Hi lysaa, You're the only one that ever mention an important point here, about the killing stuff during sex and i must confess, she does everything possible for me to enjoy it and lateral told me she was doing it for me to be comfortable as if she never enjoyed it as well, she loves me that much, dont ask because i dont know why but i guess there is something to her advantage which i can't really think of now. moreover, about the issue of telling me about her toasters, that i must say we've talked about many times and it always ended up "accusing me not been jealose because i didnt love her", anyway talking about jealosy i have a way of handling things because of what i've come through and seen in life. inconclusion, there're many ways we can't be together which i can't go into details now, it breaks my heart to say that; remember life is not all about sex alone which she is good at. . .there's sometimes in life you do everything possible and die to meet someone and after that you discovers he/she are not the person you really thinks they are. , i'm really sorry to say that anyway. . . thanks for your reply and many out there that posted, given me one or two tips to hang onto. Once again thanks.

Travel › Why Go Abroad And Never Coming Back? by domwas2(op): 3:53pm On Mar 06, 2007 |
Some people never stop to amaze me, They always pointing their father's land with their left hand, whenever they found theirselves in abroad. I'm so surprised when some talk trash about their country- Nigeria, as if their relatives. . .anyway. I visited the forum, Travel with the Topic "Is Life Really Better Abroad?" while some talking as if NIGERIA is full of that much sh*t, So i posted my reply as below: Don't RUN abroad, stay and eat what your fathers planted in the land U guys should stop kidding me-ok, there is No place in the world that is 100% perfect from others. talking abt social amenities,Nigeria is growing up since 1960 not to compare her to other countries in abroad that gots their independence many years ago. the birth of a country should be put into consideration, You can't just wakes up oneday and compare a new born baby to his father. and remember, b4 a country worth living, their great grand father most have passed thru difficult time. . .
The people in abroad are enjoying the sacrifies made by their father, So stay in your country and plant a seed down for your younger generation/children and stop being selfish going to abroad to be a pertaker of what you know. . . , So your children generation wouldn't curse you in the nearest future. As the saying "No place like Home" so why then go abroad and never want to come back to develop your father land. Some are given the power to develop this country by some means but because of greed and selfishness they DON'T, What I really know is that, even the unborn generation will request for our account/attribute to the Land before their birth. Now the question is "Why go abroad and never come back". . . Comment please. |

