SmartProf: House of Assembly member(s) that have seen open bullion vans to cash out from APC will cash out. When the election result appears and favours Obaseki, they will return back to base. That's looters & opportunists economic wisdom.
Funny how the whole South East can't bring out a proper presidential candidate that can win votes in other parts of the country. Na only noise una sabi.
Goodmarlian: biafran soldier my ass how old is he? If he truly fought in the war he should be older than this even the child soldiers should be in their 70s or 80s freedom is coming. a war that was fought 60 years ago...oga collect your bride and go once we get independence we shall put you all in your place...
Useless woman, I didn't even see any abuse in that video. All these useless politicians are trying to change our culture to English culture, very soon men will be marrying men in Nigeria. Compare this video to what our parents did to us as children when we did something wrong. Thunder fire this yeye woman.
These Igbo people sef, una no de shame? Nobody wants to associate with you yet you are trying to attach by force. You people have 5 states, why don't you go and develop those 5 states so that your people will come home and form your so called Biafra? Instead you are busy trying to be brothers with tribes that hate you with a passion. Abeg try get small pride and shame.
proeast: For over 50 years now, the Igbos have endured a lot of embarrassments and slurs thrown at them by the Ikwerre clan. Despite all these unwarranted and undeserved attacks by the Ikwerre, Igbos saw them as a misguided brother who was brainwashed by enemies.
At a point, it became shocking at how they will go to extreme lengths to concoct lies and fallacies just to sabotage and humiliate us, while we kept extending the olive branch with the hope that they will realize their folly but it has become obvious that they're now misconstruing that for weakness. It has now become expedient for us Igbos to wepu obi na azu, ma were iwe mee ndi iberibe a ezigbo ihe ha n'agaghi echefu echefu.
Anyi eriala nsi, ma nara kwa nkpari n'aka ndi uchu a n'enweghi ebe ha ruru anyi.
So here are the 7 reasons why we Igbos must act now for posterity sake.
1. Abandoned property When the war ended in 1970, the Igbos were totally down in every aspect. Our economy was wiped out. Millions dead. Our cities destroyed. In essence, we were at our lowest nadir in recorded history and had nothing to fall back on. Now, this was the time, the Ikwerres decided to attack us for no just cause. They declared Igbo properties abandoned and took them! As Igbos were returning back, they were shocked to discover that Ikwerres (with the support of Nigerian government that was still looking ways to humilate us further) had taken over their properties. Such a thing has never happened anywhere before. Even the Northerners we fought against didn't seize our properties in their cities and neither the Yorubas or anywhere else but it was the Ikwerres that did such evil against Igbos. Till today, people's hard earned properties were never returned and they never appologized.
It is only the worst enemy without conscience that could do this.
But his name is Rotimi, which means that he is Yoruba. Anyway, we the South South people would be very happy to have another president only a few years after Goodluck Jonathan. We feel sorry for our neighbours in the South East who will never produce a president. Hahahaha.
IkwerrePikin: The truth is you need the North votes just like you need the South votes to become President. But it may surprise you that the northern cabals do not trust Yoruba (Tinubu, Amotekun) and Igbo (Biafra agitation) with the presidency in today Nigeria.
The North have realized that, the Niger deltans are the best people to form political alliances with as they are the bedrock of the country’s resources, and can be more trusted as seen with the administration of Goodluck Jonathan.
For the South West: The northern cabals have been fighting tinubu secretly and may bring up his corrupt cases by next year to destroy his presidential ambition.
For the South East: The northern cabals have brought up corrupt cases of top politicians destroying their image, and also claim they have not built bridges across the country to produce president as Nigeria is not turn by turn limited.
For the South South: The northern cabals have settled the avengers in this region, they have also created good relationship with Goodluck Jonathan former President, they have also engage the traditional rulers over their threats and also freed top warlords like Tompolo and others all for peace between the North and Niger delta.
Why the North Wants Rotimi Amaechi
- In the South, Amaechi is more loved by Buhari, El Rufai and top northern cabals, he is also from the Niger delta region which the North trust more than the South West (Tinubu/Amotekun) and South East (Biafra agitation) with power today.
