Boss, the funding you will.get will be sufficient for you alone for now. Although I have no idea if you are going for masters or phd, however it is advisable you go there alone first and settle down. When you are settled, you can decide to bring your family over.

I am telling you from personal experience a friend experienced in my present location (not Canada though)...

Please go alone.first if you dont have extra cash to support your family...

Peace

Thank you very much

Thank you very much @temdogg. However, what if I don't get funding or partial funding ? Can I pay for just a semester? They offer assistantship jobs in the departments. Also, I believe my course if study is related to both previous courses despite my BSx being a very long time ago. Thanks once again.

Good morning house. I need input from gurus on the floor. I graduated with second class upper in Human anatomy Bsc 20years ago and went ahead immeduately to medicine. I'm presently finishing my postgrad specialisation now with no break in service. I finished MBBs 2005 and have been working since 2006 till date. I want to apply for MSc in an a to.y and cell biology at Usask or UBC or Uottawa. Awaiting reply from supervisors. Although UBC and Ottawa call their a molecular and cell biology. I have 2M in my account. What are the prospects and way forward. Thank you

Hello house! Just want clarifications. I have aBSc from one university and an MBBS degree (Medici e/surgery) from another university. I saw in an earlier post that a Pharmacist did not need WES to evaluate his degree instead its the pharmacy council in Canada. Can I use WES for both degrees(may save cost-2 stones to kill 1 bird) or I need to evaluate my MBBS with the physician and surgeons council of Canada, then evaluate my BSc separately with WES or just evaluate only the MBBS which may score higher on CRS?
I feel using both degrees will increase my scores . although I'm applying for Canadian Masters now. Thanx
Gurus in the house I'm still awaiting any answers or comments please. Thank u!

Unfortunately you can not use it cos your ielts form while filling shows a part "purpose" & "country".
That being said EE is General and not Academic
Thank you

hi everyone i'm new on this thread. i intend to get ECA from WES ,however i have 2 degrees. my 1st degree had a misplling of my surname on the certificate hence i only use the statement of result (since 1997). its my 2nd degree i'm using to work now and i have 9 years work experience. my question is will WES accept sttement of result? as the name on the certificate on the first degre had typographical error(one alphabet), because if i tender both degrees i will score higher points. the university is in the east and i think the process of getting a new re-issue certificate may take time and also i dont have off time from my job.

hello everyone.i've been following this thread with keen interest and i must say its an eye opener. my wife and i applied for visa in 2013 for onference but were denied because with benefit of hidsight now, i realised maybe because she was pregnant then and the VO asked her if she was going to the US for medical reasons but she replied "no". if i had known then what i know now, she would have said "yes". anyway she is pregnant again and EDD is nov.we wish to try again with info gained from NL.but i call MHIS and they said they no longer accept international patients. how did you guys get accross to them to get maternity package and quotations pls? thanx.
