What courses are you looking at? If you just want to japa and not minding the course Coventry University has may intake. Some other schools like Bradford, Queen Mary University, London and University of East London has May intake. Forget about January.
Make God no just shame person. I had five offers and I chose one. Even paid deposit. Only to do Pre-CAS interview and they are saying something about study gap. My interviewer was satisfied with my response but the International student advice team said no. Got the regret mail last might. I'm so frustrated. My POF has even matured for about two weeks now. I got offer from Coventry too but it has lapsed. I currently have two offers from London Metropolitan but today is deadline to apply for CAS.

Practically impossible except God decides to show his strength. Nothing stops you from trying though.
But as a backup plan for your "rush", I will advise you research and apply to schools with February, March, April intakes.
Thanks alot

Please I know this is a long shot but is there still any school that can give admission within 3 days for January intake?

Thanks a lot. She's a UK Citizen. I'll just ask her to write a letter of sponsorship and attach a proof of credibility with her statement of account.

For me, my sister is the one funding my studies and I mentioned it during my credibility interview. They only said she should transfer the money to my account which she did. During the interview I also told them she would be paying my deposit directly from the US and they said it was ok. The deposit has been paid and I’m about getting my CAS.

I think you can mention that your relative is your sponsor but inform them that the money will be in your account.
Thanks bro.

I had a similar case and what I told them was that a family member transferred the outstanding balance of my school fees and maintenance fees into my bank account.
They asked for the JOB TITLE and ANNUAL INCOME. I only knew the Job title and not the annual income, I was asked why I didn't know the annual income - I simply told them because it is very rude and disrespectful in Nigeria culture to ask for an elder's annual income.
They asked if she had dependants and I said none that I know of.
The KEY POINT is to be sincere and honest. Don't lie of you don't know/have the answers.

quote author=dollyparton post=108104228]Dear all,
Good morning house and happy new month to us all. I asked a question a couple of pages back but I didn't get a clear answer probably due the way the question was framed. So I'll restructure it to make it clearer. I hold an unconditional offer from a university in the UK and I already paid deposit it I'm awaiting CAS subject to passing a PRE-CAS interview they called visa credibility interview. I had a practice session yesterday and one particular issue raised by the interviewer was that although I might have the required POF (which has already matured), i might still be asked to give evidence of how i came about such money. The interviewer told me my job and my salary earnings do not correspond with the POF thus I might have issues with financial credibility.

Now my question is can I mention a relative who is a UK citizen resident in the UK as my sponsor given that I can obtain a letter from her stating she's my sponsor with proof of her financial credibility. Also she was the one that paid my deposit. Please I'll appreciate fast answers as I'll be taking the pre-CAS interview today.

Thanks and God bless.

Thanks bro

Your aunt can not sponsor you, transferring the money into your account is the best thing. Mentioning her during your interview will not help your application
Thank you sir for your insight. The money is actually in my account. And my POF has actually matured. However during my practice session for the pre-CAS interview, the interview told me my current job doesn't correspond with the amount required for my POF and I have to be more convincing about my ability to show that I can maintain myself in the UK. The interviewer said there's a difference between having the POF in my account and being able to convince on it's source. That's my dilemma sir.

The fund is in my account. But I learnt that during my visa credibility interview I might asked for the source of my funds like my current job salary doesn't correlate with the amount. My sponsor is my aunt, can I state her as my sponsor during the interview? She's resident in the UK and I can provide evidence.

Good afternoon house

Pls Justwise and other Gurus in the house, can I mention my aunt as my sponsor during my visa interview? Shes actually my sponsor but we don't share the same surname. Can she be accepted as a sponsor? The money is in my account but I might likely be asked for who is my sponsor as my salary doesn't correlate with what I have in my account.

I dont believe a cv is considered evidence of employment. Her letter of employment, upgrade/promotion letters, ID card, payslip, commendation letter if any, would do fine in filling the gap .
In my own case, I can only produce a CV and recommendation letters. I don't have an employment letter or pay slips. Will just CV and recommendation letters suffice?

Good afternoon house, I hope we are all having a great Sunday. Pls I have a few questions and I will appreciate clear responses. Thanks

I hold an unconditional offer from Middlesex University and I've already paid even more than the required deposit. However, I learnt I'll still have to undergo a credibility interview.

