Phones / Re: Any Issue With Installing Two Same Application On My Android? by DokitaDave(m): 5:41pm On Dec 24, 2016
Hello,

Compliment!

You won't be able to install another Facebook Lite application on thesame android phone outrightly. If you try to, once you get to Google Playstore, you'll only see the "update" or "open" icon on that app.

However, you can download an application called "Parallel Space" on Google Playstore. That application allows you to duplicate any android application on your phone without interference. With that app, you can have two Facebook applications, WhatsApp, and the rest.

Goodluck.

Merry Christmas and an amazing new year in waiting.

Yes, you can. However, note that you must pass all relevant subjects in one sitting.

Goodluck!

Thanks alot
Really appreciate your contribution

But I'll stick with the infinix note 3 pro. It's a great device.
Its advantage over every other one is that it's got a great (maybe not so but at least it has) customer service in Nigeria.
I am also thinking of getting the Infinix Note 3 Pro but I don't think it's in Nigeria yet.

Some online tech websites put the expected cost between N70,000 and N75,000.

Latest development

18:22 04/11/2016

The following candidates listed should submit a clean and clear copy of the “O” level results that was logged-in during the University of Ibadan 2016/2017 screening exercise. This is important as the previously submitted document(s) was blurred and unclear. Candidates who do not submit a clear copy latest Tuesday Nov 8 stand a risk of being removed from the 2016/2017 Admission process.

Kindly send a scanned copy of your document(s) by email to ugadmissions@ui.edu.ng with the following title
Complain Documents/Surname/Faculty e.g Complain Documents/Adeola/Social Sciences

Please note that this statement in no way validates that the candidates will be recommended for admission in University of Ibadan.

See the names here: http://ui.edu.ng/news/candidates-with-blurred-and-unclear-20162017-admission-screening-documents

But really, some Nigerians are naive. What's wrong with Saraki to have sent a birthday cake to Sani - his colleague in the upper chamber?

The gift was from the Senate President and not the Senate.

Its not true. I just contacted a close family friend who works in UI, and she said its not true. Any news as regards the admission will definitely be posted on their website. So dispel the rumour and still be on the lookout anyway, cos its close. Am anxiously waiting too.
Thanks so much. The waiting continues then...lol

Hello everyone.

Someone told me the merit list is out and pasted at the "admin." block of the school.

I think UI always put the names of those given admission on the website.

So, I am not sure if my source was right after all.

From my online search, I found out that LARIS means Department of Library and Archival Studies.

Any student on the thread can confirm this.

oau's pre degree form registration has closed since 29th of september, or do you have any website indicating that their pre degree form is still on sale?
But that is not correct. Application for OAU Predegree programme was extended twice and it will now end October 28, 2016.

Am glad you scaled through. Congrats on crossing the cutoff hurdle. Wish you success as they release the admission list.

Thank you so much ma!

You were a huge part of the motivation and I really appreciate this.

Congratulations too. Your daughter's score is well above the cut-off mark of the course she is aspiring for.

I am very optimistic the admission list will meet our expectations.

Ok man, so what happens when one failed to meet the merit point but meet the ELDS? Can be admitted via merit list?
Just like I stated earlier, If you are from any of the states UI designates as its ELDS (which I am not sure about), then, you will be admitted.

guys pls am new here, wel i av checked d cut off mark on ui portal but wat i dnt understand is ELDS and the DBS u jst mentioned, pls can u tel me everytin i nid to knw abt those concepts
I think you are mixing up two entirely different things.

BDS - Bachelors of Dental Surgery. Aspirants refer to Dentistry and Dental Surgery as BDS most times.

ELDS - Educationally Less Disadvantaged States. I am not sure of those states that fall under this category for UI. However, for a school like OAU, some states outside outside the south western region are classified as ELDS e.g Kogi, Kwara, Anambra and the likes.

I am with you brother. I pray you'll make it in. Let us remain optimistic and prayerful.

No catchments cut offs? Ui oooh!

This merit law cut off amazes me. I never thought it'd be below 70 considering the candidates that chose the course... I already rendered myself useless with my 67.5. Thankful to God that I scaled through the first hurdle.

My only prayer is to make the admission list. AMEN.
UI is one of the federal schools without catchment areas. Unlike OAU, UNILAG and the rest.

@shabib @dokitadave

guys how is it ova there?
Its a mixed feeling for me I must honestly confess.

Glory to almighty God. I scaled through and now expecting the admission list.

But for my fellow BDS aspirants, I understand some of you (most especially those outside the ELDS) did not meet up with the cut-off mark and it is a great concern to me.

My joy would have known no bounds if we all scaled through. However, God's perfect plan sometimes looks silly and bad to human calculations.

I encourage you not to give up on your pursuit and dream. Like I have always told myself, if he wants you to study Dentistry and at UI, no matter what, you'll achieve that.

Stay strong brothers!!!

But lets hope and pray for now....thats d best we can do.

But i knw this policy wont last for long. I'm pretty sure
LOL... But the 50-50 scheme of UNILAG is more busty than that of UI. Using UNILAG's to assess my results, I will be close to 70.

So, I think UI's cut-off marks would be lower.

Sir, you are wrong and no more information from me on this until maybe after the cut-off marks are released. wink

Last year, results were released on the 15th September and the cut-off marks released on September 25. (10 days)

I think the cut-off marks would be out next week. I can't wait... lipsrsealed

Your range is too large, bro. Reduce it.
Mine is between 60 - 64. I also have a friend that's within that range. BDS aspirants.
Hmmm... With these mega scores I am seeing, I am beginning to think that we have too many 'books' going for BDS this year. God has always been in charge anyway, so I trust Him.

You want me to slim fit it? I'll : 61.5 - 66.0

I hope that is better... grin

Bro, I am really very sorry that I won't say my exact score here, but I will post the range: 60 - 66

Moreover, I have seen two other guys somewhere else going for BDS and you have a better score than they do. I don't know if you know any other BDS candidates too.
