Politics › Re: Revealed: “In Three Years, NNPC Generated N8.1 Trn, Gave Nigeria N4.3 Trn by dondo83(m): 12:11am On Jun 30, 2015 |
2n2k: The figures were actually provided by the NNPC itself.
However, the spin given to it by Oshiomole is political. Oil is extracted at a cost. Crude oil is God-given but getting it to the surface is serious economical and technological activities. Since NNPC is joint owners with the operators of the oil wells, it must share the cost with them in form of cash calls. Substantial part of what NNPC was said to have retained must have gone into that.
NNPC is corrupt but not on the level it is being portrayed here. you miss the point, money generated by nnpc shouldn't be spent with discretion of nnpc officials. The process goes like this, nnpc creates a budget of lets say 1billion or even 1trillion a year, the budget needs to now be perused by the fg and national assembly if its acceptable or not . when all the parties come to an agreement (for example) that we have approved 500billion for the year for nnpc , what is expected is for nnpc to withdraw ONLY the approved budget of that 500billion and remit whatever is left to the FG's account. With what was told in the report , that wasn't what nnpc did . |

Family › Re: Lusting After My Husband's Cousin by dondo83(m): 11:29am On Jun 26, 2015 |
biaka1994: Please I just need your advice or advices which ever of them. I met my husband in 2013 things were going on well and sweet. We normally make love almost every minute of the day so much dat I got used to it. When we got married and I got pregnant my husband became so cold towards sex I thought maybe he was scared of my pregnancy. Some times i'll have to beg him to make love to me. After much begging he'll reluctantly do it. I gave birth and I thought things would change but it's all the same. I keep begging and begging I have just decided to be myself and take my mind of it. The only person I talk to is his cousin and have become so close to him that am beginning to lust after him he is married tho but he lives close to us. Just this evening I nearly kissed him and I felt so embarrassed. Please guys help me it's Getting out of hand. What do I do? Please no bashing we all are humans and we do silly things atimes.
Cc: Lalasticlala many reasons trigger a man from not wanting sex from his wife, only the married people will understand. i will list a few 1. Do you nag? 2. Are you a reasonable wife that supports the husband financially ? 3. Do you carry out your responsibilities at home (cook clean , take good care of your baby) 4. what is your relationship with his family ? is it cordial? unless a man is possessed if you do all this including keeping yourself sexy for him. you wont have any problem . unlike women that speaks from their tongue when angry , a man tries to reduce collateral damage and as such keeps things in his mind. After a while it turns to hate or resentment and that can kill the sex life. retrace yourself and pray . Things can get better again |

adehsenior: I am based in Taraba and across trading of products like sesame seeds and melon can be very lucrative if bought and taken to places like Lagos. 1.5 to 2 million should give us upto 10 metric tons of sesame seeds (100 bags) which can give a profit margin of up to 400,000 per trip. Melon is also a good investment. 08130690141 or 07085510627 lets discuss I can send you a feasibility studies within the week if interested. i will contact you |

I honestly don't understand why people are bothered about what the likes of barcanista write here.. I feel a lot of people (both apc and pdp) haven't come to terms that power has changed hands ...lol. we are not campaigning until 2018 so both parties can be sensible by putting up constructive ideas and policies that will move our nation forward . You will be surprised on the calibre of people that come on to nairaland to get a feel on how the youths in the nation reacts to new policies and governance. We are in the tech age and rather than showing ill mannered attitude by abusing each other , we should hold our leaders accountable at all times. Buhari is here for good four years (minimum) and wasting your megabytes on senseless arguments only enrich the pocket of empty hen and co .

i need a good business idea that i can invest 2-5m naira in abuja. i also have land(1200sqm) in kuje that can be useful and a warehouse in karu market (though i have tenants at the moment but i can decide not to renew the rent in december) that can also be useful. I am an estate developer and will prefer a business that can be done without my daily supervision . I have invested in a cold room business and saloon which failed so i wont be welcoming both ideas, also a distributor for an fmcg and it wasn't profitable as well. I will appreciate "experienced entrepreneurs" advice. Thank you.

abdulwastecx: without a proper soil test no land or foundation can said to be ok for foundation of a building the reason been that soil exhibit lot of complex properties.
soil text may not be recommended for small building project like yours but sufficient depth of atleast 600mm is recommended for a bungalow built with load bearing partition wall.
soil within abuja and its environs has high clay contents, during the raining season, the soil closer to the ground exhibit wetness because the clay doesn't allow the water to sink down into the ground ( creating a fadama kind of ground). During the dry season the soil quickly dries up to give an impression of solid soil or ground for foundation. well said, this is why most walls starts swelling after a few years and also moist |

Agriculture › Re: Tomato Production And Marketing. Facts Backed With Figures by dondo83(m): 9:57pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
jeffmyson: To be candid, no tomatoes farm will yield 100 tons per hectare unless it is grown in a green house. Dangote farm postulation is just a pipe dream and that is why farmers in Kadawa, Kano refused his seeds and asked him to try it out on his demonstration to see how it works first.
The problem with most young farmers is that they want to become overnight millionaire in farming business! It just does not work that way. We have people who just want to attend a 3 hours seminar and then start their own farm immediately and most times they always fail. They are deceived by those peddling those seminars and when they finally go into it, they find out its not that easy and profitable and they end up frustrated.
Farming is a vocation and it takes time and experience to become very profitable. read some of your post and saw your location is abuja. I will like to have your contact for some investment ideas(farm produce). you can reach me with ceegee22000@gmail.com or better still can i have your email? im also in abuja at the moment. cheers |

Politics › Re: The Emptiness Of Their Justification For The Name-calling Against PMB by dondo83(m): 7:33am On Jun 14, 2015*. Modified: 9:51am On Jun 14, 2015 |
plendil: “Its payback time” said one of them. “Now he will know how it feels like when they were calling GEJ names”, said another.
Their chief protagonist even opened a thread trying – hopelessly – to explain away the actions if his minions by highlighting quotes purported made by the opposition against his principal.
Which brings me to the question: Is this what the heat against PMB is all about? Payback?? IS that it?? Is that the essence of opposition??
Let us for the sake of argument consider the allegation of name-calling against GEJ: A careful analysis of the trend will show it certainly was not as early into his (GEJ's) tenure as what obtains now with PMB. (just for the records, the latter is exactly 16 days into his tenure.)
GEJ was sworn into power as substantive president on May 6th 2010. I can clearly remember him riding on unprecedented support and goodwill from virtually every section of the country. Indeed all the quotes from Barcanista are from 2013 upwards, almost 4 years into his tenure.
So, other than inconsequential slips here and there, there really nothing the current occupant doing wrong, as aptly captured by nollywoodbabe https://www.nairaland.com/2378246/sadly-enough-nothing-criticize-president#34746776. Their only platform for criticism is that its payback time.
HABA!!! That you hate the country so much and will be willing to sink it come what may ought not to preclude your ability to be at least marginally reasonable in your antagonism. Please!
Such petty, shamelessly overt vindictiveness is fiendishly unpatriotic. It is evil.
I’m not given to repertoires, so I’ll just end with this: PMB is not the president of APC, or the North. He is the president of the Federal Repulic of Nigeria. It behoves us to give him all the support.
GOD Bless Nigeria! well said op! when i see such people display foolishness, i just look the other way. Wisdom cannot be imparted. Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else ... Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it. herman hesse |
