my number one complaint about girls today is they want to have their cake and eat it too

LEt me explain............... Alot of Naija girls want the guys to be a traditional naija man...that is pay for everything, work hard make money and spoil them........but they dont want to be traditional naija women...that is take care of house hold, cook and clean..............if you want the guy to be a traditional man, you should be a traditional woman...if you want to be a yankee girl, then the guy should be allowed to drop all those pay everyghing for the girl traditions....am I wrong!!

lol ...believe me if they do , it would be a waste of time to call.....I remember calling the customer service line for my internet when I was in Naija.........the girl kept saying "sah please move your modem" I said ok I have moved it and it is still not working....she will be quiet for a few minutes and say the same thing again!!!

Finally I just dropped the phone....A robot would have been more helpful!

In my dating life in Yankee, I have realized that there are three different dating options:

1) Nigerian Girls
2) American Girls/or Non Naija
3) Nigerian American

Let me break it down.

If you date a Nigerian girl the rules are simple, when you go out, you spend money on her, you don't let her pay for anything, but when you get home, she will take care of things in the house....the separation of duties are clear.

American girl: This is a shared relationship, you both generally share the duties. Sometimes you pay, and other times she does. Sometimes you cook, and other times she does. its a 50/50 relationship

Nigerian american girl is a special case, they are basically american girls with Nigerian parents, so they know a little bit of the nigerian culture. They will want the best of both worlds. What this means is, they want you to be a traditional Nigerian man (pay for everything) but when it comes to doing things in the house they want to be american girls!! dis one na 80/20 relationship!

Has anyone else noticed this?!
