Ethiopian is good.. their airline is super standard. Vaccinated passengers don't need covid test to board.
But immigration might ask you show a recent negative pcr test, so just have it as back up.
Also make sure you have your Day 2 lateral flow test booked

Good morning house. Pls I have a question, do I need to hold pounds or dollars in cash when travelling? Is it compulsory I hold cash with me? This PTA of a thing is confusing pls.

May God's name be praised. I picked up my passport today at VI TLS.

Applied to 4 schools and got offers from them: Coventry, London Metropolitan University (offers in 2 courses), Middlesex University and Glasgow Caledonian University. Paid deposit to Middlesex as I got their offer 3 days after applying (October 7). I did 3 pre-CAS interviews and I was proud of my performance but was denied CAS because of my study gap (7 years). Applied for refund of 4500 pounds deposit (got refunded just last week since December).

Had to find a way of paying 3000 deposit for London Metropolitan University and applied for CAS in December. Got my CAS, January 6. No interviews. They are probably the fastest with CAS once you get your documents ready. You can get CAS in 3 days once they verified your payment.

Paid mail February 7th Decision made
Collection mail February 7th
Passport collection February 8th
Documents submitted- Degree Certificate, Transcript, IELTS, POF, CAS, TB Certificate, Introduction letter, no NSF despite 7 years of study gap.

Went through a whole lot during this period. Already gave up hope as my school gave me 14th February as latest day for me to be the UK and they already advised me to defer till September but the good Lord came through for me.

What kept me going during it all was someone's testimony on Part 7 when she said her bible verse for prayer was Ephesians 3 vs 20. Since that day in early January, I wake up every night to pray and use the verse as point of contact with God. He answered my prayers.

I'll be in London this week as God lives and I am not sure I'll be able to hold my tears at Heathrow when I get to hug my eldest brother for the first time since 2002 when he left Nigeria. Man Sponsored everything.

I am crying as I'm typing this. I've gone through a lot.

May the good Lord grant favour to each and everyone of you still waiting on him as regards visa application, he will surely do it. You only need to believe.

To the best of my knowledge, I think it means your latest arrival must not exceed 14th-18th of February, thus them saying the week starting on Feb 14th... I might be wrong tho..All the best and I hope your visa comes out soon.

My school gave 14th of February as the latest date for me to enrol on campus else I defer to the next intake. However my visa is yet to come out. I wrote emails to them and also appealed through my course leader for extension. But below is the mail I got from the school's Visa compliance team. Pls what could it mean?

Got 21st initially but later was able to get 18th. VI centre. I hope things work out quickly this one my school doesn't want to extend enrolment beyond February 7th.

Ven super priority is suspended. Its a long shot but if your your application is straight forward you can still meet up.

Reference letters is just fine. Priority visa is still suspended. Do you have tb test and POF ready? If yes its a long shot and it's upto you to take the chance. Yes. A third party can pay for you. All they need are your details

2. What's the current situation with priority application? School resumes on January 24th while last day of enrolment is February 7th. Can I give it a shot?

3. I have 7 years study gap and all I've done are part time teaching jobs apart from my small buying and selling hustle. I can only provide reference letters and not employment letters or pay slips. Should I be worried?

Then you can still get lucky. I think the University of Plymouth is really fast and don't do interviews for their CAS. If you have all those sorted, all you need is CAS and then you apply for a visa. Best of luck!

Sorry for your story. It's proof of something greater to come. Be expectant and never loose focus. For LMU, some people just recently applied and their cas has not been issued yet. Better you send a mail.

I hope I can get CAS from another school. Heard people saying if one school doesn't give you CAS, then you can never get it from any other school again.

You didn't state What course? Since your POF is matured apply for CAS for schools that are still open to CAS but they would require deposit to issue CAS . You are stuck. Best bet is to look at may or march intake from other schools.
PS :always accept your admisson offer. It deosnt matter whether or not you would be going. E get why.

Course is International Relations.

I accepted my offers at LMU and Coventry. Just checked my offer letters now and saw deposit deadline for Coventry is December 31st and LMU is December 20th. I accepted their offers since sef. Only other to go with Middlesex.

Not advisable. Getting the admission is nothing, you'll have so much to get done within a short time. Except you already have POF, TB test and all of the money you need. Why take yourself through mental gymnastics?

I have everything. TB test, POF has matured for about two weeks now, IELTS too.
