I said I will try and stay out of politics talk. That it's too divisive and breeds controversy but it's too difficult to watch people with bad and selfish motives decieve innocent silent readers and probably shape these people's thinking. I think I really have to do more in at least exposing the motives behind some people's support. Next year's election is just too important to be business as usual. |
Career nairalander.. ![]() That's a new phrase. ![]() |
Hmm
|
basilico:All of you maga are just mad. There is no nice way of putting it. Your heads are definitely not screwed on right. some nuts are missing. |
Dear nairalanders, don't fall for the obvious manipulation efforts of the tinubu campaign. for long, you were told that the APC campaign group employed a troll farm where they try to manipulate public opinion. The owner of this forum has consistently complained against the antics of this group. They open multiple accounts just to generate fake likes and comments to artificially boost the support of their failed drug baron. Don't be deceived by all these. When oshiomole said obi supporters were 4 people tweeting in a room, what he really meant was what you're seeing in this thread. A few hungry urchins paid to make noise on nairaland. They know normal people cannot love the drug lord the way ordinary Nigerians love Peter obi all over social media. They have to pay to get it. The masses stand strong with Peter obi who has become the vehicle for change in our politics. See the owner complaining below about the tinubu troll farm.

afrodoc2:A very fine boy with an over bright future.

Nice one. Obidatti is a goal. |
Please does anyone here know how to track someone with phone number? I just got the number that shared my credit from my phone which was stolen. Any means to track the thief with the number? |
Nostradamus1:Everywhere in Nigeria is unsafe, like, every single place in Nigeria. From the creeks and street of the south south in rivers bayelsa and Edo where cultism and militancy reigns supreme to the SE where kidnappings and agitation has grown multiple ugly heads to south west where bloodshed, street crime and occultism reign supreme to north central where kidnappings are a daily occurrence to the entire north where banditry, kidnappings, terrorism, excessive poverty reigns supreme. Besides, why single out a single region?? What's the motive behind that? Every single region of Nigeria is plagued by insecurity. I'm surprised you will specifically mention a particular region. We are now the second most terrorized nation in the world thanks to the incompetence of the APC which you still support till date. |
Itsrm:As I said earlier, nothing is wrong with talking about safety measures, but both your post's reeked of victim blaming and I think it's too early for that. I just think that one's first reaction to an unfortunate incident should be empathy, not victim blaming. You are outrightly blaming his mother for negligence irrespective of the fact that the grieving mother may very well be doing the same. |
Ibime:Christ ibime, what is this concoction wey you cook this morning?? ![]() It can't be well with you. You can't say these to your fellow man and go free. Lai Lai. ![]() |
The act of blaming victims immediately an accident occurs just doesn't sound right. That's all I'm saying. |
Itsrm:Click on this link below, you would see the children of foreign celebrities who lost their lives to unexpected accidents. Accidents are by nature random and unexpected. You may take protection and prevention and still be a victim. Just look at your post, are you saying that mother's of 3 year old kids should still ALWAYS be with their kids. That supervised periodical baby sitting shouldn't be a thing? Common!! That sounds like clutching of straws to me. Accidents can happen to the best of us. You could be sorted still on a position in your house and stray bullet hits you. Maybe someone starts asking, why didn't you have bullet proof windows? https://tinseltownmom.com/13-celebrities-whose-children-died-by-sudden-and-bizarre-accidents/
|
GloriousGbola:I have always said that I'm never a fan of victim blaming. The instinct to criticize when an accident occurs never sits right with me. For God's sake, its an accident. Accidents are by definition UNEXPECTED! You just said, that our celebrities here don't learn better protection measures from their counterpart celebrities abroad. But I'm sure if we look deeper, we will see a host of foreign celebrities who have lost their children to preventable accidents. We don't even have to look far, what of celebrities themselves who lost their own lives to accidents and drug overdoses? Don't get me wrong, the message of prevention and foresight is valuable but timing is everything! One can take all preventative measures and still fall victim to an accident. This reminds me of when my sister and kids died in a car accident, when we were grieving, someone came and was asking, was she over speeding? Maybe she wasn't vigilant enough, that we know that women are not strong drivers. It took another friend of mine to tell him to shut up! That that wasn't certainly the time for that. Also reminds me of people that were shouting "Japa, Japa" just immediately after the owo massacre where dozens lost their lives unnecessarily. I mean, the message of Japa in and of itself is not wrong but the timing of it was very insensitive. This is not a slight on you but constructive criticism not to blame victims immediately accidents happen. Empathy should be the foremost reaction. |