Celebrities › Re: Kola Olawuyi Is Dead by domwas2(m): 5:12pm On Mar 05, 2007 |
What about the cult thing? may his soul rest in peace My wife, mother and I belong to same cult
Many people see him as a spirit, while others simply believe he belongs to a cult with some strange, protective powers. Kola Olawuyi, popular presenter and producer of Nkan Nbe; a Yoruba mystical programme cannot but remain a controversial figure owing to the nature of the stories he presents on air.
As the creator and presenter of Nkan mbe, which is now a household name in virtually all parts of Yoruba land, Olawuyi is not just loved by fans, he is dreaded too. In fact, when Juju-Gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele (one of Olawuyi’s former staff) was involved in an auto crash that nearly killed him, Olawuyi was almost stoned for allegedly attempting to sacrifice one of his workers to his fetish god.
But as a man of God, Olawuyi said he chose not to react to the allegations, but kept quiet, and he eventually emerged victorious over the allegations. This gave him a good image among his peers, since he cleverly shunned the rain of abuses on him in the media.
He told Daily Sun that by relying on the scriptures, which states "in silence is your victory" and "stand therefore, having your loins girded with truth," he succeeded in quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked:
How I started The programme first kicked off on Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Ibadan, Oyo State where I worked. After a series of the stories on air, the programme became so popular and people looked out for the myths on a regular basis. Before I knew it, people began to peddle rumours that I belonged to a cult. I had to go solo with the same programme on Ogun State Radio (OGBC) and the myths then got so well established to a point that, I became a man to be feared or loved. Inferno: Vengeance or accident? I disagree that the fire that gutted my office and studios at Ipodo area of Ikeja in Lagos, was an act of vengeance. It was an accident and I refuse to give the credit of that destruction to anyone. In the inferno, I lost my expensive video cameras, mixers, lamps and other equipment that many people sincerely believed could only be replaced by God. And truly, the great hand of God descended on me and within six months, Kolbim Communications bounced back to life in a more dynamic way.
By the time the fire visited and left us, I was left with nothing. I wondered how I could get the money to replace the burnt equipment and to secure another accommodation of that size and still continue to maintain my programmes both on radio and the television. But I regained all my losses when God came to my rescue and today, the new Kolbim Communications complex has been built to reflect modern architecture, furnished to taste and totally equipped for work better than before.
Sponsors I have none. The kind of programme I produce and present cannot thrive on partnership with anyone, especially if the partner holds the financial power. Many good television and radio programmes have been rested due to the interference of the executive producers who often fall short of the necessary artistic design and execution of the producers. For this reason, Nkan Nbe cannot allow for an executive producer, no matter how much the person is willing to put down. Once people are aware that there is a partner that holds the knife and yam, they would start putting pressure on him to dictate how the programme should be. And whenever he fails to obey, the continuity of the programme would be threatened. For me, I would never compromise the standard and role of Nkan Nbe for any one. Although it is expensive to run, I thank God for His provisions so far.
Between radio and television It is easier to handle programmes on radio than on television. Radio is less expensive and production is made cheaper due primarily to its operations. Television programming is time consuming, expensive and highly demanding because of the creative approach. One must always make sure that there is variety in one’s productions in order to keep the audience glued to their television sets all the time. From set design to costume designing, scripting, presentation and body language, television production and presentation require high level creativity.
My stories I source my stories like the average journalist does. As soon as I get a lead, I go out there to pursue the story. I do not run after stories without substance. I usually carry out investigative work before I do a follow up to a story. This is to avoid embarrassing all concerned. In this field, one must be found credible, trust-worthy and reliable. The slightest suspicion of moral or financial fraud is enough to put one off air and damage one’s reputation altogether. Besides, I neither judge nor condemn, rather, I allow the audience to determine their reactions. At the beginning, I used to look out for stories. I made use of contacts and read newspapers to pick story ideas that I can work upon. However, as the programme gained wider acceptance, people started looking for me, either to tell their stories or relay other incidents around them or somewhere they know. However, it is not all these stories that I investigate personally. Sometimes, I send out feelers to detect their authenticity before going out to work on them.
The cult and me I have heard this several times but I just decided not to react to it. The truth is that either directly or indirectly, every human being relies on certain powers to effect the cause of his or her life. There are two cults, and by natural inclination, one must choose which one to belong at any given time. There is the cult of God and the cult of Satan. I must say categorically that I belong to the first cult which is the highest, the best and the most powerful of all. All powers in heaven and on earth have been given to the head of that cult. With this power behind me, in and before me, I fear no one. Beside, both my mother and my wife are powers themselves that daily shed their energies to see me succeed. Both of them belong to the same cult that I belong to.
T.V presentation I think there should be separation between the story to be presented and the topic for discussion. By the time you open your lines for the audience to comment on your stories, you have become the judge and the viewers, the lawyer. This is unfair to the characters involved in the story you are handling. Aside this, valuable time is usually wasted on callers sending mere greetings. Ordinary greeting doesn’t bring any return or contribute to the artistic excellence of the programme.
Sub title We have decided to sub title all the episodes of the programme to cater for the non-Yoruba speaking audience. This is made possible by the fact that we run recorded programmes. The innovation has started and we hope to do an appraisal very soon to determine its success. The outcome of this would either lead us to producing the English version of Nkan Nbe or we remain at the sub title level.
Marketing I wanted to market the tapes and CDs here in Nigeria but when I studied the market, two factors stood against the idea. First, I discovered that the level of piracy is still high. The second factor is the insincerity of marketers themselves. I can’t imagine myself fighting pirates on one side and being cheated by someone who is supposed to be my partner in progress on the other side. For now, I prefer to market my work outside the country–United Kingdom and the United States precisely. In both countries, business is done strictly on rules and regulations and there is little or no cause for alarm.
Music label I intend to go into the production of musical works. What we plan to do is to register artistes, record them under our label and allow them appoint a marketer to sell their own works. This is our little way to help young ones who are coming up to realise their ambition. However, it is not going to be an all comers’ affair. We intend to start with good artistes and go on to groom those with potentials.
Next level I have not even done 10 percent of what I planned for Kolbim Communications yet. I plan to return Mystique; our magazine that got rested a few years ago. Also the production and presentation of Nkan Nbe will soon take a new dimension. I promise my fans and viewers a very pleasant surprise.
Wife Ah, that’s my jewel, my heart, the love of my life, my lover and girlfriend.

