When Hosting is simplified, this is what happens....WHOGOHOST !! |
@dafthtml If you choose to leave it as it is, why are you announcing a facelift. Look at you, you are frustrated and it shows, you have no clue on what to do with your life, its time to start your cassava chipping programme. |
@datfhtml erm I take it that your blind as well as being stupid, since your a staff of trudigits (after initiall disclaiming that your not, why ?? are you ashamed of being associated with trudigits ??) please enlighten us about this post: netghost: ...customer service for trudigits used to quick and on point but for reasons best known to them, trudigits suddenly answers complaints at its own discretion... another thing that bothers me about trudigits is the missing phone number on the contact page... |
@sology lets say I have a vested business interest with them ![]() @dafthtml Im amazed that people dont know about WHOGOHOST, anyways thats about to change, cuz they are about to make their presence known on this forum netghost: customer service for trudigits used to quick and on point but for reasons best known to them, trudigits suddenly answers complaints at its own discretion.....another thing that bothers me about trudigits is the missing phone number on the contact pageThats the kind service you get from a one man company, who is out to exploit people !! 7,700 for 2GB (whereas whogohost 2,000 for 2GB) and you still get crappy customer service ! |
@dafthtml I hope your getting your rent money from trudigits for all these marketing stunts you and your friend are pulling ? How come they are only two likes from every positive comment about trudigits ? Think its time for the big boiz (WHOGOHOST) to come into this. Tomorrow should be a very interesting day on this thread. |
@cryptic well said !! there's no need to apologize. For those that are ranting saying that Nigerian web developers are innovative or creative, they are just on cheap drugs, really cheap ones. The truth is that there are very very few Nigerian developers that are actually worth their salt. The remaining 99% percent are just hacks who believe once they've learnt about programming on W3schools or can use a CMS like Drupal or Joomla or open up notepad and type HELLO WORLD they are automatically gurus. They know nothing about software development methdologies, models, approach, version tracking or even how to carry out UAT(user acceptance test). They think that because people like Zuckerberg,Gates and Jobs dropped out of school and became succesfull therefore they too can become like them by learning stuff on their own and become innovative or successfull, that is a big lie and a very dangerous path for them to follow. If you examine the universites (Ivy league) and the curriculum that Zuckerberg and co. went through, you would find out that they were exposed to cutting edge development practices, technologies and a variety of fundamental subjects areas from Fuzzy logic & Neural Algorithms to HCI(Human Computer Interaction) to SDLC (Software Development Lifecycles). They absorbed all they were TAUGHT, put it into practice and decided that you know what, I can take it from here on my own. Take a look at most silicon valley start-ups, why is is that a significant number of founders/ceo's are dropouts from Ivy league universities ? Till these Nigerian developers begin to look at software/web development from a process driven perspective and understand that being innovative is by producing creative solutions to existing problems, that is when they can actually be called innovative or even developers ! |
@cnairo Are you inherently stupid or naturally dumb ?? Did you not see my other post. |
@kodewrita What are your thoughts of an auction site where people can bid and sell items ? |
Ait I stand corrected then, just getting to hear about flegz and watchlocker. By the Kasuwa is not owned by dealdey, you need to check your facts, It is owned by Rocket. |
@dafthtml My clients & work beg to differ. Howz .net coming along ? You said the upgrade or facelift would have been done lastfriday, till date nothing. Does your incompetence know no bounds !! |
The feature he is talking about, if it is to be implemented, will it not be through coding/programming ? If you have nothin constructive to say or add then phem !!! |
Trudigits: 7,700 for 2GB Whogohost: 2,000 for 2GB ermmm am I missing something ?? |
@Sology lol...nah..theres no beef, but what I've promised my self is to expose these self promoting hacks for what they are. Simple !! |
@Javanian Common sharap der !! 4bobo actually has a valid point . |
@ kodewrita I dont get what is a poor example That a highly successful internet company has brought an e-commerce model into Nigeria from a country similar to ours. Please be a bit constructive in your arguments mate. Have a look at their payment methods, they are the FIRST Nigerian e-commerce platform to implement the payment method where you pay for goods by cash when they have been delivered to you ! |
