A bank loan that is not to be invested is not worth collecting to me. It's kind of hard managing in the school you receive lectures but if it means u would stay there until you save to be able to pay ur accommodation urself, then do it. Unless you are being asked to leave I think the bank loan is not worth it at all. You might not be able to concentrate one bit on ur exams only the bank loan

If she did not get pregnant, would you have known she was cheating? It's painful to know you were deceived and lied to but sometimes it is safer if we forgive. The hurt would disappear in time. If you both TRULY love yourself which is hard to determine to me, then you can raise the kid as your own which also would be difficult. But if you know you can't stand her beyond some years like many new marriages are, you should bail and she should decide what happens to the baby

I believe I read it somewhere that if a man's wife does not know how to save, the man can never be rich. Everyone is looking to raise his status in life so it is expected that money suppose dey pocket before u go scope woman although moni should not be the primary motive for the woman to say yes but should assist.

NYSCRe: New NYSC Quota System: What Is Your Opinion? by donmayor(m): 9:45pm On Jul 22, 2007
Hope they scrap the useless NYSC before I graduate in 2 months time. It's a bloody waste of 1 year. Now you might have to wait at least 1.5 years if u r not lucky to get ur name on the NYSC list can u imagine? It's crazy. It seems no one values the youth anymore. They old men are bent on wasting our productive years doing nothing profitable. Like spending 6+ years doing engineering that should have been 4 years in the first place where u waste 6 months on another profitless venture called industrial training.
PoliticsRe: United States Of Africa (what Ur View) by donmayor(m): 6:50pm On Jul 01, 2007
The same Ghaddafi that rules Libya as if it is his inheritance is making noise about United States of Africa. With sit tight leaders like Ghaddafi, Mugabe and now Museveni, the next thing they would start fighting for is who would be the head of the USAfrica. Africa is confused and they should forget about forming a United States of Africa rather they should concentrate on telling themselves the truth and stopping the wars/poverty. Only 7 countries in the whole of Africa make the necessary contributions to AU. Now imagine if Africa was a single state, 7 countries would be responsible for its upkeep and definitely more money would be unaccounted for.
BusinessRe: If You Are Overpaid By Your Bank by donmayor(m): 5:43pm On Jun 29, 2007
I had to make 10k payment to my school in a bank for damages that I did not carry out. I entered the bank, filled a teller, had the teller stamped and walked out of the bank with the 10k in my pocket unknowingly. The next day I saw the 10k in my pocket and I was smiling at my good fortune. I had evidence of payment without paying. I knew the cashier would have to pay it from his pocket and I did not feel good with that even though the damages I was paying for was not justified. I had to tell my sister to return the money to the bank.
I would always return the excess if I am overpaid anywhere.
Christianity EtcRe: I Want To Know About MFM by donmayor(m): 3:18pm On Jun 24, 2007
I have been attending MFM for a while now.I once heard this from the mouth of Dr Olukoya - He said something like he knows demons don't die but when He prays prayers for them to die he means they should cease to exist in that particular person's life. So much has been said about the way they pray in MFM and the manner of prayer. I have questioned certain things that are being taught there and I still do question some but I have gotten answers to some of my questions. When it came to the issues of dreams, I listened to recent messages that Olukoya gave and he stressed repeated eating in the dream, repeated sex in the dream, repeated attacks in the dream etc, indicated somethings. When talking about why he does screaming prayer, He said he said there were many reasons for that including it enhances concentration which is very important in prayer, it stimulates your faith, shouting side being the winning side. He gave some other reasons which I can't remember. The fact that MFM prays shouting prayers does not mean they don't pray quiet prayers. I have been to many services where after certain teachings what was required was a silent prayer in your own words. Yes I agree that there has been an overemphasis on demons and powers which has led to paranoia in many members. What the church stands for and believes is not clear to many members who are after solutions to their strange problems. One of the reasons from the way I have heard him speak that he teaches in that way is because of the strange things and unbelievable things his eyes have seen as a pastor and when you listen to some of them, you have to agree with him that it is a cold and wicked world. No one says prayers against human beings n MFM but against spirits. The prayers prayed by Dr Olukoya have only been corrupted by members and pastors in the church who have no knowledge of the bible. I live like an hour drive from the main church at Yaba where Dr Olukoya ministers and I have a branch 5 minutes walk from my house. I attended the branch for sometime but when I began to listen to some strange teachings that had no biblical basis, I had to start going to the main church even though it cost me more fuel. The unashamed teaching of the biblical standard of holiness is what I like about MFM.

