How long does the 1.5gigs last? Assuming you dont exhaust it, can it last a month? And again i heard it can't download past 20mb files, can anybody confirm?

The code works but not for all airtel lines. They have to send you a msg 1st before you can do it, otherwise you'll see sorry you are not eligible for this offer.

My guy what you will do is after you subscribed the unlimited stuff, you'll get 2gigs but it probably won't work. So, you recharge N100 and subscribe to 10mb by dialing *141*712*11#. After u have done this, you will be able to use all your allotted data. Hope this helps? To subscribe the unlimited bis you dial *440*16# and it costs N1500

look at this guy. What kind of phone do you use pls? No matter how hard I manage my data I use at least 100mb a day, add it for 30 days you get 3GB. That is if I manage like mad.

Pls read previous opinions here before you start whining and complaining. That airtel 6gigs is working perfectly on PC,androids and any device you can think of. Just read previous threads and u'll find the solution. I use the same airtel bb unlimited in windows phone and it's working well.

snoopy: That's not the only difference. *440*161# is actually a promo. Subscribe 1 month, get 1 month free (I.e 2 months) hence the 4gb allocated to that subscription. u can only subscribe for this once! After then u won't be eligible for it again and will have to use the regular subscription which is *440*16# for 2gb.
P.s Everybody is eligible for the 4gb as long as you haven't subscribed and used it before and can only be subscribed for once.

It's not true. Everybody is not eligible to do it, they can confirm here that some of them have tried it and it didn't work, they received msg like sorry you are not qualified. The one that is promo is 2 for 1 in which you get 6gigs for 3k.

That's what am saying, that on the other plan, 100 bucks will always give you 9mins whether you finish it a day, two days, four days. So in effect, the new tariff plan is good if you make at least 4 mins calls a day. But if you don't,then the old plan is better for you. Some ppl make less than 1min call daily.

propaco: the mtn bbcweek is working perfectly on my android phone and on my laptop.

well am also using the MTN BBC on my Lumia phone but it actually is very very slow compared to the speed I got when I tried my etisalat on the phone. Etisalat speed was phenomenal.

fruyi: Your former plan has not expired, you only exhausted your data size given (1gb or 2gb etc). Simply call customer care on 111 and tell them to deactivate ur former data plan... You will get an SMS that it has been deactivated... Then activate your new plan. QED.

Are you sure that deactivating this service won't take away the whole 2gigs given? It happened to me once before this "unlimited" plan came out. With BBC I tried to deactivate auto renewal by sending Deactivate to 440 and boom, my blackberry stopped working till I subscribed again.
