To be completed in 2025, what if the new government in power by then discontinues the project? What's stopping them from completing it by 2023? Nigerian government and unnecessary dragging of projects till it gets abandoned. |
The relationship is only 2 months old, as you're studying him, he's also studying you. Two months is too early to start expecting a defined relationship or total commitment from your partner. Keep the natural conversation flowing, you can subtly insert your marriage goals in your conversations from time to time. Within 6-8 months of the relationship, you should know by them where the relationship is going. Keep your options open, don't make him your last bus stop yet. |
They fired tear gas o, not live bullets before some propagandist come out to say they counted 72 bodies dropping to the ground and use it to gain asylum in a developed country. As painful and unfortunate as the incidence is, that does not mean the students have to go on a destructive rampage. It solves absolutely nothing! As at yesterday, three trucks have already been burnt, trucks that had no fault in the tragedy but the owners have lost their means of livelihood as a result of the violent rampage. If police does not put a stop to the protests, criminals will hijack it and use it to loot and destroy properties like we saw what happened in Lagos barely a year ago. But trust Nigerians who are too emotional and anti-government to think straight. |
Some people like to study sha |
I have vague memories of watching this on tv back in the 90s. I used to wonder why the doctor was shooting the patient with gun. Bhet how do they expect people like us that are terrified of needles to sit still to receive that monstrosity gadget of a vaccine? Thank God for civilization |
If your brother the so-called head of the family cannot manage his home and resources, then he's not fit to be head of the family. Na figurehead be that. In most cases your brother just doesn't want to help but you find it convenient to blame the wife. I don't think any woman can effectively prevent her husband from helping his family, does she have access to his account? He doesn't want to give you period! And as for the part of not allowing eat whatever you like in the house, don't be surprised if it's the woman is the one buying all or most of the food in the house with her own money. You people will go and want to eat what you wouldn't eat in your houses as per I dey my brother's house. Why won't she lock up the groceries, do you know their budget for the month? Most men's relatives have this inbuilt entitlement mentality that makes them expect to be treated like royalty by the wives. Anything short of that, they start wailing like this op. The same sets of people that will be bragging that wives are not a part of their family will now be expecting same wives to give them royal treatment, no be juju be that ?

Who are the members of this Muric other than this so-called professor? |
Polygamy is not a big deal in uhrobo land. Almost all my ujrobo coursemates came from polygamous homes. Neo from BBN also came from a polygamous home. Most of them live in peace and harmony, you wouldn't even be able to differentiate between the half and full siblings. |
Estima evicted |
Reussite:Lol I've edited my post |
Damola fit go home tonight, he's missing the target badly. Oops I spoke too soon, he just hit the bull's eye. Estima and Rachel didn't hit bull's-eye, it's now left to whose target is farthest from the hr bull's-eye |
This is so horrible, how did that many kids get access into the car without anybody noticing? So painful, some of the kids are siblings from same parents. May God console the parents ![]() “When I heard the incident I rushed there like other residents, we found out some of the children were still alive, they were still breathing, we were telling them to rush them to the hospital, but they were wasting time, they didn’t do anything till it was late. By the time they eventually took the grandchild of Saliat Kazeem to the hospital, it was too late as she died on the way.”This is why basic CPR knowledge is very important. Perhaps some of the children might have survived this if CPR had been promptly applied |
blackboy:Did you think they were going to barge into Cote D'Ivoire and demand for her release and the country will release her just like that? They hired lawyers to appeal her case, they appealed she should be released and deported for health reasons all of which ended in deadends. It seemed the ivorian authorities wanted to use the lady's case to prove they're not push-overs or something like that. The Nigerian embassy that could not contact the diaspora commission when the case happened takes the bulk of the blame here but nobody is talking about them. |
Everybody is shouting Abike this, Abike that, what about the Nigerian embassy in Ivory coast? What did they do about her plight since 2019? Nigerian diasporan commission was not informed until late 2020, does Abike Dabiri have mystical powers to know about a Nigerian languishing in jail in Ivory coast? The deceased's family probably didn't know the appropriate quarters to channel their complaints to till it got too late, not the fault of the diaspora commission. The bulk of the blame goes to the Nigerian embassy in CIV and sadly the deceased living illegally in another country. All these mess would have been avoided if she hadn't insisted on pursuing a matter that could have been settled out of the police station |
