And this same David Mark was screaming out that Nigeria was a one party state . |
Dem no see customer buy their forms? Let the obidients go and pick the forms nah. |
jaguar1997:Trash. He should go and spend his billions that he accumulated during his disastrous tenure as Governor of Anambra. Someone whose wealth can only be traced to when he was governor . And why didn't he leave Anambra better than he met it? |
Megaplusprime:They say that Giringori is not going to release a manifesto just as he did not release one the last time because, according to the obidient, Tinubu and co will steal his ideas. They also said we should not use Obi's failure as governor of Anambra to judge him that ruling Anambra and being President are two very different things that Anambra is the hardest state to rule and achieve results. So you have a candidate by way of Giringori who does not have a manifesto or has ever provided a solution to all the problems of Nigeria he has been pointing out and whose last stint as an executive public officer was deemed the worst adminstration ever. |
ResidentSnitch:Why is it that it is only you guys that are doing this ? There are northerners and SS people in Lagos but you don't see them contesting any position in Lagos . If as you say that Yorubas from outside Lagos can not contest, why then should you that isn't from the region be allowed? Note also that there existed a Yoruba empire long before Nigeria and states. Yorubas see themselves as one and states as merely administrative boundaries. |
baba11:Too much rain in the south. A greenhouse environment , you can control the irrigation and same greenhouse traps incoming solar radiation and increases the temperature within . |
FuglyGurl:Why do you guys like setting yourself up for future heartbreak? Yoruba-buts that contributed immensely to selling your Agulu fraud, have been quitting the obidient movement over the clannish tribalism that saw Ibo members of the obidient movement being appointed excos in SW. When these Yoruba-buts complained to Giringori , he waved it aside. Also , most Yoruba-buts also quit the movement over it's brazen toxicity targeting vilification and insults on the Yoruba people as a whole by mainly SE obidients. One particular Yoruba obidient who has since quit the movement stated that he left the obidients because of this orchestrated and approved onslaught and insults on the Yoruba people with the likes of Obi not cautioning his people So Obi sees nothing in his die hard ibo supporters insulting Yorubas online and he also made sure that the obidient movement across the SW was headed by only his Ibo people So you guys think Yorubas are foolish? This is how you are all fooling yourselves that the Muslim north will vote Obi despite all I.P.O.B attack on northern Muslims which your obi never condemned but said they were his friends and neighbours. Then there is the issue of Yes Daddy tape. Do you guys think every one has fish brains ? |
richeeyo:Naira and not dollars. And why are you referencing coca farming? |
Magnetic010:Yes if you go Greenhouse farming. |
Nwaikpe:Arguing with your lot is a waste of time. But for this instance let me address you. 1. I stated in response to you that gentrification will eventually see to more areas like Ajegunle that was once a slum getting a face lift and the main reason for this is an increase in middle class population who are priced out from moving to high brow areas .Gentrification happens alongside govt actively improving public space and clamping down on crime which is what Lagos is doing more than any state and that's why the same Lagos that still has a growing middle class is more poised to see to gentrification than say your stagnant Aba. Abuja is not experiencing gentrification because it is as elitist as can be and there are no real jobs powering the economy over there that can see to middle class growth. That's why slums and shanties are expanding and springing up across the FCT. This is the very opposite of gentrification which the govt solves by demolishing slums and re alloting the cleared slum to estate developers. Real gentrification occurs where you have a real economy that attracts talent that will eventually enter the middle class income group. 2. You made mention of Chinese model without even explaining what it is. For your information, just 40ys ago, 80% of the Chinese population lived in small towns and villages and were engaged in mainly agricultural sector. With China's industrialization, cities began exploding as rural workers moved to them searching for jobs. In response the Chinese began building entire cities from the ground alongside industrial zones. The Chinese model boomed in the early 2,000s with direct investment via soft loans from the Chinese central bank in an effort to boost GDP. The Govt even allowed foreigners to buy into the Chinese housing market but pulled the rug on that move when it became clear that western investors were buying up more than one property to hold . Xi then declared that housing was a right and that any foreign holder who was playing the housing market by simply using it as a investment hedge in hopes that housing will see a cost explosion in future was banned from the market . The Chinese model you are talking about involved the Chinese govt building entire cities from the ground using public funds at low interests so that the average Chinese could afford and repay the mortgage loan. Most of these new cities came about just less than 30ys ago and sprang up on virgin land and this model is one of its kind and has never been replicated . Now tell me, which community in your confederation of villages state will allow the govt to take their land and build mass housing ? Only Abuja has done such a thing and it came at the expense of the indegenes. |
