These pointlessb of a guy i dont even understand you. Why did you start these thread. I am yet to figure out whom you are and what you represent. In your bid to defend you and your cohorts, you call ndigbo a fish in the can and unwise. In your bid to humiliate us and insult our senses, you dig out unreasonable articles like these. Whom are you and what do you represent? You might think am trying to misunderstand the article, no, but you really have a hidden agenda. Time will tell.

Politics / Re: The Mediocrity In The Nigerian Government by donchris369: 11:18pm On Feb 01, 2013
In as much as i agree with you on american nationality, can you just agree with me that if a particular ethnic group dominate the government on merit to the detriment of others here in nigeria it can result to the unexpected. Nigeria have not attained that sort of integration of a society like the usa. Here, in nigeria, you see an ethnic group call themselves born to rule, you see another one, we have never ruled before, you see another one crying over marginalization of them being minority e.t.c in these sort of situation how do you expect nigeria to churn out the best leaders. These is just nigeria problem and not comparing with america that dont care about their ethnic leaning and only care about the best. How do we eradicate such a mentality bro? I agree with you on the american part though
kalokalo:

This is a big lie. There is no nation on earth that is as multi ethnic and multi religious as the United States. It is a fusion pot of every race, creed, tongue, ethnicity and religion on earth. America has peoples of Italian, German, Japanese, Igbo, dutch, English, Chinese, Spanish, Yoruba, French, Polynesian and Scandinavian descent to mention very few.

How come they don't have the same problems with ethnicity and religion that Nigeria has? And please don't say its because whites are the major demographic as that argument does not hold water since blacks are the only demographic in Nigeria. If whites of different ethnicities as I mentioned above can unite for their common good, what of the blacks in Nigeria who don't have other races to contend with?

How come Americans willingly surrender their native/ancestral languages and culture for the common language and culture of the country? How come you can be born in one state and represent another state in a political office? How come you dont't hear of Swedish Americans killing German-Americans in ethno-religious riots? Are they not of one race yet different ethnicities? Yet we have blacks killing each other in Naija over religion and ethnicity.

Afam i am very sorry for you. I used to think that you were intelligent before, but you are proving me wrong. This your analogy is the worste analogy i have ever seen in the history of mankind comparing america and nigeria trying to pass a message tactically that jonathan is not qualified to be president. Why not put the title of your thread # nigeria should drop federal character#. Nigeria is a multi-ethnic and religious country unlike the usa. Yes, we need intelligence, expertise and proffessionalism in leadership, but, how do you address this issue is the one million question. When one ethnic group refuses to go to school and get educated, and another ethnic groug goes to school and attain to the highest height of education, intelligence and proffesionalism and you as a leader tries to recruit the later, you know in a country like nigeria you are only brewing for war. Every ethnic group want to be represented whether intelligent or not. So the question is how do we solve this federal character bullshit. On a deputy taking over from his superior(governor or president) if a case of relinquishing the superior's post arises, is it not in the nigeria constitution? Or do you want us to start going against our constitution? On jonathan's intelligence, is it just now that you are realizing that all nigeria's leaders both past and present are mediocre. You didnt know that during gowon, murtala, obasanjo, shagari, buhari, ibb, abacha and obj again's time? Or is this hilary clinton farewell speech this night the nice opportunity to come and campaign for buhari 2015? Haba! Afam you really surprised me this night. So, how does patience english affect Gej's governance? Is the first lady's english enshrined in our constition to make nigeria better?

Advocate and malawi may God bless you two plentiful. If yoruba people can see us as unwise like the fish in the can that cannever return to the ocean, instead of us to prove them wrong, an igbo man will still see us that way, more so a so-called leader. Am just lost of words, when i keep on hammering that pointlessb just installed two yoruba puppets as our leaders, people thought i was just rantin. Their agenda is beginning to unfold, but, we shall rise against that Godwilling.
advocate666:

This is the problem we had with the ogugua girl. Certain positions require careful choice of words, but you two seem to act as if you represent only yourselves. Which you actually do infact because I can never resort to using your type of language when talking about my own people.