Phones › 7 Tips To Extend Your Cell Phone Battery Life by domwas2(op): 2:21am On Mar 04, 2007 |
When it comes to batteries it looks like we are at the same point we were 10 years ago. Batteries don’t last longer than a few days. But to be fair to the battery designers we have to admit that nowadays’ smartphones require much more energy than phones 10 years ago. We can’t really compare them but what we can do is use them with more care. Here are a few good tips how to go about it: 1. Turn off your Bluetooth – I find Bluetooth to be the most power hungry application; turn it off when you don’t use it 2. Disable sounds and vibrating alert – you don’t really need keypad tones to be on, do you? What about vibrating? It is surely useful on the meetings or in a cinema but most of time you’ll do just fine without it; I usually set up a vibrating profile to be used in places like cinema or theatre and in all other profiles I have vibrating turned off 3. Brightness – lower the brightness of your screen; not too low, otherwise you’ll destroy your vision 4. Setting the Power saver time-out and the Light time-out to the low values will help too (you’ll find them in the display settings) 5. If you are not using an application switch it off – you’ll get a list of all active applications by long pressing the menu button; this is a general rule that can be applied to any device 6. Games – it’s fun to play games on your way to school but they are power-hungry beasts; I can’t tell you not to play games but think about your battery when you are playing 7. Turn off your phone when you don’t use it – I know that for many of you this is not an option and I’m not sure if turning it off and on is even good for your battery but I heard this tip from so many people that I just had to mention it My Nokia E50 lasts 3-5 days depending on how often I use it. I have to say that I don’t play games, neither I browse the internet very often. How about you? How long does your battery last and how often do you use your phone? Do you have some additional tips that could extend battery life? Feel free to add them in comments below. Enjoy

He said mobile phone use may be a marker for other lifestyle factors known to affect sperm quality.
"Maybe people who use a phone for four hours a day spend more time sitting in cars, which could mean there’s a heat issue. It could be they are more stressed, or more sedentary and sit about eating junk food getting fat. Those seem to be better explanations than a phone causing the damage at such a great distance" he added.

Phones › Men Who Use Mobile Phones Face Increased Risk Of Infertility by domwas2(op): 1:58am On Mar 04, 2007 |
Men who use mobile phones could be risking their fertility, warn researchers. A new study shows a worrying link between poor sperm and the number of hours a day that a man uses his mobile phone. Those who made calls on a mobile phone for more than four hours a day had the worst sperm counts and the poorest quality sperm, according to results released yest at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine annual meeting in New Orleans. Doctors believe the damage could be caused by the electromagnetic radiation emitted by handsets or the heat they generate. The findings suggest millions of men may encounter difficulties in fathering a child due to the widespread use of mobile phones and offers another possible explanation for plummeting fertility levels among British males. Sperm counts among British men have fallen by 29 per cent over the past decade, a drop which has also been blamed on increasing obesity, smoking, stress, pollution and 'gender-bending' chemicals which disrupt the hormone system. The latest study backs up previous research which indicated a link between mobile phone use and sperm quality, but it is the biggest and best designed to date. US researchers in Cleveland and New Orleans, and doctors in Mumbai, India, looked at more than 360 men undergoing checks at a fertility clinic who were classified into three groups according to their sperm count. Men who used a mobile for more than four hours a day had a 25 per cent lower sperm count than men who never used a mobile. The men with highest usage also had greater problems with sperm quality, with the swimming ability of sperm - a crucial factor in conception - down by a third. They had a 50 per cent drop in the number of properly formed sperm, with just one-fifth looking normal under a microscope. Professor Ashok Agarwal, director of the Reproductive Research Centre at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, who led the study, said "Almost a billion people are using cell phones around the world and the number is growing in many countries at 20 to 30 per cent a year. "In another five years the number is going to double. People use mobile phones without thinking twice what the consequences may be. "It is just like using a toothbrush but mobiles could be having a devastating effect on fertility. It still has to be proved but it could have a huge impact because mobiles are so much part of our lives."
