Akposy:
Ewa agoyin (beans), homemade bread, dodo, ponmo and fried tilapia fish!

I had to recreate my Lagos state memory here.
As Chef Prestonn decided to mess with our salivary gland, you decided to finish the job to the latter.

Well done Chef Akposy, @ Chef Prestonn and others who constantly update this thread with beautiful dishes. You guys rock!

P.S
Chef Akposy, this your "ponmo" soak stew well

What is the superstitious belief behind the abandonment of the building close to the foot of the Zuma Rock in Niger State?

Why should an edifice like this be left to rot away?

If you are familiar with the belief or the reason behind the abandonment, kindly share.

Seriously though, you inspire me, guy. I'm planning to relocate to another state this year. And there I plan to start a little small scale farming. Threads like yours are hella inspiring.

Let me see... There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, there's a cooking stove and we make use of other kitchen utensils when cooking, which makes life easier.

There's a broom, a vacuum cleaner, and there's an iron to iron clothes.

The rest it's nothing to worry about.

So what do you mean when you say doing house chores with nails isn't easyhuh
huh huh

The first time I tried it with eyelashes , I wasn't feeling too comfortable with it especially doing house chores . To wash my eyes was another problem.

People doing fashion are trying o , I like my natural self , I'm free to do anything with my hands and my eyes are also free .
cheesy grin
They are really trying. It's not easy honestly

I don't fix nails, can't relate. Sorry.
Nails are beautiful though. I am yet to understand the rationale behind fixing eyelashes. Personally, I conceive it to be irrelevant in beautifying oneself as a lady.

I’ve given up on acrylics and the rest. I spend a lot of money only to take it off after a week, the discomfort is too much… I can’t use my computer or even wear a fitted denim pant embarassed
Exactly! The discomfort outweighs the beauty of having them on.

Not as painful as sleeping with "just plaited Ghana weaving" cry cry lipsrsealed
I'm used to it.
Though not the extra long nails, I will say average and I eat (okele), make my princess hair, do house chores, at times do laundry with hands, drive and ofcourse bathe. I'm used to it.
It's no big deal. It's like my own nails.
Waoh! I guess the length matters too

Ladies in the house, how do you cope with washing the dishes, cooking and other things with fixed nails?

It's not easy at all.

Spending hours and money making them done yet ending up being "handicapped".

Is it really worth it?
