OkpaNsukkaisBae:Yeah, obi has to be step in here for Enugu. He is now a kingmaker in the region. Soludo in Anambra can kiss second tenure goodbye. Now, Whenever I hear all these things about region a candidate comes from, especially within states, I just shake my head. ![]() Normally this should be the last thing considered but it's such a big deal. Micro zoning inside micro zoning. ![]() Even local government chairman, people will still be talking about it going between villages. Is not as if when the leaders go there, they remember their region sef. They are usually all as bad for everybody.. |
Good point.
|
People of enugu are seriously confused on who to vote for. Many of them are linked to chimaroke and chimaroke has become political poison in the state. His endorsement is now a kiss of death. ![]() I think Obi has to make to make an endorsement here. People are torn between nweke of apga and edeoga of Labor and if that confusion gets to the polls, PDP will definitely win again. |
GrammarNazi1:Is this what a real "omoluabi" will say?
|
BlueRayDick:Very strong rebuttal and I agree. I saw that post and shared it here because I thought it interesting. But yes, I know that our democracy isn't ripe enough for strong ideological differences between parties. However I do think that the labor party can carve out a niche for themselves, both at the national assembly and state governments when they win some governorships and state assemblies. I am hoping obi would be a firm leader of the party that puts all party men in line and shapes them to be the kind of political leaders we desire. Even if the bills they sponsor won't pass, labor party has become the party of the youths and the actions of the members would be put under the microscope.we would like to see labor party members in national assembly sponsoring bills to reduce their salaries and try and reduce the cost of governance any way they can. That elected labor party governors can be the first to cancel these heavy governorship Post tenure benefits. Just let them try as much to be seen as leading by example and their appeal would spread organically. I know it's just my idealism at work but one can dream. |
WhoDeyHause:I honestly don't know how to respond to this because how the context of that post flew over everyone's head needs to be studied. If you read between the lines you see I didn't outrightly threaten him harm. This is akin to 2 people hearing that a woman was raped and one person starts finding ways to blame the victim, "was her door locked", why does she wear skimpy clothes? Why does she behave like a slut? At that point, being frustrated you tell the person, let your own sister be raped, let me know if you will still see it that way. That's the exact context of that post, infact my explicit description of robbers robbing him of his property and stabbing him in the eye should have made my point because that was a very well known incident. And mind you, them no dey chop respect here so you can put that where it belongs. If my post pisses you off, go and wee wee. ![]() |
My suggestion is that Labour Party should transition from a normal Nigerian political Party to a R3VOLUTIONARY Political Institution with a single mandate to Cause a Radical National Transformation in the country - nicknamed the Overhauling Party. LP should study other R3VOLUTIONARY Political movements across the world and bring such level of politics to Nigeria. The new LP senators and HOR members should not be "OH YES" Members in the National Assembly. They should never get into that pressure of building toilets in their Constituencies... No. Legislators are not elected to build infrastructure but to hold the executive accountable, make laws and interface between the citizens and the government. They should focus on doing the job of a legislator and put pressure on the executive to build and maintain infrastructure. Labour should have a functional Political Education Directorate - PED. The political education directorate shall be responsible for indoctrinating new members with the ideologies of the party. Political ideology is lacking in Nigerian politics. People join the "winning party" or the one they think can win. Enough of that. Every member of Labour Party should go through LP's political school, subscribe to their political ideologies and be able to evangelize the same ideologies to others. Everything LP stands for including Manifestos should be established on the party's ideologies - not solely on candidates personal desires/ideas. Nobody should be allowed to run on the platform of LP until they have gone through the LP political foundation School. The Labour Party should have huge control over its elected officials. If you win an election on the platform of LP, you cannot suddenly become more powerful than LP. The Party should charge a compulsory percentage of the salaries of her elected officials which should be paid into the party's account monthly. This will discourage Political money gamblers from running on the party's platform. And lastly, labour party should hold rallies quarterly - not just during election campaign seasons. Labour Party should be seen on the streets campaigning for a better Nigeria, protesting against bad government and relating with the common Nigerian on the street. The chairman should do house to house visits once every week. It should be on his weekly routine to visit at least 5 Nigerian families every week, interact with them and document their experiences. To be the game changer, Labour Party can no be just another BIG PARTY like PDP and APC... No. They should organise a Diaspora political interface where Nigerians in Diaspora can help shape politics in Nigeria for the benefit of Nigeria. Labour Party can do so much starting from now until Peter Obi reclaims our mandate through the courts. Copied. |
Magnoliaa:Who the fvck is this person and where have you been hiding since? ![]() |
raumdeuter:I actually do hope that one day you get to see that these type of comments coming from someone who will not be impacted by the nigerian government like we in the country, is down right condescending. You don't have the same stakes that we do. I just hope and pray you eventually figure this out. |
The very funny thing is that if I was saying this, it would sound like I was being controversial.. You make very solid points here. How did you come across this thread? I've noticed a recent influx of new commenters. Magnoliaa: |