1. Is there anybody in Middlesex or an applicant that can put me through how to book the credibility interview?

2. My study gap is more than 5 years as I graduated in 2014. However, I've been seeing issues related to proof of employment experience but my concern now is I've not really held a formal employment in that period. I've done teaching jobs but not with schools, I've only taught at tutorial centres (jamb classes) which we know are not full time stuffs. I put a couple of them in my CV. The main problem is I don't have employment letters or pay slips but I can easily get a reference letter from them. What do you advise?

3. I have done my masters but I didn't put it in my application for obvious reasons. I hope that's okay

4. I have a registered business from last year but I dont have a bank account in the business name, i use my personal account to run it, can i put the business name in my CV given i have the CAC certificate? Wont I be asked to provide transaction details for the business if I put it in my CV.

Thanks a lot

Yes, it helps. Pls have you made your deposit or do you have idea what the next step is after the deposit? And is that’s pre-CAS interview??
I've made the deposit and I've mailed to request for PRE-CAS interview. No reply yet sha. Pre-CAS interview is compulsory though.

Yes, you’re right it’s bcus of the course I choose. Most of the schools I got offer from requested for my ATAS certificate. But I wrote Northumbria University requesting if I can switch from MSc Mechanical Engineering to international project management and I was given unconditional offer less than 24 hrs after I mailed them. So I have turned off from Huddersfield and Hertfordshire to avoid delay in ATAS certificate.

I also applied to Middlesex last week on the 3rd of November and I was given unconditional offer today. Now I’m in between Middlesex and Northumbria University. But I’m looking at Northumbria which is 2000 deposit
Middlesex is 1000 deposit

Your answer depends on the sum required for POF. So how much do you require?
By current calculations, my POF is about less than 11m. My school's deposit is 1k and I paid 4500 instead.

Print from the day after so that the lump sum deposited in your account will not show.
It is better that way and makes ur application easier to consider.
No lump sum deposit, no red flag, just a regular account with regular transactions.

Sidenote, it would have been better if u made a transaction the day after u made ur deposit (even if it is N500 naira) because from the software that most banks use to generate ur account statement, the dates that will appear on ur statement of account are dates of transaction.

Example:
1)You made a lump sum deposit on the 1st of November

2) the next transaction u make is on the 7th of November

Now, if you try to print your statement from the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,or 6th of November (in order to avoid the deposit of the lump sum u did on the 1st of November to show in ur account statement,
The starting date that will be on ur statement of account will be 7th of November as ur account didn't record any activity on the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th and 6th.
In other words, u can not see:
-N0 transaction on 2nd November
-N0 transaction on 3rd November
-N0 transaction on 4th November
-N0 transaction on 5th November
-N0 transaction on 6th November. In essence, those dates will not appear on ur account statement because u had no transaction on those days. So, nothing to capture.

This means that ur 28 days statement computation/counting will be affected if u decide not to show the lump sum deposit as 2nd to 6th November (5 important days in the life of your application) will not be captured in ur statement of account.

Hope this helps.
Thanks. If I get you right, for example I made a deposit of 15m on my account on 26th of last month and on 27th to 28th, I made some transfers amounting to about 1m and now I have about 14m in my account. Can I calculate from 27th?

Wow. Thank God I didn't delay any longer in paying my deposit. Got an unconditional offer since and waited for about two weeks before I paid deposit because I was waiting for LMU. Paid since Monday but my portal was updated to reflect the payment yesterday. My POF is already 10 days into maturity and I'm doing my TB test next week. Do you have an idea what to expect from their pre-CAS interview?

So I got an email today from London Metropolitan asking me to provide "further information in order to assess your application in relation to student visa compliance."

Fingers crossed and hoping the email is a good sign I'm being favorably considered.

Please comment or send a PM and help a brother if you've recently been offered admission at London Met as well.

Thanks.
I've applied to that stupid school since September 27 and still now I've heard nothing from them. I mailed them and they replied October 28 that they sent my application to the compliance team. I got response from Coventry and Middlesex within 4 days. I couldn't wait for LMU again cos there's no time. Paid my Middlesex deposit yesterday.