Nwaikpe:Why has your state not adopted your so-called Chinese model? Also note that up till the early 90s most of New York city outside Manhattan was technically a slum. Gentrification of the other 4 boroughs (Brooklyn, Harlem, Bronx and Queens) began with buying up of entire blocks, renovating it and renting to richer clients. The State District Attorney back then, Rudy Giuliani , who successfully ran on a tough on crime campaign, dislodged organized crime groups and jailed inner city gang members thereby reducing crime across the city. This led to gentrification of what was once ghetto layouts and crime infested boroughs . As Lagos continues to attract more and more people from across Nigeria, the issue of slums will persists but you can already see gentrification of most parts of the mainland as the Island and Lekki axis gets more and more expensive Places like Yaba, Ikeja have all been gentrified and as long as growth and individual success is guaranteed for those who tap into the bustling Lagos market, investments will flow to other parts of the city .Even Ajegunle is wearing a new look as both the State and Local govt have been constructing roads and drainage s and the area is having a new look as people buy and renovate old houses. Also, the slums in Lagos are far better than anywhere in Aba. |
aswani:And you are still yet to condemn the OP. You see Esnbrutality running feral here supporting every rubbish the OP has posted. Is Esnbrutality also a Yoruba masquerading as ibo ? And everything this OP has posted over the several days is no different from what the likes of Ekpa and Kanu were spewing with full support of the majority of your people How you will see this obvious deranged fellow who you refused to condemn as a fraud and switch to attacking Yorubas and NL only you can explain This behaviour reminds me of what an Edo influencer said which is that a ibo man will collect beating from a Fulani but run and go hold a Yoruba man screaming why you dey beat me. Typical |
Hantavirus is also part of a family of haemorrhaging fevers just like Ebola. Why do I get the feeling that the Hantavirus spreading globally is actually weaponized Ebola . |
Precious201010:You know pass Boeing executives that are the ones actually proposing to setup shop in Nigeria . And do you even understand what a hub means? This hub will serve the entire African market and the now unstable ME. We also have the manpower and talent pool from which Boeing can tap into. Add also several existing airports that Boeing can choose from to convert to their main maintenance hub. Stick to trading . |
Helinuse:Do you know what a hub is? And you think you know more than Boeing executives who want to setup a maintenance hub in Nigeria that will serve the African market alongside the now dislodged ME sector. How senseless can you guys be? Microsoft office in Lagos is not restricted to the Nigerian market but the entire west African sub region. Boeing setting up shop in Nigeria is because we have the highest number of airlines and have several airports that they can choose from to lease and turn to their maintenance hub that will serve all of Africa and the ME. But I guess it's too complicated for you to understand the business strategy and why Boeing chose Nigeria which also has a pool of talents to tap into. Stick to petty trading and leave business to people who know how to plan beyond stocking shelves. |

Ojiofor:So who are the winners ? Is it Obi that was declared a first class failure by Anambra people ? Well, what you don't know is that this callousness by your people to contest every position in Lagos only exposes NDC as a tribal party being used by you guys to take over Lagos. This will not spell well for your Giringori if he gets on the ballot. |
Obidient mod don move thread to general section and hide your map. Lol |
femi4:If it was easy, why you no try win even common village youth treasurer. |
I was drunk when I proposed to her after she allowed me into my own house that she was cohabiting with me when I came back late. My best drunken action ever. |
math2001:No it's not. It was but isn't . A referendum was approved by the regional house for a plebiscite to leave western Nigeria which no single Yoruba MP opposed. But the case was the opposite in Enugu were every attempt by the minorities to leave the defunct Eastern region was frustrated by the Ibo majority. This is where I give my respect to Yorubas for allowing the creation of Midwestern region to happen. |
math2001:When Effik and Atam people in Cross Rivers reject them now they will start insulting them. |
Owombakara:Dem don dey get sense small. Kanu and Ekpa included the entire Delta , Edo and Benue in their map. And Ekpa will later publish a list of his cabinet members of his Biafra Government in exile with himself as PM that did not even bother to include even a phantom non Ibo person as part of his govt. |
Owombakara:Dem don bypass rivers for fear of Ikwere and Ijaws. |
SmartPolician:Be civil ! By the time they do the primaries across the north and northerners find out that it is only Ibos as registered members of NDC , equation go change . |
Endinjustice:One day , Giringori son will contest for Onitsha Federal rep . |
Henrymas:How is he a failure? And what about you guys wanting to recycle the failure that is Giringori |
jaxxy:Your Giringori who has failure allover his CV as governor is whom you want to foist on us . |