I like the no janitors part, they are preparing the children for independence and adulthood. Here in Nigeria some parents stormed a school to complain that they were making their children do manual labour after school. That was part of the things that impressed me about the school when I saw the students cleaning up their classrooms and school surroundings. Now all that is no more thanks to woke parents. |
It's not only these vandals that should be arrested, the people that buy such stuff from them should be arrested too |
Look for someone else to give the bike to and the person must remit no less than 3k daily. If you can be making more than 3k for a few hours work, one crook now wants to be remitting only 1k after a full day's work. He must be ment. Before releasing the bike, make sure an undertaken at the police station with a guarantor you can easily trace. Too many criminals out there and they're the ones quick to shout no jobs. After you've comfortably saved enough money, you can now decide if you want to quit or continue running both. I would personally advise you remain on the job. Economy is not smiling right now, it's very risky to rely on one means of income. |
Twizzy30:Majority of them are naive teenage girls and you know it. You people that glorify and justify this evil won't know how sickening it is till your female relative becomes a victim. May God punish all bastard pedophiles exploiting naive young girls under the guise of "grooming of smallie". |
They're ashamed to disclose how much ransom they paid to "rescue" him |
Shameless hegoats, they'll lure naive teenage girls into sex and turn them into sex slaves and at the same time start wailing that girls are loose. YOU MADE THEM LOOSE! You have a "main" and you're still looking for smallie to control, what becomes of the smallie after you're done with her? You people keep praying not to have daughters because you know what you did with other people's daughters. May God give you daughters who will fall prey to animals like you. |
One has to be very careful about these POS operators, majority of them are crooks. Like someone said, it's now advisable to erase the Security number at the back of the card once you get it. Times are hard, people are managing yet some criminals won't hesitate to wipe out your entire savings without a care in the world what becomes of you. Worst thing is that the banks are doing nothing to put a stop to this. |
Most likely a scam. What's his username? |
Since November 24 I hope he's found unhurt. |
That's a how some people make money in developed countries. They buy out tickets of popular matches and concerts and resell at double or triple the price. It's a booming business especially in England but one needs to be sharp cos those tickets get sold out within minutes they're put on sale. |
Househelp:Are you justifying what happened to the young man because he went to an expensive school? Is he the one that made you not to be able to afford such school or his parents should have used his to feed you since you talked about starving people. It's none of your business what people choose to do with their money and certainly don't deserve ill luck because they're rich. Don't let poverty twist your mindset. You wish to be stupendously rich in future yet you detest rich people and wish them bad luck, no be witchcraft be that? |
Chinbunda:It's 21:15 |
Its the way these Nairaland alfa males ignored the stealing habit of this teenager and focused on his uncle's wife's "wickedness". So petty theft should be accepted and applauded by the op so she won't be seen as wicked? The boy has given her every reason not to like him and I won't blame her for it. If someone keeps stealing from you, feel free to like the person that's your business. I personally can't stand thieves and I won't even try to pretend to like you even if you're my blood relative that steals. By the time the boy graduates from petty theft to armed robbery, I hope he robs you at gunpoint like the one in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdBIRhuMItk |
It's not surprising that Jennifer got to be the first female to bounce, she had always been the weakest link in her group. |
The photos don't look coordinated at all. Some look like they were taken by professional photographer, others look like they were taken with phone's camera. The organizers should have least given them a theme for their photoshoots so they'd at least look like contestants of the same pageant Is that blue teeth I'm seeing on Petra Oluoma? Why Oluchi Venesa come carry face like stone, is that the best photo she coule produce? Majority of the photos are epic fail |
Tick paralysis, I'm hearing that for the first time. Is it as a result of getting bitten by ticks? |
I don't understand this amapiano stuff, is it the beat or the style of music? |
Game on |
