APC has become an existential crises to the unity of this country. The stratospherical level of divisive propaganda sown in the hearts and mind of people of Lagos is one not seen since Hitler's Nazi Germany. The sheer level of hate directed to a group of people so as to give them a common enemy and see you as the answer is one that portends serious danger based on the legacy effects it would have. I am calling on all my Yoruba brethren on this thread. The learned and educated amongst us to join hands in speaking against this. To join hands in condemning all what we're hearing.. This is now beyond rhetorics, this is transforming to actions. Please speak out against the hateful rhetorics and malignancy against the igbo people in Lagos. Oasis, raumdeuter, nihilist, afrodoc, gloriousgbola. Please join me in condemning these hateful narratives by evil propagandists in Lagos.

BlueRayDick:You seem well grounded in Lagos politics. How come? |
OasisX:Oasis, I asked you a question, I didn't make a statement, I am asking you directly; Do you believe that the elections held on the 25th were free and fair? |
I didn't listen to the audio clip which laride was lamenting about till this morning. But when I did, I was furious that even laride will decide to partake in meaningless propaganda. That audio clip from the space was clearly talking about agberos in Lagos, in fact mc Oluomo was name checked. So why would they give that audio clip an ethnic coloration?? The person was shouting we must take over (obidients) in this case? And is that not your usual political talk? Have we not severally spoken about Lagos being taken away from the firm grasp of cronyistic godfatherism? One where one man has completely dominated the political space of the richest state in the country. Putting his family members at the juciest positions, enabling corruption at every level and heavily gentrifying the state between the economic classes? So why on earth was that given an ethnic coloration?? I keep saying it, the APC has become an existential crises to the unity of this country. |
OasisX:Oasis do you believe that the election was free and fair? |
OasisX:Of course, you would support criminality. The rat would be like; ![]() 7 killed as thugs viciously attack voters LP agents murdered at their homes in Lagos. ![]() 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Continue doing you bro. |
History will remember this man as the man who brought democracy to the common man, who made an okada man become a parliamentarian. Who won elections without spending bullion van of cash. Who was genuinely loved by all and sundry. History will indeed be kind to this gentleman of timber and caliber. Mr Peter Obi.
|
OasisX:First I really want to understand the smiley emoji before this post you've made. Secondly, isn't this world a funny world? We have gone full circle from you criticizing me from always highlighting the evil things dayo said to now outrightly defending them now and justifying it. I always called you a rat for a reason. Of course you would think that this is justifiable. You would think advocating for igbos to be put in slave Labor camps like the Nazis did to a "people of certain blood" is justifiable.

stxrlight:Do you know him personally or something?what is wrong with the guy? Any known terrible history? |
VoteTinubu2023:Classic gaslighting 101. Of course Obi was rigged all over and that's a fact!! Anybody with a sense of discernment and honesty will agree to that. There is such a thing as voting pattern and thank God the evidence is right on our faces. It is very illogical that Obi would outrightly win Lagos, then get less than 10% in the next door neighboring state Ogun. That defies logic. It's very illogical that Obi would get almost 300k votes in Kaduna and then score less than 1 percent in the next door neighbor Kano with a voting population of 1.8 million. With the help of IREV, people are seeing discrepancies all over the country. Obi scored 19 thousand votes in ado ekiti alone, meanwhile his entire awarded votes in the state was 12,000. Let me not even talk about rivers. Listen, there is no need for us to argue whether Obi was rigged or not. Unless you choose to be completely dishonest with yourself, then you know that is the truth! As for the court judgement. Of course it is also rigged against obi. The BATstards like yourself are very proud of that fact. So why the attempt to gaslight as if you don't know the odds are stacked against obi? Obi was called a nobody, a noisemaker yet every tool of obstruction has been placed before him, all machineries of the state has been employed against this underdog. And only a bad person fights against an underdog. An empathethic person naturally gravitates towards or roots for the underdog. The question is, "are you"? Are you empathethic? |
VoteTinubu2023:Who are the "these people" you're talking about? What group of people? |
The APC keeps weaponizing tribalism this election. With Lagos as ground zero. They keep sowing more and more hate in people's heart, creating thousands more dayos that go out there hating on igbo people for no just cause. Serious problem is formenting in Lagos which if not nipped in the bud will result in wanton physical violence. The yorubas and igbos have a rich tapestry and history of inter marriage and partnership. That union is being threatened because the access to state levers of just one man is being threatened. Before tinubu, there was Lagos, a rich and prosperous place, after tinubu there will be Lagos, a rich and prosperous place. In order to rally support for himself, tinubu is giving his kinsmen a common enemy. A very similar playbook we've seen one too many times from power drunk monsters. Let's all pray we don't live to see the day this hateful narratives flying about matures fully. Tinubu has placed Lagos state on a boilerplate. It needs to be cooled again. The politics of hatred played by the APC needs to stop.

