This trend is now getting popular since nobody is doing anything about it. Teachers apart from being poorly paid are now vulnerable to attacks by irate parents for discipling their children. Any parent caught attacking teachers deserve to be arrested and their unruly kids thrown into juvenile detention facilities

Is it that these banks are not aware that fraudstars are amongst their staff. They make it so easy for this criminals to operate. A lot of yahoo boys, their friends and girlfriends have been recruited into several banks and are working together to wipe out customer's accounts and these banks are not doing anything about it

Don't input the number more than once so it won't go to puk mode. You can Google default pin codes for your network. I don't think the one I gave is very accurate

Put a sim lock on your phones especially the one that receives alert. This is getting too rampant. If asked for pin, use the default pin that comes with every sim pack. For MTN it's 00000, for AIRTEL it is 1111, for 9mobile it is 0000, for GLO it is 0000. The thief will try to gain access to the sim without success and PUK number will be required, if the PUK is attempted up to 10 times, the sim is automatically blocked. Phone lock is not enough anymore

Multichoice is doing a very poor job in giving this show publicity. Either they don't want it to be anywhere near their no.1 money maker BBN or they felt bringing in popular influencer Toke Makinwa is enough to boost ratings.

I remember complaining that they didn't interview evicted contestants in subsequent episodes the way they did in past seasons. I never knew there was a mid-week show dedicated to that, it's called jungle diaries. I don't think I've ever seen any publicity on this show till a YouTube notification on it popped into my screen. I thought it was a YouTube only show but it actually airs on Thursday nights on the Africa magic channels at 10pm (9:30 on AM showcase). I watched some clips of the show and saw Toke in ways I've never seen her on the show. She was warm, energetic, relatable. She interviewed the evicted contestants professionally and was full of kind and encouraging words to them unlike the way she was always shushing and scolding them in the jungle. This is the show Toke should be handling while the task master should handle jungle matters exclusively. I hope the organizers make necessary changes next season if there'll be one.

Out of curiosity I checked out what episode 1 of the jungle diaries was all about since there was no one to interview. It comprised of clips of past seasons. Omo, the tasks this season are child's play compared to the ones of last season. They laid emphasis on the season Task master Kunle Remi won. I hope they step up on the tasks now that individual task are about to start

She started sending text messages with his phone to his wife and mother telling them that he's doing fine where he is and they should not bother to call him. His family knew something was off because he was dyslexic and he couldn't have typed those messages impeccably. The heartless woman killed him because he demanded accountability on how his money was being spent. Before she came into his life and started controlling his money, he sent money to his siblings, mother, set up businesses for his childhood friends. Madam blondie entered the equation and he couldn't even buy ordinary shoes without going through her. He thought she was helping him manage his money but she was squandering it while his wife and kids were living from hand to mouth. She had to kill him because she couldn't account for how she spent his money. On the plus side, the over 200k dollars found in her account was confiscated and given to the mother of his kids.

Let's put emotions aside and analyze the situation. She was living in ivory coast illegally using a false identity. That's a serious offence in sane countries. Knowing her status in that country, she should have avoided the police station by all means. The relative of the boy that stole from her wanted to compensate her so she wouldn't press charges, she should have just collected the settlement and continued with her business. Her insistence on reporting to the police by all means sealed her fate. As much as I sympathize with the deceased and her loved ones, the fact remains that she is to blame for her woes not the government

Check their time of registration on nairaland, if is an old account then is legit but if the account is register newly then definitely is a scammer.

Age of the accunt no longer counts. Old accounts are now being sold and hacked into to carry out scam. If someone gives you a mouth-watering offer that's too good to be true, it's most likely a scam. Running a search on the number of the person you're dealing with can also save you from getting scammed. Most of their numbers have been flagged as scam (just as the op did) or added to the scam list. If only Nairalanders can carry out proper due diligence before sending money to online strangers, at least 75% of scams here will be curbed.
