zionmde: Special happy birthday to my father in the Lord. I can't count how many times I got lifted up from a depressed mood to fight in faith after listening to 4 important virtues, I can't count how many times I shoved disappointment aside to keep shining after listening to Arise and shine. I can count how many times I was inspired to change ugly situations after listening to Time of change. I can't count how many times I sprung up to the awareness that I need to protect my salvation after listening to The kingdom the power and the glory. I can't can't how many time I averted danger by screaming the name of Jesus with authority because I listened to Power in the name
Thank u very much father I couldn't have made it this far if I didn't discover my true her it in Christian through ur teachings.
Happy birthday.
Pls don't insult me, to avoid taking ur name to shiloh this night. Men are not smiling |

dorox: I will always applaud any selfless act of kindness shown towards a fellow human in need, but not this charade of a show that looks more like a promotional drive than a selfless act of kindness. The title of the op already says it all. It was done in honour of the "Jesus of our time", Pastor Chris. Dont you know that we are the Jesus our time? We are His ambassadors... His representatives. We are extending His days on the earth. Isaiah 53:10 "Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days, and the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand."
So I am the Jesus that my world can relate with. That's actually our mission on earth. I can understand if it's an issue of envy. I mean who wouldn't, when God keeps blessing him left, right, center inspite of opposition. We're talking about someone who's arguably one of the greatest men on earth today. Even if I didn't like his face, the Word demands that i give him double honour. 1Timothy 5:17 "The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching."
So calm down ok? |

Daviddson: @Donnie, why not done in the name of Jesus instead? Why must everything in CEC revolve around pastor Chris? To many he's a god they worship (not literally). That's idolatry. Because Jesus gave us Pastor Chris. If you claim you follow Jesus and do not submit to a Pastor, you lie! I'm not a bastard. |

Xtopherprince: But pastors have spoken all manner of absurdities like "Not tithing is same as robbing God, Multitude of curses await those who don't tithe " all in a bid to get members to pay tithes. Some even go as far as painting the most gruesome scenerios that will befall non tithers. That to me is tantamount to forcing one to pay tithe. Nobody wants to die in an accident or get robbed because of non payment of tithe. There's already a curse in the world. All the systems of this world are under the same curse. There is a god of this world remember? Tithing is a spiritual principle that causes us to live above the systems of this world, secure and open to heavenly inspiration that keeps us ahead and on top always. But it is not compulsory, same way kingdom prosperity is not compulsory. It's a choice. |

Members of the Volunteer Medical Corps in UK expressed the compassion of Jesus to the homeless in the streets in commemoration of the #BLWDayofservice.
The corps members baked cakes and took along other food items and went out to feed the hungry.
They also gave them the Word by distributing free copies of Rhapsody of Realities.

Over the past few years, members of Believers Loveworld Nation aka Christ Embassy around the world carry out selfless services in their neighbourhoods, communities etc in honour of the quintessential man of God Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome who was born on 7th of December.
This year is no different as several acts of service and kindness are already being carried out around the world in honour of this great Man of God whose life epitomizes love, kindness and selfless service.
I'll share some pictures from this years' BLW Day of Service with you on this thread...

Maestro21: LOL, if you have nothing to say then you should just carry your olofofo somewhere else.
Anybody who accepts my child and rejects me does not know their left from their right. That is why Jesus felt the Jews/Pharisees were absurd. They claimed to love God and the law but when the one whom the law was describing came, they rather crucified him.
In the same vein, to accept Sinach's song is to accept Pastor Chris. She is only singing what she learnt from him. That is why Zionmade mentioned that aspect to you, but in your bid to talk before thinking, you missed the point.
Imagine a Harvard professor angry that a Polytechnic in Borno did not invite him to teach there? Abeg tell me, who needs whose help?
I have listened to some of those PFN guys and even on here I have said it; they make me laugh but at the same time I celebrate God for the victories. When I hear them talk about our right standing in God; talking in tongues regularly and the powers from it; oil and mantle and use of doves to represent the Holy Spirit etc. I remember what some of those same preachers said about that message 15 years ago. Today, they are preaching it on their pulpits and even using the same examples Pastor Chris used in those days when teaching same things. Which goes to show that some of them listen to his messages in secret.
Pastor only cares about associations of the godkind. Who you associate with here means nothing to God if his word is not being recognized and honored. It is not a political gathering. When you say "something is holding them back" also say "something is holding him back" from fraternizing with them. He has never asked for anybody's endorsement because he has never needed it.
Even Pastor Benny Hinn that is his close friend these days would not have met Pastor if he did not ask Sinach to take him to meet her Pastor. Meanwhile, some of those your Nigerian Pastors were famzing Benny Hinn to score cheap political points. Gbam |