Amoto94, this is why I said a gorrilla is better ruling us than buhari. https://twitter.com/Ofonmbukituh/status/1587064316423028736?t=m0xtRXkPIobCorxOLzRkQw&s=19 Na sango go visit you if you don't watch this clip. I'm sure after watching this clip, nothing will ever make you support the failure again. |
But why would we be talking about the current problem in Lagos and someone would rope in Onitsha?? Wetin concern Lagos strike with Onitsha?? What sort of igbophobia is this?? You just can't resist the urge to always talk negative of a certain people or place. |
Hmn |
monerozi5590:Have you all lost your sense of humour or what?? So even simple banter can't be passed again? More so, is buhari not a catastrophic president? Is there any well meaning Nigerian who would say buhari has done very well? |
Amoto94:Quite true sha. But that doesn't still negate the fact that even a gorilla as president is better than buhari. True or true? |
GloriousGbola:This is what vexes me with people who claim to hate the west. Give them a visa option of Russia and america or china and UK and watch them rush the western countries visa. You know a country's ideals by how it treats it's own subjects. For fvcks sake, just look at the likes of Obama and rishi or the composition of American congressmen or the composition of British parliamentarians and see the sheer level of diversity and meritocracy with your eyes. Now take a look at the composition of Russian leadership and Chinese leadership and tell me if you will see a single soul not from these countries. The Western countries embrace all and sundry from around the world and rewards their efforts unlike in any other part of the world but these Same people who all week to get there keep hating on the country. I don't just get it. |
Ibime:That's not the sum total. 2nd, The phone is costlier than that, then the information on it is even important. All these make me yearn recovery and discovery of the thief. |
larride:Let me see how tomorrow goes sha. |
seankafor:I really hope you learn from what he said. Your irrational hate towards anything "west" shouldn't make you blind to reality. |
OasisX:Of course. I'm just really glad that there's really a tangible thread to pull now. I believe that tracking phone number is easier than tracking IMEI number. |
OasisX:Yeah, just that this one I'm seeing "officer". It's already making me feel like maybe na olokpa wey run this matter. ![]() |
Oasisx, expert17 and gloriousgbola, I went to MTN office yesterday and did welcome back for my SIM, I had earlier discovered from my bank, that the thief had used my SIM to purchase airtime of 20k 8 times from my bank which he now used to transfer the airtime to another number. At the MTN office, they discovered the 2 phone numbers that received the transfer of the airtime. I now used Truecaller to identify one of the numbers as officer sade. I'm now thinking whether to use my hand and bait the thieves or give it to the police men I'm already working with. Any ideas? What is the best course of action to take with the 2 phone numbers I have discovered? |
I'm sure the paid and sponsored mod will take this thread to the front page despite it being obvious that the tinubu troll farm is at work. One handler, multiple accounts, liking and talking rubbish to manipulate public opinion. Evil people |
raumdeuter:First of all, whose picture have I posted here? Secondly, every single problem I've ever had with nihilist was started by him. Like, every single problem. But of course, I understand your grouse with me. Me constantly calling out your very hateful rhetorics makes me your perceived enemy. |
Gboy1026:Let him be. This actually makes me see the immense value of folks like oasisx, expert17 and gloriousgbola who set aside all differences we've had over politics and let their emphathy and humanity shine through. I understand that some people especially a self professed "nihilist" lacks empathy. His moniker does accurately portray his personality so I can rationalize his meanness and lack of empathy and humanity in the face of human disaster. I do commend you anyway for being the first person who had the gall and guts to call out his wickedness. It's actually a bold gesture in this space. |
nihilistjnr:All I can say is thanks and God bless. Have a nice day. ▶︎ ●────────── 0:08 |
Theflint1:Yes. It did. |
It's good that all the PDP bot accounts are exposing themselves. Makes it easier to ban permanently. Evil people that support a dead party. All for how much? |
