelling back home in the next few weeks as we are not planning to move to Canada permanently until the next 2 years.

i intend to apply for SINP when next it opens. i could only score 413 points after using the crs tool. my main problem now is that my work experience is not in demand even though my degree is in mechanical engineering and i was able to gather up to 70points for because my brother lives there. is it advisable for me to still apply?

A gift deed alone with all relevant proofs should suffice. Used that and to the glory of God, I have my visa and CoPR.[/quote]

Its from a church recognised by the Federal Government as it carries the emblem and i registered at the localgovernment registry,do i need to swear an affidavit to attest to its authencity?
