If you can runs your NYSC, do it and come back to the telecomms job or less you are willing to settle down in the north. It's actually your choice but if you are an individual who is sure of what he wants then I don't think you should have a problem deciding. Don't look at the short term, look at the long term.

Waste of time. People should not be forced to waste 1 year of their lives on a scheme that hardly adds value.
If Nigerians don't want to do away with it, then they should either shorten the length or make it voluntary with higher allowances and pegged number of applicants to allow those who have no plans to gamble with NYSC.
What contribution are you making to the society by doing NYSC? Teaching students without dedication? Having fun?

Someone should please call them to order; it is very wrong. It shows clearly that HND and Bsc are not equivalent. But i thought FG said HND and BSc should be at par in terms of employment and job progression??

It's a global trend. Your university degree today is now equivalent to the high school certificate of those days. A university education helps in giving you skills that will be useful in any work place.

If he is good at programming, then he should get a job but it might just take a while. He should probably work on writing his own apps too

I use DOPC shared bandwidth too and I download at least a gigabyte every single day. Although they exhibit different problems daily, they are the most affordable for the quality of service provided.

Some of the so called failure of government are the failures of the people themselves. Imagine stealing street light poles or the proposed cameras meant for security? I feel surveillance cameras should not be a priority for Lagos streets, it is more of a priority for banks and stores now.

Our incompetence should be an embarassment to the Nation and anyone who blames the Nigerian engineer for his imcompetence might as well be a fool. Take a look at the hell we pass through called universities, the best of them have funding that is nothing compared to foreign universities but the Nigerian engineer is trying to make do with what he has that does not stop them being incompetent.

Why should I bother with Made in Nigeria when it is of low quality and will never last (Experience), the same with China products flooding the market.
