My brother, with us women it’s ALWAYS complicated. She could be ready or not ready but the deciding factor is always “is he the right man?.”

I think the things that confuse her outside of love, outside of being ready, is the “is he right for her “ question. That’s what’s happening here.

To start with, what has politicians got to do with my comments or even the post? It baffles me how most people are so quick to inject politicians into almost every happenings, while turning a blind eye to purge themselves of their wicked, corrupt and selfish nature first.

Secondly, your comment is illogical, nonsensical and holds no water. So, because some politicians are living large in prison, we should turn a blind eye to administrative porosity and show of total disregard for our correctional system?

Even if we should go by your hearsay, Mr. Minister of Information, these politicians don't come online to post videos of themselves living large while still in prison.

There was also Ahmed Salihijo, former head of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) fired along with his board for alleged corruption. Then there was Halima Shehu, former head of NSIPA who claimed to have transferred 44 billion naira agency funds to private accounts. Then there was Betta Edu who couldn't wait to win the Nobel Prize in early stage stealing.

Why do these young ones believe their call to public service is a call to be stinking corrupt?

To Yayaha Adoza Bello, HABA! This is too much. For aspiring criminals, NEVER, EVER, EVER, use public funds to pay your children's school fees, buy them properties or cars or marry them wives. Don't spend bribe money on your family members. Do not use your own hands to curse your innocent children. You can let the curse remain with you.

We have seen cases of children of politicians dying in accidents in supercars purchased for them by their parents. We have seen the child of a politician jumping to his death from the penthouse his father bought for him. We have also seen children fighting over properties when their fathers pass away.

Please steal and use your loot for yourself. If you love your family, you'd keep your crimes and proceeds far from them. Criminality destroys families.

The whole penitentiary system needs an overhaul. Prison is not a work house or a boarding house. Redress is more important than punishment. Rape should be settled and not punished with a jail term. If you are wealthy you pay more and if you are poor you pay something that will dent you substantially and you wear the tag as well and payment should go to victim with government as broker

I know that the "Romance Section" is the appropriate section for my post but I feel I will be able to get mature pieces of advice here.

Here goes my gist;
I am a lady in my mid-twenties and in my final year at one of the Universities in Nigeria. It happens that I have never been in any relationship because I've been fleeing from premarital sex and chasing a path of sexual purity. My decision to flee has never been propelled or fueled by religion but morals, safety from STDs, and peace of mind.

I have met many guys who wanted to be in a relationship with me but I turned them down because I knew none of them would want to be in a "sexless relationship".
However, I met one recently and he seems to be really interested in me, and vice versa. He wants a relationship with me, and I do too but I am not ready to engage in premarital sex.

Sex seems to be the bane of romantic relationships these days and I'm afraid no one wants to be in a " sexless relationship".
Am I being too rigid or uptight concerning the issue of not having sex in a relationship? I feel tempted to lower my guard on this aspect.

I need mature advice, please

Dear Op,

I must commend you for your stance regarding premarital sex. However, while it is unfortunate that sex seems to be the bane of most relationships these days, this does not rule out the fact that there are still some guys who wouldn't mind towing that path with you.

You should discuss it with him and If he says "NO" count it all joy and move on.

Reasonable take. I will never defend corrupt practices but also the news came out recently that Abia was owing 24 months salary (you can confirm this yourself with a search) Is it possible these people are collecting what is being owed?

I personally did my internship in 2018(not in Abia, but these payment issues cut across ) and I am still being owed years after and not just me , most of my colleagues. We have written numerous letters and even have a WhatsApp group till date chasing payments. Still nothing!

Of course most of us are not in the country and lots had to take loans to "japa" and also most of the value of money owed has been degraded i.e let's say 400 k owed 5 years ago even when paid does not have the same value.

If I get alert at the moment, I will count it as what is being owed!
Let them come out with the full story and not something for the headlines.

If owed salaries are to be paid,most times, they are paid once. Except this news is fabricated, a government paying a backlog of owed salaries knows when it is paying such.

Yet this same set of doctors will be clamouring about how corrupt and rotten the government is.

Some people are just so wicked, selfish and greedy that they do not mind having the world all to themselves without minding how it would affect others.