Just see the nonsense happening in Lagos. And these people call themselves democrats oo. Imagine a political party weaponizing the state's civil service as a tool of voter intimidation. Threatening workers of the state. This nigeria is something else. https://twitter.com/fisayosoyombo/status/1631956858603724800?t=Py9ira_rX7cysEp1eYLrnA&s=19 |
Itsrm:Yes of course, you can't respond to the very insensitive and foolish post you made, you're looking for who go join you fight. Disstroy was very correct in stating that many of you who were forming neutral really weren't after all.. you've been defending the nonsenses that wike did because it favors you but no p. We see through it. |
So APC idiots would want you to believe that labor party rigged results in the south east? A party which they always shouted had no "structure" (rigging structure). So SE which was dominated by PDP politicians throughout, many of who were vocally against obi's candidacy, and many of who lost their elections, happened to rig for obi but forget to rig for themselves. 3 governors of the region and 7 senators lost their re-election but somehow rigged the result. ![]() Wonders shall never end. |
This rat, hoesis na better idiot finally. I never doubted that sha. |
Itsrm, please calm down and listen to this man and tell me what you feel about it. This is how the average nigerian fells about being robbed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt79TiSggCY |
I know say the fighter must chook mouth. Once him see my post, prick don rise. Don't worry I go soon prepare for you. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Omoo eh!! Some nigerians are just something else. Like, I just can't. We all agree and know that this election was rigged. But somehow because we've normalized rigging and accepted it as a norm, we want to make people believe that it is very okay and it should be accepted. So everyone who for months worked relentlessly and hoped towards a free and fair elections where our voices would be heard are now "irresponsible" for decrying the broad daylight injustice? Some people are just stupid. No other word to define this. It's only stupidity that would make someone to call people irresponsible for rejecting this illegitimate president. |
A001:Who are the Obi supporters I have attacked? And for what reason? My friend, your otemic stupidity has already been well established on this thread. Stop cementing that reputation. |
Itsrm:Of course, you can't even see how stupid that point of yours was. You cannot tell victims of a crime how to feel or react. And then call them irresponsible for calling for justice. It's a very stupid thing to do.. If people decide to protest, online or offline, they're very well justified in doing so, if people decide to call out the broad daylight robbery, they are right in doing so. What is wrong is calling people decrying the electoral malpractices as irresponsible. It makes no sense whatsoever.. And as for your misrepresentation of my post, that one na for your head. |
A001:Ask Otem for better understanding if you lack it and a better sense of discernment. If you read that post you will see it's a direct analogy with what we (voters) just experienced.. infact let me break it down like I'm speaking to a kindergartener. I said I hope armed robbers (APC) rob you, {APC stole our votes}. And they physically assault you and stab you in the eye, {reference to voters that were attacked by Tinubu thugs, especially the woman stabbed in the eye}, and people get to cheer them on {APC supporters celebrating the theft and the criminals (tinubu and wike and the likes)}. Let's see if you just accept it and move on. This was me illustrating exactly how voters feel now, especially Obi voters who have genuine reason to robbed. It is insensitive to tell victims of crime to just "forget about it". And even saying "responsible one's". That's idiotic no matter how looked upon. It is very right to decry the fact that we have an illegitimate president and hope for justice or recourse. That's actually the right response to what we've seen. |
BlueRayDick:It's always been proven right, the saying, you have to be stupidly wicked to still support the APC. Look at the frontpage thread and the propaganda the APC group carries out is just something else. Wicked people. Look at how Oasis is trying to make people accept stolen results, it's only a step in defending every single evil thing this APC government will do. People tend to forget how he was basically whitewashing buhari on the early pages of this thread until he was asked to stop being insensitive. |
Itsrm:Itsrm, what sort of nonsense is this?? Like, what is this? What kind of terrible mindset is this? Infact I pray that armed robbers visit your house this night, cart away your properties, physically harm you and stab you In the eye while at it, then let people cheer these robbers in your face and I hope you accept that armed robbery in good faith.. since you lack empathy and sense of discernment. Very nonsense mindset. Millions of citizens had their hopes dashed because of daylight robbery by these wicked politicians, citizens who travelled thousands of miles to vote, people who expended time, emotions and hope for their choice and you're telling them to just "accept it and move on". That's incredibly insensitive and very stupid. |
Oasis what do you think of the rivers state results?? What is your opinion about the result? |
. |
Mynd44:Seun this is your moderator! This is who allows the APC digital propaganda media arm led by seunmssg, Ihordspy, freestuff and the rest to run riot. Seun this is the moderator that allows paid writer propagandists like oikorida to run riot.. Seun I know he's one of the your hardworking moderators but he is clearly biased and a danger to the free flow of information on this platform.. please do something about this. I beg you. Stop letting the APC propaganda media team run riot on frontpage threads. |
45 days ago, I was called a mad man for this. It came to pass apart from the states we were obviously rigged in. Donjazet2: |
I think it's very shameful that the supreme court has allowed itself to be used as a political football.. Lawyers in Nigeria are just wasting their time. The law is ultimately meaningless and for the poor masses only. |