Christianity EtcRe: How Christians Pray by donmayor(m): 2:30pm On Jun 21, 2007
Prayer is a communication between you and God. If you pray anyhow and anyway and the word of your prayers follow biblical layout and you come to God with a pure heart, I don't think it matters if you jump up and down. You can pray like a gentleman with high sounding words and God would have no respect for you cos of your heart or you can beat your chest and cry out like a mad man for help cos you know he is the only one you can look up to and God answers.

I'm not a bible scholar but if u say Paul delivering them over to Satan means to kill them, then you are either confused or half educated. When Paul said somewhere in Romans 1 that God gave certain people up to the lust of their hearts, did he mean God told lust to kill them? He meant there was no more divine restraint on their sin that they can do as they please and the face the consequences. same thing with Paul delivering them over to Satan.
If you call Paul a false teacher, then you are calling about half of the new testament false?
If the same was said about Mohammed thereby calling Quran false, I can see a fatwa on my head.
It's senseless arguing about the color of Jesus cos it is not a basis for ur faith
RomanceRe: She Loves Me But She's So Ugly by donmayor(m): 12:06pm On Jun 21, 2007
If you believe like me that love is a figment of the imagination caused by factors in our control then you can conclude that you are the one that made her to fall in love with you. If you don't then want her, you can make her fall out of love sharply by revealing a different side of you. It is not breaking her heart, it's letting her know the truth.

Music/RadioKelly Clarkson - My December (for Kelly Clarkson Fans) by donmayor(op): 2:55pm On Jun 19, 2007
My fears were confirmed when I listened to My December, it wasn't as good as breakaway but it is definitely an album to get this year. It's more rockish than her previous albums. I think it's meant for broken hearted girls. Honestly I was kind of disappointed listening to the album after anticipating it for months.
I got this review off a site:

KELLY CLARKSON- 'MY DECEMBER'
LABEL: RCA RECORDS
RELEASED: JUNE 26TH
REVIEW BY: LOUIS TULLO

---------------------------------------------------
Kelly Clarkson’s latest offering, My December, is one of the best albums to come out this year and fills the gap that pop music has been lacking for a while. I hope this makes my feelings crystal clear after the media frenzy over the album, in which critics are comparing it to Lauryn Hill’s tumultuous MTV Unplugged album. In all honesty, both albums are excellent but markedly different. Straying outside the quite calculated music scene today, Clarkson delivers songs filled with the angst and emotion that is appropriate from a woman her age. In a day when the Billboard charts are topped by redundant and nonsensical hip hop tracks and dimwitted and calculated pop songs; Kelly Clarkson brings something real albeit dark to music. Consequentially, these tracks will indeed polarize audiences who are expecting another “Since U Been Gone,” a fact that is evidenced by radio’s strong aversion to the lead single “Never Again.” The lyrical and musical direction of My December will shock an integral audience of Breakaway that have a strong presence in today’s music scene – tweens. While it might have been cute for the same kids who made High School Musical such a success to be singing “Since you been gone, I can’t breathe for the first time,” it would be extremely odd to hear them chanting, “I hope the ring you gave to her turns her finger green.” The maturity of this new record, and single in particular, are geared to an older, twenty-something audience that can relate to the struggles of love, finding identity and loss, which are all central themes on this new record.
Another great aspect of this album is Kelly delving deeper into the rock genre to create harder hitting tracks than people heard on Breakaway. For instance, take “Hole” or “Judas” whose titles are enough of an indicator of what you can expect. Driven by hard-hitting guitars and Clarkson’s strong vocals, these songs show her innovative take on the genre. In addition, Kelly taps into the folk genre with songs like “Be Still” and “Maybe” that showcase her talent as a singer-songwriter in a stripped down way. With just an acoustic guitar and clever lyrics like, “I’ll gladly climb your walls if you meet me halfway,” in “Be Still” she separates herself as an artist. The songwriting overall is top notch here, with the pinnacle in the Grammy®-worthy “Sober.” Kelly sings, “And I don’t know, I could crash and burn but maybe at the end of this road I might catch a glimpse of me.” With it’s arching vocal crescendo that culminates in a chilling octave jump at 3:40 into the track, listeners are sure to get goose bumps. The album’s true closer, before the hidden track “Chivas,” “Irvine” is a beautifully executed song that drives in the poignant quality of this album in a gentle way. As Kelly pleads, “Are you there? Are you watching me?” you can only feel grateful for being allowed to see one of today’s most prolific artists baring her soul. This vulnerability is what makes My December an awesome album.