@sology But isnt Whogohost the same company that designed and built jobberman , so what are you on about?? Your claim that they lack the expertise is unfounded. Theres no need to reinvent the wheel, if the web template fits their needs and purposes then why not use it ! Trudigits should actually take a leaf out of their page and buy a template, cuz the design of trudigits sucks !! Whogohost are the best. GBAM !!! |
@dafthtml Well Ive got the bankstatements to prove it MATE !! What dirty portfolio do you have ?? Your still smoking that pot abi... Better wake up!! I think you should listen to your master, BOI !! So it seems that apart from being disillusional you're even a lapdog. |
@dafthtml who is the 'we' my stupid friend ?? You're the only one posting, its a fact, you're disillusional and not in touch with reality !! You are a self promoting hack that loves to copy and paste articles unto this forum in order to portray yourself as knowledgeable. When in fact if we should take your best work till date : dhtlextreme.net, one can tell that you are a HACK . Positive contribution my foot ! WAKE UP !! I suggest you stick to your GSM casing business or it cassava chippings (you actually seem knowledgeable in that area, if you need a loan I could sort you out MATE) and leave this field to the pros. COMPRENDE AMIGOS ?? |
Now, thank you all so much for your reviews - i am feeling very proud of trudigits right now (almost as if na my company - hmmn, maybe i should apply there). I am not affiliated to trudigits, but i will be proud to be associated with them. But, as you people can see, i am not the only customer that trudigits have, and if it has been a nonsense company, you would have seen people throwing stones at me right now. And yes, this is not an advert, it is a review that has gone very well.
From your own perspective mate... your perspective . All I've read is that people have bought from them (or rather scammed by them, how can you pay 7,700 for 2GB ??). WHOGOHOST is the best, if they werent why would jobberman host with them ?? |
@abubaka I tip my hat of for you !! Thats a great insight. It nice to see that there are people with such great insight . Carry go and climb up the ladder. Aim for the stars my friend , even if you fall short, at least you would have left the ground and passed the heavens. @guru01 Well said !! I routinely get called by my business associates to help them interview candidates for software/web development roles, and I can attest to your point that majority of these lads know nothing about problem solving . Imagine asking undergraduates from top universities and software developers about SDLC or UML and they know nothing about it, even OOP concepts such as Classes and Polymorphism and they still know nothing. We need to start developing our own content , look at what is happening in the e-commerce landscape, over the last couple of weeks we have witnessed the launch of not just one but two e-commerce platforms; Kasuwa.com and Sabunta.com, by a southafrican company called Rocket. We need more locally developed apps such as jobberman and dealdey. Nigerian developers need to stop building apps based on foreign models and expect the Nigerian demographic to adopt to it, instead they should build apps that address the needs of the Nigerian market. Only then can they be successful! ! |
@Morrelinko I beg to differ, to think that trudigits should be among the top 5 web hosts in Nigeria is nothing short of a big LIE. Nairalanders please dont be scammed by people trying to promote their business (if you can call it that ) or that of their friends . Let me highlight a number of areas where trudigits falls short: 1. Its a one man show. 2. Inability to register for .com.ng domains 3. The pricing is outrageously high, trudigits sells 2gb for 7,700 whilst whogohost.com sells 2gb for 4,000. As you can tell trudigits pricing is actually twice of what is in d market. 4. Poor overall design of the website. 5. No physical address or business footprint (are they even a registered business entity ?) whogohost.com is the best in the country and these are the reasons why: 1. Excellent customer service, their call centre staff are very friendly and they resolve any problem you have within 24 hrs. 2. You can register for any domain name you want. 3. Their pricing is very very reasonable.(4,000 for 2gb..thats a sweet bargain) 4. They are not a one man show, whogohost is owned by ennovatenigeria, the company that designed and developed the highly successful job website, jobberman. 5. They do have an office in lagos 6. The design of the website is ......SOLID !!!!! |
I would honestly say that the best in Nigeria is WHOGOHOST.com, they arent a one man show and their service is on point. Their customer service is second to none. U get sms notifications in regards to your account and they are there 24/7 to help you get started with you hosting package. They are the best in the country !! |
@symbiaon3 spot on!! |