- With Amaechi as the preferred candidate for the Northern cabals who will deliver the North for him in a presidential election, he will also win majority votes in the South South his home region and South East where people see him as Igbo which Amaechi has also stated even though his Ikwerre people have a different view.
- Some may argue that the past President Goodluck Jonathan is from same region with Amaechi, but the truth is, Even Yaradua from same Kastina with Buhari did not prevent Buhari from becoming the President.
Honestly, Nigerians need a young blood in the person of Rotimi Amaechi who has great leadership records till date.

Whiteangel1234: ■THE NAME IS IGBO, THE LAND IS IGBO, IT IS UBIAJA BUT THEY CALL IT ESAN IN EDO STATE
Esan is not a recognised name of any ethnic group, its an insultive word meaning people that ran away, the name is Ubiaja. On Sunday 2 August 2020 we shall teach this contentious issue with a few IDU indigenes in the diaspora.
Bini or Igodomigodo, all we want is for all those who want to be free to be set free. Every colonial or racist construct will be dismantled and the oppressed set free.
I wish to state categorically that my respect for the Oba and throne of Bini is unwavering but wherever knowledge leads us we go. It has led us to Ubiaja (Esan) and on Sunday we shall be there.

Handsomecole: A mild drama ensued at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri as the Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu was held hostage by supporters who insisted he must declare his readiness to run for President in 2023 before leaving the airport.
The Chief Whip of the Senate and former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu made his first entrance to the South-East, almost two months after his release from the Kuje custodial centre.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu arrived the Domestic Wing of the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri at exactly, 1:32 pm via a private jet and was making his way out of the arrival when he was accosted by thousands of supporters. The visibly elated crowd made it nearly impossible for the former Governor to access his vehicle as they insisted he must declare his interest before they allow him leave.
The Senator, however waved at his supporters and asked them to in his words “Only thank God for me” before he was whisked into a waiting vehicle.
The office of the Chief Whip of the Senate had earlier issued a directive appealing to well-wishers and supporters to respect the COVID-19 regulations and avoid gatherings to celebrate his homecoming, a directive which they clearly were not ready to adhere to.
The drama continued as his convoy arrived Abia state as thousands of his supporters defied the rain to welcome him.
Shouts of “OUK our President” rent the air while his convoy made its way through the streets.
Meanwhile, All Progressives Congress (APC) Abia state chapter, in a statement signed by the publicity secretary Comrade Benedict Godson has welcomed the former Governor to the state.
The statement reads as follows “Today, our leader makes a triumphant entry into Abia, as a journey towards reclaiming our state begins In our part of the world. Today, after the much-failed efforts made to curse a man whom God has already blessed, that man is coming in to take his rightful place as our leader. He’s the APC leader in the South East of Nigeria, he’s Abia State political leader no matter the party you belong and he’s the man whom everybody gives the respect as Abia Original leader.
In Another statement released by the Movement for the Emancipation of Igbo People and signed by its National Coordinator Kelechi Okoye, the organization declared that “For those who sent Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to jail because of 2023, we shall use the same man to teach them a lesson about the resilience of the Igbo man.
We shall make sure he declares and runs for President come 2023 and we shall put them to eternal shame. In the coming months the whole nation will hear the voice of the Igbo people and it will be loud, clear and deafening”
The Senator is yet to make a statement to confirm or deny if he he will be joining the Presidential race in 2023, insisting he is still having a sober reflection on the events of the past months.
Some of these people call themselves politicians but they don't understand Nigerian politics. How can you call a man like Oshe baby a drowning man when he can be named a minister tomorrow morning?
Alawe: [img][/img]Chibuike Amaechi Is My Name, I am Igbo From Ikwere And Ikwere People Are Igbo
My father loved one Yoruba lawyer called Rotimi. He dreamed to make me be like that smart lawyer, Rotimi. My name Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi is Igbo and Yoruba only. I took the Yoruba name in admiration of the lawyer ...but my birth name are only Igbo names Chibuike Amaechi. I am an igbo man. Let no one deny me my Igbo heritage, birthright, ancestry, please! Unless you want to be sectional and deny the igbo people. I have made my self clear to National assembly, repeatedly, that I, Chibuike Amaechi from Ikwerre, am an igbo man. Our people are Igbo people.