Okpansukka how far news in Enugu now? If frank and edeoga don't reconcile, PDP fit use back channel win that seat oo. Obi has seemingly endorsed edeoga, do you think that seals it or is the rotation still a pretty huge factor?? All the candidates just dey confuse una there. All of them are sharing their pictures with obi and then are using each other's alliances with chimaroke to undersell the others, wetin dey sup? ![]() I saw that frank nweke shared a picture of edeoga (LP) with chimaroke so as to demarket him, edeoga liked a video of frank nweke saluting chimaroke and praising him, meanwhile the PDP candidate mbah shared a picture of both of them, both frank and edeoga as boys of chimaroke. ![]() You sure say no be vote APC like this so? ![]() |
The political situation in the south east is a very very funny one right now.. How could the regional leaders be so blind to what was happening under their nose? ![]() Almost every single consequential political leader of the south east fought obi publicly and spoke against him, e come be like say dey no expect wetin dey sup for their own ground. Now they are begging him here and there. Reading chimaroke's latest tweet is the funniest thing I will ever see. . The man knows he's a goner already. Infact he has polluted every single person in Enugu that has contact with him.As for soludo, soludo will go down in infamy as the most foolish politician nigeria has ever seen. I've never seen someone sacrifice every ounce of goodwill on the alter of all things, PETTINESS! LIKE? If his letter condemning Obi was based on principle, one can understand, if he wrote a letter on why he thinks Obi is a bad person or not fit for office on something or the other, maybe past corruption or theft or anything at all that goes in contrary to what leadership should be, people can make sense of it. But everyone immediately saw his betrayal came from a place of selfish interest. He thought he should be what Obi was and now he has lost all political value in the state. Soludo is now on no man's island. Valentine ozigbo is shoe in for governorship that's if soludo is not impeached before then.. PDP has firmly been destroyed in the south east. From abia to Enugu to Anambra to imo and ebonyi. PDP is now a goner. Labor number 1, apga a second choice. Obi is about to dismantle the party he built and build another one. I think that it is generally a good thing that people winning elections in labor are those who didn't have to spend millions. The obidient movement has changed nigerian politics for good. On Saturday we move!! |
nihilistjnr:As predicted!! Another deliberate provocation to draw a harsh response then they start exchanging words where he starts insulting his mom and dogs. Even though this particular person has warned him to desist from engaging him oo. ![]() |
obainojazz:No I just can't find the picture again. Just repost it abeg. |
I see this propagandist is still bribing the moderators here to push his nonsense oshoimole propaganda to frontpage? Does nairaland do this for all candidates? How much is the going rate for frontpage exposure to political propaganda by politicians. It's a disgrace that all this person's post keeps getting to frontpage with speed of light. |
Honestly I don't blame any christian cleric that reacts or overreacts negatively during this election cycle.. The APC Muslim Muslim ticket is perceived as an existential crises to the Christian faith in Nigeria. When you think of the fact that a northern Muslim has ruled for 8 years and now a southern Muslim is posied to rule for 8 years after which a northern Muslim takes over for another 8 years. That's 24 years without a Christian representation at the top office on the country, you understand better the heightened fear of the religious folks.. Yes, 2 wrongs don't make a right but the injustice done by both major parties towards christians in the country is something that shouldn't be overlooked just like that. |
Please nigerians should beware of the APC propaganda media arm on nairaland. I just hope people are not falling for it. Many pro APC accounts you see here are not casual users\readers like you and I, they are paid propagandists used to shape and push narratives and pro party talking points. Please don't fall victim to the information war. |
Mickykarim:Your papa fake news. Go and Twitter and search his handle. You will see it for yourself. |
Seun what is happening? My pictures are refusing to load, it's redirecting me to verify I'm human. Is it a bug or what? |
PoliteActivist:Even though the coalition process was thoroughly botched, one can still point out the progress made from previous cycles which are indeed very visible.. Give credit where due so that your criticism can be deemed constructive. |
A twitter user by the handle @Our_ijawMandate has used the INEC results portal to calculate the results of bayelsa state elections in its 8 local governments and discovers that Obi won the state with more than 90,000 vote difference and APC not meeting the 25% threshold. Also noting that labor party cleared the house of reps seats against what was awarded to the PDP. Pictures below. |
