Because Femi Pedro teamed up with Obanikoro to denounce Lagos state elections, he has commited an impeachabel offence. If Femi Pedro resigns, it's ok cos I believe it's not worth it continuing with Tinubu since they have fallen apart (Remember his predecessor?). But for the house of assembly to say he has committed an impeachable offence for alleging threat to his life and denouncing fraud in the elections(unless if I'm mistaken), it's laughable. Shame!

Apart from l'uomo, where can I get nice designer frames. My last visit to l'uomo was unfruitful as they did not have nice stuff. Any ideas on where to get nice designer frames at reasonable prices?

Buses have turned roads to permanent bus parks, markets are dirty, medians meant for people to walk on have become garbage dumps, many roads have been surface patched only few like Lagos Island is being well done, numerous traffic agencies(purple,white and brown) - no result, multiple taxes etc, Tinubu has really done well. It's only the blind that would look at Lagos now and say Tinubu has improved Lagos. Even the blind sef knows that Lagos was better just before Tinubu.
I don't know why Nigerians are so ready to accept mediocre governance. Tinubu is ok as long as he shows he is doing something. i don't think our forefathers sef with their own level of education and practice of government thought that way.

I'm in Lagos o and I tell you that Tinubu has not performed. definitely he has to do something that people can see having being there for 8years and i think that's wat all this people that are supporting tinubu are seeing. they are acting the typical Nigerian mentality. There is a key to success is life they call sumthing like burning the bridges. If you hold on to the bank job, you won't pursue the career of your dreams with all your might. If you walk away from the bank job after setting a goal of what you are actullay setting out to do or you want, you would have no choice but to pursue that goal with all your might because you cannot afford to fail. Tinubu and many other governors are big time failures. I feel like taking a gun and shooting each of them 1 by 1 including OBJ. NOw Nigerians have a chance of throwing these thieves out and allowing new brains and younger brains take over but no.They distrust the young saying what can they do and they line up behind this same thieves.Sometimes I think Nigerians are the most stupid set of people. Considering the performance of PDP and Tinubu's Alliance of corruption AC(according to OBJ), they are not meant to command the kind of support they command now.
We are to be blamed for the failure of Nigerian leaders. People like me who failed to register to vote are to blame. People like those who would vote for the PDP and AC are to blame. Those old men who believe you have to be a true son of Lagos to rule Lagos are to blame. Those who are not ready to pick up stones and throw them at lying politicians during their campaigns. Those decide to be blind to the fact that nothing is working in Nigeria.
I wish we could show politicians that our votes do count by deciding not to vote for any of the well known parties like AC and PDP.

Even the Bsc u do here in Nigeria that they want to make 6 yrs for engr now, u spend 4 years in other advanced countries. HND here too is like 3 yrs of a 5yrs BSc course. the only problem is that there are no spaces in the university.HND holders doing better than BSc holders is not confirmed. You base ur data on feedback from few friends.When our fathers started the poly and university they were not meant to be the same and the number of years is still the same till today.It is not really about better privileges, it is about the quality of work delivered. If you are employed in the right place for which u studied (not mech engr working in oceanic bank) then u would receive the privileges of ur job. Agreed, that employers in Nigeria are brainless and just want BSc graduates, it is a temporary fix to say HND and BSc is equivalent.Education in Nigeria should be totally and rightly reformed. Nigeria is just too complex, i'm finding it hard to understand what i want to put down.

thats the problem with Nigeria. Instead of fixing things up like the issue of what polytechnic graudates are meant to do and why nigerian engineers can't develop anything, they try to patch it up and add more problems like wanting to equate polys and universities. Polys have their place in any country so also do universities. equating both of them would just be a temporary fix and when a new educated govt comes he would revert back to the right thing.If HND and BSc are not equivalent anywhere in the world, how come are they equivalent in Nigeria? see the Nigerian mentality? We copied this system of education from the whites and we are now trying to modify it to suit us and it sure won't work.Having an HNd is not an embarrassment but expecting similar privileges with that of a BSc holder is too much to ask.there are things a HNd holder should be able to do that a BSc can't and vice versa.

the reason you say govt. should pass that bill is because of the discrimination in Nigeria. HND and degree are not and cannot be the same thing.

Reading those definitions carefully, you would see that HND and degree are not the same thing. They should throw that bill out and do what is right with HND graduates.

If you are sure your windows XP is pirated do not complain about the checks microsoft makes to protect their business. Agreed, there are problems with microsft validation but bringing it to the Nigerian context a huge percentage of Nigerians don't have a licensed copy of windows XP and thats probably what he is complaining about or he tried to genuinize his windows XP illegally.

I would be fully convinced that some Nigerians need mental rehabilitation if IBB wins any political primary, talkless of contesting for 2007.