Even if I didn't posted much but the little I posted, I made comments that was in disagreement with Ogugua's appointment. But knowing her a little, I know she's very intelligent, has spirit of leadership. I know that you guys may probably be looking down on her age, seeing her as an inexperience lady who is naive when it comes to political conundrum. She may not ostentate her potentials to the fullest degree, but I beg you and other antagonists to learn how to live with it. Even if PDP rigged Jonathan in, as far as he won the election, no matter that the North strongly detests it, does it make him not the president? I know that the spirit of 'Igbo amaghi eze' may be in you, but please its just a matter of one year. Don't make only this year of their reign be ungovernable. Maybe next year we can vote you in as our eze. Ndewo!

Lmao..... Eze without an agenda..... This is the second thread in one week odumchi is opening for questions for him and ogugua without an agenda to pushstart the aim of the thread. Can somebody tell me the essence of this thread now other than every person especially the yorubas and eze promoe coming here to praise the so-called eze. What an eze bereft of ideas. I dont blame him anyway, it is pointlessb who singlehandedly installed him that i blame.

Brother nagoma are you now talking of compassion because an emir was attacked? but i have never seen you talk of compassion all these while that churches have been bombed and church-goers killed. I have never seen you condemned boko haram all this while, oh, because your emir was attacked now there is a word called compassion in your dictionary.
nagoma:

I conclude that you are not worth discussing with.. Your statement above is most insensitive, callous and cruel, that pretending to fight BH can stop a leader from sympathizing with his bereaved citizens and community. A community that he failed to protect. I would rather talk to animals. They have more compassion than you and your clueless President. So long! : angry

Imagine a beautiful girl like you ijebabe whom all men can kill to get going for a fellow woman. If your mum was a lesbian and your dad was a gay, do you think they would have given birth to at all not to talk of running from one thread to another fighting for a pervert right. Please change your sexual orientation or go seek for biological and spiritual help before its too late.

All these human rights group self. So every man can do anything he wants to do because of his right? Then since the are fighting for gays right, they should also fight for the incestous human right, they should also fight for bestialility human rights*man to animal*, they should fight for legalization of weeds, they should fight for boko haram rights too bomb freely, they should infact fight for every human right in the world so far as that is what gives every human joy let us see were we will end. Why choose some perverse way of life and condemn others, is it not the same human right? The day they will pass the law in nigeria to legalize gay i will start my own human rights and fight for boko haram right to bomb, by the way it is their way of life and orientation too. Let us see were the society will lead us too at the end of day.

Lol.... All these obj boys on nairaland attributing every major setback to Gej on obj. Obj is dead and gone in pdp. Goodluck should just be wary of the governors under pdp than obj. He should sway the governors to his political camp and leave obj to perish in political bewilderment like obj also did to atiku after 2003 elections. Obj is long dead, buried, gone and a past tense in nigeria politics. Someone who could not influence his daughter's election to the senate, someone who does not have the control of pdp in his state then what can he do nationally.
Family / Re: He Beat-up His Elder Sister For His Wife by donchris369: 7:16am On Jan 17, 2013
Am happy we still have reasonable people in nigeria and not people from broken homes who beat their parents and siblings for whatever reason.
Family / Re: He Beat-up His Elder Sister For His Wife by donchris369: 11:12am On Jan 16, 2013
For all the men claiming to be very lovely and caring to their wives than i am are all big hypocrites. You can kill your siblings and your parents for your wife, that is all your businesses. As for me, i still stand by my word, never and i say again never will i beat my elder sister because of my wife. What makes me a man is to be able to manage love, marriage and reason to the betterment of myself and wife. What if something happens to me(God forbid), then the wife will now go back to her own family abi? I laugh for all you men who beat up ur parents and siblings because of your wife. Yes, you have to love and protect your wife, but, be a man, never you resort to violence because, it is still that your wife that will suffer the aftermaths.

My dear, stop wasting your time explaining to nairalanders, many of them are hypocrites. They have refused to pinpoint the fact in your post that the woman was talking trash about the husband's elder sister, but are all justifying the beating to the extent of dripping blood by the man. It is well. Women will always be women. If you bring mother-in-law issue, they will comlain, you bring siblings they will complain, but they like their own mother and siblings to always be with them. When the man does the same, they will say he does not love them. Ok! I thank God for my family, everyone from the both divides are fully accomodated. That is an understanding man and woman.
wlex8:

Already in the post that the issue has been going on for a while "His family would love to have him and his wife separated if possible and this has been going on for a while, they believe she is not a good wife"

One of the issues they had with the wife is that she doesn't want any of his family to come to their house, no regard for the mother-in-law etc
