Pacify: Unless you identify a real need to want to stop it, I'm afraid there's little or nothing u can do. Besides, masturbation isn't a sin as far as I can tell, it has no side effects and if u read medical and psychological books, they tend to confirm these facts.

i always feel guilty after doing it

I have been stuck in this evil shell for the part 8 years i have tried any possible way i can to stop it but all to no avail.sometimes i take it as a normal way of life.i have listened to several messages against it, i have read many books, i have been counselled, what haven't i done .i have even asked God to punish me if i try to do it again just to threaten myself from doing it. One suprising thing is that nothing really sparks off the urge in me most of the times it occurs spontaneously. Many a time i had made up my mind to stop this afterwards give me at most 2 weeks and i will start feeling heavy and the need to discharge, also something in me keeps telling me that if i can abstain from it for 6 months i will see positive changes in my life. To me, this sounds like passing a camel through the eye of a needle because i have not even gone a month without it for the past 8 years. Can i really stop it. Pls help

I have been applying for internship programme so that i can go for Nysc,I have gone to several hospitals for interview but i was not taken, even where my colleagues go and are easily taken, mine would be different. The one that really made me cry was a place i went where i know a member of board of the hospital but i could not get it.