Labor party on track to get much more national assembly seats that were illegally announced for many candidates. At least 30 more reps and 5 senators, imo state Senate and reps, bayelsa reps, akwaibom reps, ebonyi Senate and reps. And 7 rep seats in rivers including Hilda dokubo. When. All is said and done, labor will have about 70+ reps and at least 15 Senators. Not bad for a party without structure. ![]() |
After all is said and done, one still has to recognize the progress that INEC have made, Even though or despite the final stage being botched. No 1. Bivas (Bimodal voter accreditation system)The Bivas was truly a game changer in the sense that it severely checkmated an old common form of electoral malpractice. The random thumbprinting of ballot papers. One where bad faith actors would snatch ballot boxes to steal the INEC voting slips then thumbprint multiple times, the new law that stated that valid votes cannot be more than accredited voters of the bivas was also game changing. It made rigging more difficult, because whatever magic you wanted to happen, it must happen within the number of bivas accredited voters, and accreditation can only happen with actual human beings who had registered! And for the most part, it was very efficient. Very good development here. No 2. 50 thousand new polling units. The spread of new polling units across the country helped in 2 major ways, 1. Closer access to the polls or better convenience for voters and 2. Reduction of access to the polling units by bad faith actors. That second point was a major game changer. In previous elections gone by where there were fewer polling units, it was much easier for politicians and their thugs to visit the few polling units on election day and cause one trouble or the other, either voter intimidation, ballot snatching, delibrate frustration of INEC logistics to particular polling units, but with many more polling units, it had become increasingly difficult for a governor or his thugs to cover even a quarter of polling units on election day. This reduced their spread to the polling units. Their impact can only reach a few polling unit now. The opening of many new polling units across the country was a master stroke. Positive value all around. 3. The IREV. Obviously this was a failure last week but the thought process behind it was superb even though politicians frustrated it. This would have been the ultimate checkmate to governors power and manipulation. And it could still very well be. This concept has brought us up to par with modern democracies, in the sense that if it was working very well, we don't even need INEC to officially declare the winner before we know because from your home you could calculate the winner of the election. Just like in the US where the media houses have dedicated data analysts where they calculate the results at precinct level live as it falls in and they're able to make projections that very night. If the IREV had worked as expected, then Nigeria would have had a fair result! Mind you, not "free" seeing as lots of people were disenfranchised but at least fair, in the sense that those who indeed voted will have had their votes counted accurately and without final manipulation. But note that we are still seeing an impact of the IREV. The fact that they seem to actually upload the legit results now on their portal has enabled people to still make the calculations with a strong hope of the tribunal getting it right at their judgements and people knowing exactly which candidates won their units and wards. While we decry the failure of INEC in their coalition, we can also highlight the positive impacts they've made this far. Remaining humbly Obidient. PS; Use this link to verify your polling unit result and post this link on your WhatsApp for others to do the same and verify their polling unit results. https://www.inecelectionresults.ng/elections/types |

obainojazz:Obaino, there was a certain picture you once posted here as to how the country would react if each candidate won. Can you please post it again. |
liveLongNprospa:I have. At least the areas around me. The results are actually genuine. At least the majority I've seen. |
Senior man Obi, just calm down, that certificate of return will be returned by force. Finally thank God say inec actually dey upload the genuine result's oo. As in, we're actually seeing the real results and we're now our own coalition officers. After this hard core evidence, something we've never had before, people will still say Obi is chasing shadows? Okay oo. INEC result portal is showing something totally different from what was initially called out.. I suspect that when all is said and done, labor will even recover more house seats, about 5 in port Harcourt alone. 3 in ebonyi with 4 senate seats, 2 in imo and ebonyi.. Time will reveal all.