Track By Track
Never Again – Kelly channels her inner Alanis, delivering a song that would make any guy want to cry and hide in a corner. With impeccable vocals, fierce lyrics and a rock edge, it’s a strong statement to introduce a strong album.

One Minute – This is a great song with an addicting melody that would make it a great choice for a single. It actually is a quite interesting musical juxtaposition with the perfect sounds of a feel good track, but lyrics that are pretty dark.

Hole – If anyone doubted Kelly could pull off a true rock joint, this song should shut them up. With its blaring guitars, edgy lyrics and badass title this solidifies her stake in the genre.

Sober – In a track nothing short of brilliant, both musically and lyrically, Ms. Clarkson bares her soul in artistically beautiful way. Confirmed as the second single, radio should be hypnotized by the haunting strings and arching vocal crescendo of this track. This is Grammy-worthy stuff that places her on the same level as the great singer-songwriters throughout history.

Don’t Waste Your Time – This is without question one of the most poppy songs on the record, yet vocally Kelly commands this track in a way no other Top 40 artist could.

Judas – It just might be me, but I love these new song titles. Harnessing a style reminiscent of Pat Benatar, Kelly laments a man who betrayed her love. With a conviction of Biblical proportions she scream, “Down, you let me down.”

Haunted – Haunted is one of the most cleverly produced songs on the record that captures a sound brought into the mainstream most recently by Evanescence. This would be another great single choice with its addicting chorus and chilling lyrics.

Be Still – This very straightforward ballad is driven by acoustic guitar helps to both show of Kelly’s voice and vary the shape of the record, especially several hard-hitting tracks. It is also quite brilliantly placed in the track-order, serving to calm the woman in “Haunted.”

Maybe – Kelly debuted this song on her Addicted Tour in 2006. From the moment I heard it in that show, I fell in love with it. Its folk-pop feel is something new for Kelly, and will allow listeners to hear the influence of artists like Patty Griffin on her.

How I Feel – In this tongue-and-cheek track, you can definitely here the influence of Blondie as Kelly sings, “I don’t want to hear about your wonderful life … and your babies.”

Yeah – This Southern Rock joint is another track Kelly premiered on her Addicted Tour. Its anthemic quality translates great in concert and would be a refreshing change of pace to the hip-hop dominated sounds of radio today.

Can I Have A Kiss – The tender quality of this song is incredibly moving as Kelly sings as a broken girl who “can’t promise forever,” but “is working on it.”

Irvine – This track is put together like a musical prayer, with just an acoustic guitar and the right amount of reverb to accentuate every bit of emotion in Kelly’s voice. This is beautifully heartbreaking, as it sounds like Kelly is singing on the verge of tears.

Chivas – By far, “Chivas” is the rawest track on the record (I’ve read online that it was produced using Apple’s Garage Band software.) Heck, it’s about a brand of Whisky. It’s incredibly tongue-and-cheek which is incredibly evident in the chorus with the line, “So much for true love, I’ll take the Chivas instead.” It really is a treat for hidden track.
Go get the Album June 26th!

Nigerians have been duping Nigerians tete. Your story is not new o. Just 150k? You lucky gan.
Big B1 has said it all. Nigeria has a very bad image internationally. Until we let our light shine, the world would keep having a negative image about us and the only way we can let our light shine is dealing with the root of our problem in Nigeria - Corruption. Just look at the last general election. It is enough to reinforce the belief in the western world that Nigeria is nothing but a Nation of criminals and we are responsible for some of their woes.
God help us
