@joomlaman: Thanks for the links. I've had a look at those documents and the one that partains to what I need is the doc contained in Link1. Most of those services that involve first typing a star then a series of numbers (usually three digits) then followed by a hash or star , e.g *123# , are in fact USSD based services. Im building a mobile airline ticketing service for my client using Java and it is based on USSD . I would like to know how does one got about applying for USSD short codes from the GSM networks ? |

Well based on your specs and the nature of your websites, I would suggest you go for standard web hosting packages. But if you do want a dedicated server package then I suggest you go for a shared package to keep the costs down. Ive use this company www.rackspace.co.uk, and they got good 24/7 support and are quite good . They will also call you in Naija to fully ascertain what you need, plus their prices are reasonable. |
